< 1 Tesaloniika 2 >
1 Waayo, walaalayaalow, waxaad og tihiin imaatinkayagii aannu idiin nimid inuusan noqon mid aan waxtar lahayn.
For you yourselves know, brothers, that our visit to you was not in vain.
2 Laakiinse annagoo awil aad ugu xanuunsannay oo lanagu ceebeeyey Filiboy, sidaad og tihiin, waxaannu ku dhiirranaannay Ilaaheenna inaannu injiilka Ilaah idiin sheegno annagoo dhib badan ku jirna.
On the contrary, even though we had previously suffered and been mistreated in Philippi, as you know, we had boldness in our God to declare to you the gospel of God in the face of strong opposition.
3 Waayo, waanadayadu kama iman qalad ama wasakh ama khiyaano,
For our exhortation does not come from error or impurity or with deceit,
4 laakiinse siduu Ilaah noogu bogay inuu nagu ammaaneeyo injiilka, sidaasaannu u hadalnaa, mana aha inaannu dadka ka farxinno, laakiinse inaannu ka farxinno Ilaaha qalbigayaga imtixaama.
but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God, who examines our hearts.
5 Sidaad og tihiin, marnaba kuma aannu isticmaalin hadal sasabasho ah ama damacnimo qarsoon, oo taas Ilaah baa marag ka ah.
God is our witness that we never came with words of flattery or with a pretext for greed, as you well know.
6 Dadka xaggiisana ammaan kama aannu doondoonin, ama xaggiinna ha noqoto, ama xagga dad kale, in kastoo aan culaab idinku noqon kari lahayn, annagoo ah rasuulladii Masiixa.
Nor did we seek glory from men (neither from you nor from others), though as Christ's apostles we could have asserted our authority.
7 Laakiin dhexdiinna waxaannu idiinku roonayn sida mid carruurteeda nuujisa ay iyaga u dhaqaalayso.
Instead, we were gentle among you, like a nursing mother caring for her children.
8 Sidaas daraaddeed, annagoo aad idiin jecel, ayaannu ku faraxnay inaannu wax idin siinno, mana aha injiilka Ilaah oo keliya, laakiinse xataa naftayada, maxaa yeelay, waxaad noo noqoteen kuwo aan jecel nahay.
We had such strong affection for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become dear to us.
9 Waayo, waad xusuusan tihiin, walaalayaalow, sidaannu dhib iyo daal ugu shaqaynay habeen iyo maalinba, inaannan midkiinna culaysin, oo waxaannu idinku wacdinnay injiilka Ilaah.
For you remember, brothers, our labor and hardship. Working night and day so as not to be a burden on any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God.
10 Idinkuna markhaati baad ka tihiin, Ilaahna wuu ka yahay, sidaannu daahir iyo xaq iyo ceebla'aan kula macaamiloonnay kuwiinna rumaysan.
You are witnesses, and so is God, of how devoutly, righteously, and blamelessly we conducted ourselves among you who believe.
11 Sidaad og tihiin waxaannu midkiin kastaba kula macaamiloonnay sida aabbe carruurtiisa ula macaamiloodo, annagoo idin waaninayna oo idin dhiirigelinayna oo idiin markhaati furayna,
As you know, we dealt with each one of you like a father deals with his own children, exhorting you, encouraging you,
12 inaad u socotaan si istaahisha Ilaaha idiinku yeedhay boqortooyadiisa iyo ammaantiisa.
and testifying that you should walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.
13 Oo sababtaas daraaddeed ayaannu joogsila'aan Ilaah ugu mahadnaqnaa in, markii aad naga hesheen ereygii Ilaah oo aad naga maqasheen, aydnaan u aqbalin sidii dad hadalkiis laakiin siduu run u yahay ereygii Ilaah oo haddana idinka dhex shaqeeya kuwiinna rumaysan.
We also give thanks to God without ceasing because, when you received the word of God that you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it truly is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe.
14 Waayo, walaalayaalow, waxaad noqoteen kuwo ku dayday dadka kiniisadaha Ilaah oo Yahuudiya jooga, kuwaas oo ah kuwa Ciise Masiix, maxaa yeelay, idinkuna waxaad dadkiinna ka hesheen dhibtaas oo kale, siday iyaguba uga heleen Yuhuudda,
For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, because you suffered the same things from your own countrymen that they did from the Jews,
15 oo ah kuwii dilay Rabbi Ciise iyo nebiyadiiba, oo annagana dibadda noo eryay, oo aan Ilaah ka farxin, dadka oo dhanna ka geesta ah.
who killed the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and who also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to all men
16 Oo waxay noo diidaan inaannu dadka aan Yuhuudda ahayn la hadalno inay badbaadaan. Sidaasay mar walba dembiyadooda u dhammaystiraan, laakiin ugu dambaysta cadhada waa ku dul degtay.
by hindering us from telling the Gentiles how they can be saved. In this way they are always filling up the measure of their sins, but wrath has come upon them at last.
17 Laakiin, walaalayaalow, annagoo wakhti yar lanaga kiin qaaday, xagga isla-joogidda ee ayan ahayn xagga qalbiga, aad iyo aad baannu ugu dadaalnay inaannu wejigiinna aragno, annagoo xiiso weyn u qabna;
As for us, brothers, when we were bereaved of you for a brief hour (being physically absent, but with you in our hearts), we longed with great eagerness to see you face to face.
18 waayo, waannu jeclaan lahayn inaannu idiin nimaadno, anigoo Bawlos ah mar iyo lababa waan jeclaa, laakiinse Shayddaan baa naga hor joogsaday.
Therefore we wanted to come to you—certainly I, Paul, tried to do so again and again—but Satan hindered us.
19 Maxaa yeelay, waa ayo rajadayada iyo farxaddayada iyo taajka faanidda oo ahaan doona Rabbigeenna Ciise Masiix hortiisa goortuu yimaado? Sow idinka ma aha?
For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting in the presence of our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you?
20 Waa idinka faankayaga iyo farxaddayaduba.
Yes, you are our glory and joy!
