1 Anigoo anba oday la ah oo marag ka ah waxyaalihii Masiixu ku xanuunsaday oo weliba ka qayb qaadanaya ammaanta la muujin doono, waxaan ku waaninayaa odayaasha idinku dhex jira:
So I exhort the Elders among you--I who am their fellow Elder and have been an eye-witness of the sufferings of the Christ, and am also a sharer in the glory which is soon to be revealed.
2 Ilaaliya idaha Ilaah oo idin dhex jooga, idinkoo aan qasab ahaan u dhawrayn, laakiinse raalli ka ah sida Ilaah doonayo.
Be shepherds of God's flock which is among you. Exercise the oversight not reluctantly but eagerly, in accordance with the will of God; not for base gain but with cheerful minds;
3 Oo weliba ha u dhawrina faa'iido ceeb ah daraaddeed, laakiinse ku dhawra maan diyaar ah, hana u xukumina sida idinkoo sayidyo u ah kuwaad u talisaan, laakiinse idaha masaallo u noqda.
not lording it over your Churches but proving yourselves patterns for the flock to imitate.
4 Oo marka Adhijirka sare la muujiyo, idinku waxaad heli doontaan taajka ammaanta oo aan baabba'ayn.
And then, when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the never-withering wreath of glory.
5 Sidaasoo kalena dhallinyaraday, odayaasha ka dambeeya, oo kulligiinba is-hoosaysiiya, in midkiinba midka kale u adeego, maxaa yeelay, Ilaah waa hor joogsadaa kuwa kibra, laakiinse kuwa is-hoosaysiiya ayuu nimco siiyaa.
In the same way you younger men must submit to your elders; and all of you must gird yourselves with humility towards one another, for God sets Himself against the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
6 Haddaba sidaas daraaddeed gacanta xoogga leh oo Ilaah iska hoosaysiiya, si uu wakhtigiisa idiin sarraysiiyo.
Humble yourselves therefore beneath the mighty hand of God, so that at the right time He may set you on high.
7 Welwelkiinna oo dhan isaga saara, maxaa yeelay, isagu dan buu idinka leeyahay.
Throw the whole of your anxiety upon Him, because He Himself cares for you.
8 Feeyignaada oo soo jeeda, waayo, cadowgiinna Ibliiska ahu sida libaax ciyaya ayuu u wareegaa oo u doondoonaa cid uu liqo.
Curb every passion, and be on the alert. Your great accuser, the Devil, is going about like a roaring lion to see whom he can devour.
9 Isaga hor joogsada, idinkoo iimaankiinna ku adag, oo garanaya in isla dhibaatooyinkaasu ay ku dhacaan walaalahiinna dunida ku jira.
Withstand him, firm in your faith; knowing that your brethren in other parts of the world are passing through just the same experiences.
10 Haddaba Ilaaha leh nimcada oo dhan oo idiinku yeedhay ammaantiisa daa'imkaa oo Masiixa ku jirta, markii aad in yar xanuunsataan ka dib isagu wuu idin kaamili doonaa, oo idin adkayn doonaa, oo idin xoogayn doonaa. (aiōnios g166)
And God, the giver of all grace, who has called you to share His eternal glory, through Christ, after you have suffered for a short time, will Himself make you perfect, firm, and strong. (aiōnios g166)
To Him be all power unto the Ages of the Ages! Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 Waxaan warqad yar idiinku soo qoray gacanta walaalkeen Silwanos oo aan ku tirinayo inuu aamin yahay. Oo waxaan idinku waaninayaa oo marag ahaan idiinku sheegayaa in tanu tahay nimcada Ilaah oo run ah. Taas ku adkaada
I send this short letter by Silas, our faithful brother--for such I regard him--in order to encourage you, and to bear witness that what I have told you is the true grace of God. In it stand fast.
13 Waxaa idin soo salaamaya tan Baabuloon joogta oo laydinla doortay, iyo wiilkayga Markos.
The Church in Babylon, chosen like yourselves by God, sends greetings, and so does Mark my son.
14 Isku salaama dhunkasho jacayl ah. Oo intiinna Masiixa kuwiisa ah oo dhan nabaddu ha u ahaato.
Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace be with all of you who are in Christ.
