< Samuu'Eel Kowaad 7 >
1 Markaasaa waxaa yimid dadkii reer Qiryad Yecaariim, oo waxay qaateen sanduuqii Rabbiga, oo waxay soo geliyeen gurigii Abiinaadaab ee buurta ku yiil, oo waxay quduus ka dhigeen wiilkiisii Elecaasaar inuu hayo sanduuqii Rabbiga.
So the people of Kiriath-jearim came and took the Ark of the Lord. They put it in Abinadab's house on the hill. They dedicated his son Eleazar to take care of the Ark of the Lord.
2 Oo ilaa maalintii sanduuqu yiil Qiryad Yecaariim wakhtigu waa dheeraa, maxaa yeelay, waxay ahayd labaatan sannadood, oo reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammuna Rabbiga ayay ka daba barooran jireen.
The Ark remained there in Kiriath-jearim from that day for a long time, in fact for twenty years. Everyone in Israel mourned and in repentance came back to the Lord.
3 Markaasaa Samuu'eel wuxuu la hadlay reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Haddaad qalbigiinna oo dhan Rabbiga ugu soo noqotaan, de haddaba dhexdiinna ka fogeeya ilaahyada qalaad iyo Cashtarod, oo qalbiyadiinna u diyaariya Rabbiga oo keligiis u adeega; oo isna wuu idinka samatabbixin doonaa gacanta reer Falastiin.
Then Samuel said to all of Israel, “If you sincerely wish to come back to the Lord, then get rid of the foreign gods and the Ashtoreth images you have, and commit yourselves to the Lord and only worship him, and he will save you from the Philistines.”
4 Markaasaa reer binu Israa'iil iska fogeeyeen Bacaliim iyo Cashtarod, oo waxay u adeegeen Rabbiga keliya.
The people of Israel got rid of their Baals and Ashtoreth images and worshiped only the Lord.
5 Markaasaa Samuu'eel wuxuu yidhi, Reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan Misfaah ku soo wada ururiya, oo anna Rabbigaan idiin baryayaa.
Then Samuel said, “Have all the people of Israel gather at Mizpah, and I will pray to the Lord for you.”
6 Markaasay dhammaantood Misfaah ku soo wada urureen, oo intay biyo soo dhaamiyeen ayay Rabbiga hortiisa ku shubeen, oo maalintaasna way soomeen, oo waxay halkaas ku yidhaahdeen, Annagu waxaannu ku dembaabnay Rabbiga. Oo Samuu'eelna wuxuu reer binu Israa'iil ku xukumi jiray Misfaah.
Once they had gathered at Mizpah, they drew water and poured it out before the Lord. They fasted that day, and admitted, “We have sinned against the Lord.” Samuel became the leader of the Israelites at Mizpah.
7 Oo reer Falastiinna markay maqleen in reer binu Israa'iil Misfaah ku urursan yihiin ayaa madaxdii reer Falastiin u kaceen inay ku soo duulaan reer binu Israa'iil. Oo reer binu Israa'iilna markay taas maqleen ayay aad uga cabsadeen reer Falastiin.
When the Philistines found out that the Israelites had gathered at Mizpah, their rulers led an attack on Israel. When the Israelites heard about this, they were terrified at what the Philistines might do.
8 Oo reer binu Israa'iilna waxay Samuu'eel ku yidhaahdeen, Ha joojin inaad noo baridid Rabbiga Ilaaheenna ahu inuu naga badbaadiyo gacanta reer Falastiin.
They told Samuel, “Don't stop pleading with the Lord our God for us so he can save us from the Philistines.”
9 Markaasaa Samuu'eel soo kaxaystay wan yar oo caanonuug ah oo wuxuu Rabbiga ugu bixiyey allabari la gubo dhammaantiis; markaasaa Samuu'eel Rabbiga u baryay reer binu Israa'iil aawadood; oo Rabbiguna wuu ka aqbalay Samuu'eel.
Samuel took a young lamb and presented it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord. He cried out for help to the Lord for Israel, and the Lord responded.
10 Oo intii Samuu'eel allabariga la gubo bixinayay ayaa reer Falastiin soo dhowaadeen inay la diriraan reer binu Israa'iil; laakiinse Rabbigu maalintaas wuxuu reer Falastiin ku soo daayay onkod weyn, wuuna baabbi'iyey, oo reer binu Israa'iil hortooday ku jabeen.
While Samuel was presenting the burnt offering, the Philistines approached to attack Israel. But the Lord thundered extremely loudly against the Philistines that day, which totally confused them, and they were defeated as Israel watched.
11 Kolkaasay raggii reer binu Israa'iil intay Misfaah ka soo baxeen reer Falastiin eryadeen, wayna laynayeen ilaa ay Beytkaar hoosteeda yimaadeen.
Then the men of Israel ran out from Mizpah and chased them, killing them all the way to a place near Beth-car.
12 Markaasaa Samuu'eel dhagax qaaday oo qotomiyey Misfaah iyo Sheen dhexdooda, oo wuxuu magiciisiina u bixiyey Ebenceser, oo yidhi, Ilaa haatan Rabbigu waa ina caawiyey.
After this Samuel took a stone and placed it between Mizpah and Shen. He called it Ebenezer, saying, “The Lord helped us right up to here!”
13 Sidaas daraaddeed reer Falastiin waa la hoosaysiiyey, oo mar dambena sooma ay gelin xuduudkii reer binu Israa'iil; oo intii Samuu'eel noolaa oo dhan gacanta Rabbigu gees bay ka ahayd reer Falastiin.
In this way the Philistines were kept under control and did not invade Israel again. During Samuel's lifetime the Lord used his power against the Philistines.
14 Oo magaalooyinkii reer Falastiin ay ka qabsadeen reer binu Israa'iil waa loo soo celiyey reer binu Israa'iil, oo waxay ahaayeen Ceqroon iyo xataa tan iyo Gad; oo xuduudkeedii reer binu Israa'iil waa kala soo baxeen gacantii reer Falastiin. Oo reer binu Israa'iil iyo reer Amorna nabad baa u dhexaysay.
The towns the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, all the way from Ekron to Gath, and Israel also liberated the neighboring territory from the hands of the Philistines. There was also peace between Israel and the Amorites.
15 Oo Samuu'eelna wuxuu reer binu Israa'iil xukumi jiray intuu noolaa oo dhan.
Samuel was Israel's leader for the rest of his life.
16 Oo sannad kastaba wuxuu ku soo wareegi jiray Beytel, iyo Gilgaal, iyo Misfaah, oo meelahaas oo dhanna reer binu Israa'iil buu ku xukumi jiray.
Every year he went around, going to Bethel, Gilgal, and Mizpah. At all these places he ruled Israel.
17 Oo wuxuu ku noqon jiray Raamaah, waayo, halkaasuu gurigiisu ahaa, oo halkaasna reer binu Israa'iil buu ku xukumi jiray; oo halkaasna wuxuu Rabbiga uga dhisay meel allabari.
Then he would return to Ramah because that was where he lived. He ruled Israel from there, and also built an altar to the Lord.
