2 Wiilashii Qohaadna waxay ahaayeen Camraam, iyo Isehaar, iyo Xebroon, iyo Cusii'eel.
And the sons of Kehath: 'Amram, Yizhar, and Chebron, and 'Uzziel.
3 Ilmaha Camraamna waxay ahaayeen Haaruun, iyo Muuse, iyo Maryan. Wiilashii Haaruunna waxay ahaayeen Naadaab, iyo Abiihuu, iyo Elecaasaar, iyo Iitaamaar.
And the children of 'Amram: Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abihu, El'azar, and Ithamar.
4 Elecaasaar wuxuu dhalay Fiinexaas, Fiinexaasna wuxuu dhalay Abiishuuca,
El'azar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua',
5 Abiishuucana wuxuu dhalay Buqii, Buqiina wuxuu dhalay Cusii,
And Abishua' begat Bukki, and Bukki begat 'Uzzi,
6 Cusiina wuxuu dhalay Seraxyaah, Seraxyaahna wuxuu dhalay Meraayood,
And 'Uzzi begat Zerachyah, and Zerachyah begat Merayoth,
7 Meraayoodna wuxuu dhalay Amaryaah, Amaryaahna wuxuu dhalay Axiituub,
Merayoth begat Amaryah, and Amaryah begat Achitub,
8 Axiituubna wuxuu dhalay Saadooq, Saadooqna wuxuu dhalay Axiimacas,
And Achitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Achima'az,
9 Axiimacasna wuxuu dhalay Casaryaah, Casaryaahna wuxuu dhalay Yooxaanaan,
And Achima'az begat 'Azaryah, and 'Azaryah begat Jochanan,
10 Yooxaanaanna wuxuu dhalay Casaryaah, (isagu wuxuu ahaa kii hawsha wadaadnimada ka qaban jiray gurigii Sulaymaan Yeruusaalem ka dhisay, )
And Jochanan begat 'Azaryah, he it is that officiated as priest in the house that Solomon had built in Jerusalem;
11 Casaryaahna wuxuu dhalay Amaryaah, Amaryaahna wuxuu dhalay Axiituub,
And 'Azaryah begat Amaryah, and Amaryah begat Achitub,
12 Axiituubna wuxuu dhalay Saadooq, Saadooqna wuxuu dhalay Shalluum,
And Achitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,
13 Shalluumna wuxuu dhalay Xilqiyaah, Xilqiyaahna wuxuu dhalay Casaryaah,
And Shallum begat Chilkiyah, and Chilkiyah begat 'Azaryah,
14 Casaryaahna wuxuu dhalay Seraayaah, Seraayaahna wuxuu dhalay Yehoosaadaaq,
And 'Azaryah begat Serayah, and Serayah begat Jehozadak,
15 Yehoosaadaaqna maxaabiis ahaan buu tegey waagii Rabbigu dadkii Yahuudah iyo Yeruusaalem uu gacantii Nebukadnesar ku kaxeeyey.
And Jehozadak went away, when the Lord carried Judah and Jerusalem into exile through the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
16 Wiilashii Laawina waxay ahaayeen Gershoom, iyo Qohaad, iyo Meraarii.
The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kehath, and Merari.
17 Kuwanuna waa magacyadii wiilashii Gershoom, Libnii iyo Shimcii.
And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni, and Shim'i.
18 Wiilashii Qohaadna waxay ahaayeen Camraam, iyo Isehaar, iyo Xebroon, iyo Cusii'eel.
And the sons of Kehath were, 'Amram, and Yizhar, and Chebron, and 'Uzziel.
19 Wiilashii Meraariina waxay ahaayeen Maxlii iyo Mushii. Oo intaasu waa qolooyinkii reer Laawi iyo sidii ay reerahoodu ahaayeen.
The sons of Merari: Machli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.
20 Gershoom waxaa ka soo farcamay wiilkiisii Libnii oo dhalay Yaaxad, oo isna dhalay Simmaah,
Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jachath his son, Zimmah his son,
21 oo isna dhalay Yoo'aax, oo isna dhalay Iddo, oo isna dhalay Serax, oo isna dhalay Ye'ateray.
Yoach his son, 'Iddo his son, Zerach his son, Yeatherai his son.
22 Qohaadna waxaa ka soo farcamay wiilkiisii Cammiinaadaab, oo dhalay Qorax, oo isna dhalay Asiir,
The sons of Kehath: 'Amminadab his son, Korach his son, Assir his son,
23 oo isna dhalay Elqaanaah, oo isna dhalay Ebiyaasaaf, oo isna dhalay Asiir,
Elkanah his son, and Ebyassaph his son, and Assir his son,
24 oo isna dhalay Taxad, oo isna dhalay Uurii'eel, oo isna dhalay Cusiyaah, oo isna dhalay Shaa'uul.
Tachath his son, Uriel his son, 'Uzziyah his son, and Saul his son.
25 Wiilashii Elqaanaahna waxay ahaayeen Camaasay iyo Axiimood.
And the sons of Elkanah: 'Amassai, and Achimoth,
26 Oo xagga Elqaanaahna waxaa ka soo farcamay Soofay, oo dhalay Nahad,
[And] Elkanah. The sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, and Nachath his son.
27 oo isna dhalay Elii'aab, oo isna dhalay Yeroxaam, oo isna dhalay Elqaanaah.
Eliab his son, Jerocham his son, Elkanah his son.
28 Wiilashii Samuu'eelna waxay ahaayeen curadkiisii oo ahaa Yoo'eel, iyo kii labaad oo ahaa Abiiyaah.
And the sons of Samuel: the first-born Vashni, and Abiyah.
29 Farcankii Meraariina wuxuu ahaa Maxlii, oo dhalay Libnii, oo isna dhalay Shimcii, oo isna dhalay Cuusaah,
The sons of Merari: Machli, Libni his son, Shim'i his son, 'Uzzah his son,
30 oo isna dhalay Shimcaa, oo isna dhalay Xaggiyaah, oo isna dhalay Casaayaah.
Shim'a his son, Chaggiyah his son, 'Assayah his son.
31 Kuwanuna waa kuwii Daa'uud u sarraysiiyey hawshii gabayga oo gurigii Rabbiga ku dhex jirtay markii sanduuqii axdiga meeshaas la dhigay dabadeed.
And these are those whom David appointed for the purpose of conducting the singing in the house of the Lord, after the ark had a resting-place.
32 Oo iyagu taambuugga teendhadii shirka horteeda ayay gabay kaga adeegi jireen, ilaa Sulaymaan uu Yeruusaalem ka dhex dhisay gurigii Rabbiga, oo iyana hawshooda waxay u qaban jireen siday u kala horhorreeyeen.
And they ministered before the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation with singing, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they acted according to their prescribed manner in their service.
33 Oo intanu waa kuwii adeegi jiray iyo wiilashoodii. Kuwii ka mid ahaa reer Qohaad waxay ahaayeen Heemaan oo gabayaa ahaa, ina Yoo'eel, ina Samuu'eel,
And these are those that so acted with their sons. Of the sons of the Kehathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
34 ina Elqaanaah, ina Yeroxaam, ina Elii'eel, ina Too'ax,
The son of Elkanah, the son of Jerocham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toach,
35 ina Suuf, ina Elqaanaah, ina Maxad, ina Camaasay,
The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Machath, the son of 'Amassai,
36 ina Elqaanaah, ina Yoo'eel, ina Casaryaah, ina Sefanyaah,
The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of 'Azaryah, the son of Zephanyah,
37 ina Taxad, ina Asiir, ina Ebiyaasaaf, ina Qorax,
The son of Tachath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebyassaph, the son of Korach,
38 ina Isehaar, ina Qohaad, ina Laawi, ina Israa'iil.
The son of Yizhar, the son of Kehath, the son at Levi, the son of Israel.
39 Walaalkiis Aasaaf oo gacantiisii midig istaagi jiray wuxuu ahaa Aasaaf ina Berekyaah, ina Shimcaa,
And his relative Assaph was he, who stood on his right hand, [even] Assaph the son of Berachyah, the son of Shim'a,
40 ina Miikaa'eel, ina Bacaseeyaah, ina Malkiiyaah,
The son of Michael, the son of Ba'asseyah, the son of Malkiyah,
41 ina Etnii, ina Serax, ina Cadaayaah,
The son of Ethni, the son of Zerach, the son of 'Adayah.
42 ina Eetaan, ina Simmaah, ina Shimcii,
The son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shim'i,
43 ina Yaxad, ina Gershoom, ina Laawi.
The son of Jachath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.
44 Oo iyaga gacantooda midigtana waxaa istaagi jiray walaalahood oo ahaa reer Meraarii, Eetaan oo ahaa ina Qiishii, ina Cabdii, ina Malluug,
And their brethren the sons of Merari [stood] on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of 'Abdi, the son of Malluch,
45 ina Xashabyaah, ina Amasyaah, ina Xilqiyaah,
The son of Chashabyah, the son of Amazyah, the son of Chilkiyah,
46 ina Amsii, ina Baanii, ina Shemer,
The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,
47 ina Maxlii, ina Mushii, ina Meraarii, ina Laawi.
The son of Machli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
48 Oo walaalahood oo ahaa reer Laawina waxaa loo doortay inay ka adeegaan taambuuggii guriga Ilaah oo dhan.
And their brethren the Levites were superadded for all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.
49 Laakiinse Haaruun iyo wiilashiisu waxay meesha allabariga la gubo iyo girgiraha fooxa wax ugu bixin jireen shuqulkii meesha ugu quduuska ah oo dhan iyo inay reer binu Israa'iil kafaaraggud ugu sameeyaan, sidii dhammaan addoonkii Ilaah ee Muuse ahaa amray.
But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt-offering, and upon the altar of incense, [and were] for all the work of the most holy place, and to make an atonement for Israel, in accordance with all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
50 Oo kuwanuna waa farcankii Haaruun, wiilkiisii Elecaasaar, oo dhalay Fiinexaas, oo isna dhalay Abiishuuca,
And these are the sons of Aaron: El'azar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua' his son,

Zadok his son, Achima'az his son.
54 Haddaba kuwanu waa meelahoodii ay degi jireen iyo sidii degmooyinkoodu ahaayeen kuwaasoo ku dhex yiil soohdimahooda. Reer Haaruun oo ah qolooyinka reer Qohaad, oo saamiga kowaad lahaa,
And these are their dwelling-places with their castles in their boundaries; unto the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kehathites; for theirs was the [first] lot, —
55 waxaa la siiyey Xebroon oo ku dhex tiil dalka reer Yahuudah, iyo agagaarkeedii ku wareegsanaa oo dhanba.
And they gave unto them Hebron in the land of Judah, with its open spaces round about it.
56 Laakiinse magaalada beeraheedii iyo tuulooyinkeediiba waxaa la siiyey Kaaleeb oo ahaa ina Yefunneh.
But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son Jephunneh.
57 Reer Haaruunna waxaa la siiyey magaalooyinkii magangalka oo ah Xebroon, iyo Libnaah iyo weliba agagaarkeed, iyo Yatiir, iyo Eshtemooca iyo agagaarkeedii,
And to the sons of Aaron they gave [of] the cities of refuge Hebron, and Libnah with its open spaces, and Jattir, and Eshthemoa, with its open spaces.
58 iyo Xiileen iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Debiir iyo agagaarkeedii,
And Chilen with its open spaces, Debir with its open spaces,
59 iyo Caashaan iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Beytshemesh iyo agagaarkeedii.
And 'Ashan with its open spaces, and Beth-shemesh with its open spaces.
60 Oo dalkii qabiilka reer Benyaamiinna waxaa laga siiyey Gebac iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Calemed iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Canaatood iyo agagaarkeedii. Oo kulli magaalooyinkoodii oo qolooyinkooda oo dhan ku dhex yiil waxay ahaayeen saddex iyo toban magaalo.
And from the tribe of Benjamin, Geba' with its open spaces, and 'Alemeth with its open spaces, and 'Anathoth with its open spaces. And all their cities were thirteen cities after their families.
61 Oo reer Qohaad intiisii hadhayna waxaa saami loo siiyey toban magaalo oo ay ka dhex heleen reerka qabiilka iyo qabiilka badhkiisii, kaasoo ah qabiilkii reer Manaseh badhkiis.
And unto the sons of Kehath that were left of the family of that tribe, [were given] from the half tribe, the half tribe of Menasseh, by lot, ten cities.
62 Oo reer Gershoomna sidii ay reerahoodu ahaayeen ayay saddex iyo toban magaalo uga heleen qabiilka reer Isaakaar, iyo qabiilka reer Aasheer, iyo qabiilka reer Naftaali, iyo qabiilka reer Manaseh oo Baashaan dhex deggan.
And to the sons or Gershom after their families, from the tribe of Issachar, and from the tribe of Asher, and from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the tribe of Menasseh in Bashan, [were given] thirteen cities.
63 Oo reer Meraarii waxaa saami loogu siiyey siday reerahoodu ahaayeen laba iyo toban magaalo oo ay ka dhex heleen qabiilka reer Ruubeen, iyo qabiilka reer Gaad, iyo qabiilka reer Sebulun.
Unto the sons of Merari after their families, from the tribe of Reuben, and from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun, [were given] by lot, twelve cities.
64 Oo reer binu Israa'iilna waxay reer Laawi siiyeen magaalooyinkii iyo agagaarkoodii oo dhan.
And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their open spaces.
65 Oo saami ahaan ayay magaalooyinkan la magacaabay uga siiyeen qabiilka reer Yahuudah, iyo qabiilka reer Simecoon, iyo qabiilka reer Benyaamiin.
And they gave by lot from the tribe of the children of Judah, and from the tribe of the children of Simeon, and from the tribe of the children of Benjamin these cities, which they called by names.
66 Reerihii Qohaad qaarkoodna waxay magaalooyin ku lahaayeen meelo soohdintooda ah oo ay ka heleen qabiilka reer Efrayim.
And some of the families of the sons of Kehath had the cities of their territory from the tribe of Ephraim.
67 Oo iyaga waxaa la siiyey magaalooyinkii magangalka, oo waxayna ahaayeen Shekem oo ku dhex tiil dalka buuraha leh oo reer Efrayim iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo weliba Geser iyo agagaarkeedii,
And they gave unto them, [of] the cities of refuge Sechem with its open spaces in the mountain of Ephraim, and Gezer with its open spaces.
68 iyo Yoqmecaam iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Beytxooroon iyo agagaarkeedii,
And Jokme'am with its open spaces, and Beth-choron with its open spaces,
69 iyo Ayaaloon iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Gad Rimmoon iyo agagaarkeedii.
And Ayalon with its open spaces, and Gath-rimmon with its open spaces.
70 Oo qabiilkii reer Manaseh badhkiisna waxaa laga dhex siiyey Caaneer iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Bilcaam iyo agagaarkeedii, reer Qohaad intooda hadhay aawadood.
And from the half tribe of Menasseh: 'Aner with its open spaces: and Bil'am with its open spaces, for the family of the remaining portion of the sons of Kehath.
71 Oo reer Gershoomna waxaa qabiilka reer Manaseh badhkiisii laga siiyey Goolaan oo Baashaan ku taal iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Cashtarod iyo agagaarkeedii.
Unto the sons of Gershom [were given] from the family of the half tribe of Menasseh, Golan in Bashan with its open spaces, and 'Ashtaroth with its open spaces.
72 Oo qabiilka reer Isaakaarna waxaa laga siiyey Qedesh iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Daaberad iyo agagaarkeedii,
And from the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh with its open spaces, Dobrath with its open spaces,
73 iyo Raamod iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Caaneem iyo agagaarkeedii.
And Ramoth with its open spaces, and 'Anem with its open spaces.
74 Oo qabiilkii reer Aasheerna waxaa laga siiyey Maashaal iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Cabdoon iyo agagaarkeedii,
And from the tribe of Asher: Mashal with its open spaces, and 'Abdon with its open spaces,
75 iyo Xuuqoq iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Rexob iyo agagaarkeedii.
And Chukok with its open spaces, and Rechob with its open spaces.
76 Oo qabiilkii reer Naftaalina waxaa laga siiyey Qedesh oo Galili ku taal iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Xammoon iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Qiryaatayim iyo agagaarkeedii.
And from the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee with its open spaces, and Chammon with its open spaces, and Kiryathayim with its open spaces.
77 Oo reer Laawi intoodii hadhay oo ahayd reer Meraarii waxaa qabiilka reer Sebulun laga siiyey Rimmoonoo iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Taaboor iyo agagaarkeedii.
Unto the remaining portion of the children of Merari [were given] from the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with its open spaces, Tabor with its open spaces.
78 Oo Webi Urdun shishadiisa oo ah Yerixoo agteeda oo ah Webi Urdun xaggiisa bari waxaa qabiilka reer Ruubeenna laga siiyey Beser oo cidlada ku taal iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Yahsaah iyo agagaarkeedii,
And on the other side the Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, from the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with its open spaces, and Jahzah with its open spaces,
79 iyo Qedemood iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Mefacad iyo agagaarkeedii.
And Kedemoth with its open spaces, and Mepha'ath with its open spaces.
80 Oo qabiilka reer Gaadna waxaa laga siiyey Raamod oo Gilecaad ku taal iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Maxanayim iyo agagaarkeedii,
And from the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gila'd with its open spaces, and Machanayim with its open spaces.
81 iyo Xeshboon iyo agagaarkeedii, iyo Yacser iyo agagaarkeedii.
And Cheshbon with its open spaces, and Ja'azer with its open spaces.
