1 Oo taas dabadeed ayaa Daa'uud reer Falastiin laayay oo jebiyey, oo Gad iyo magaalooyinkeediiba gacantii reer Falastiin wuu ka qaaday.
And it cometh to pass after this, that David smiteth the Philistines, and humbleth them, and taketh Gath and its small towns out of the hand of the Philistines;
2 Oo wuxuu kaloo laayay reer Moo'aab, oo reer Moo'aabna addoommay Daa'uud u noqdeen, oo baad bay u keeneen.
and he smiteth Moab, and the Moabites are servants to David, bringing a present.
3 Oo ilaa Xamaad Daa'uud wuxuu dilayay boqorkii Soobaah oo ahaa Hadarceser, intuu ku socday inuu dowladnimadiisa ku ag dhiso Webi Yufraad.
And David smiteth Hadarezer king of Zobah, at Hamath, in his going to establish his power by the river Phrat,
4 Oo Daa'uud wuxuu isagii ka qabsaday kun gaadhifaras, iyo toddoba kun oo fardooley ah, iyo labaatan kun oo nin oo lug ah, oo Daa'uudna wuxuu boqno jaray fardihii gaadhiyada waday oo dhan, laakiinse boqol gaadhifaras buu uga reebay.
and David captureth from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen, and David destroyeth utterly all the chariots, and leaveth of them a hundred chariots [only].
5 Oo reer Suuriyihii Dimishaqna markay u yimaadeen inay u hiiliyaan boqorkii Soobaah oo ahaa Hadarceser, Daa'uud wuxuu iyagii ka laayay laba iyo labaatan kun oo nin.
And Aram of Damascus cometh in to give help to Hadarezer king of Zobah, and David smiteth in Aram twenty and two thousand men,
6 Daa'uudna wuxuu reer Dimishaq oo Suuriya jooga dhex dhigay rugo askareed, oo reer Suuriyana Daa'uud bay addoommo u noqdeen oo baad u keeneen. Oo Rabbiguna Daa'uud buu siiyey meel kastoo uu tegeyba.
and David putteth [garrisons] in Aram of Damascus, and the Aramaeans are to David for servants, bearing a present, and Jehovah giveth salvation to David whithersoever he hath gone.
7 Markaasaa Daa'uud soo qaaday gaashaammadii dahabka ahaa oo ay wateen addoommadii Hadarceser, wuxuuna keenay Yeruusaalem.
And David taketh the shields of gold that have been on the servants of Hadarezer, and bringeth them in to Jerusalem;
8 Oo magaalooyinkii Hadarceser oo ahaa Tibxad iyo Kuun Daa'uud wuxuu ka soo qaaday naxaas aad u badan, taasoo uu Sulaymaan ka sameeyey berkeddii naxaasta ahayd iyo tiirarkii iyo weelashii naxaasta ahaa.
and from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, hath David taken very much brass; with it hath Solomon made the brazen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass.
9 Oo Tocuu oo ahaa boqorkii Xamaad markuu maqlay in Daa'uud laayay Hadarceser oo ahaa boqorkii Soobaah ciidankiisii oo dhan
And Tou king of Hamath heareth that David hath smitten the whole force of Hadarezer king of Zobah,
10 ayuu Daa'uud wiilkiisii Hadooraam u soo diray inuu soo salaamo oo uu u soo duceeyo, maxaa yeelay, wuxuu la diriray oo dilay Hadarceser, waayo, Hadarceser wuxuu la diriri jiray Tocuu, oo wuxuu keenay weelal cayn kasta ah oo ah dahab iyo lacag iyo naxaasba.
and he sendeth Hadoram his son unto king David, to ask of him of peace, and to bless him (because that he hath fought against Hadarezer, and smiteth him, for a man of wars with Tou had Hadarezer been, ) and all kinds of vessels, of gold, and silver, and brass;
11 Oo kuwaasna Boqor Daa'uud wuxuu quduus uga dhigay Rabbiga, oo wuxuu ku daray lacagtii iyo dahabkii uu ka soo dhacay quruumihii oo dhan, kuwaasoo ahaa reer Edom, iyo reer Moo'aab, iyo reer Cammoon, iyo reer Falastiin, iyo reer Camaaleq.
also them hath king David sanctified to Jehovah with the silver and the gold that he hath taken from all the nations, from Edom, and from Moab, and from the sons of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.
12 Oo weliba Abiishay oo ay Seruuyaah dhashayna wuxuu reer Edom Dooxadii Cusbada kaga laayay siddeed iyo toban kun oo nin.
And Abishai son of Zeruiah hath smitten Edom in the valley of salt — eighteen thousand,
13 Oo isna wuxuu Edom dhex dhigay rugo askareed, oo reer Edom oo dhammuna Daa'uud bay addoommo u noqdeen. Oo Rabbiguna Daa'uud guul buu siiyey meel kastoo uu tegeyba.
and he putteth in Edom garrisons, and all the Edomites are servants to David; and Jehovah saveth David whithersoever he hath gone.
14 Oo Daa'uudna reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan buu u taliyey, oo wuxuu dadkiisa oo dhan ugu gar qaybshay xukun iyo caddaalad.
And David reigneth over all Israel, and he is doing judgment and righteousness to all his people,
15 Oo waxaa ciidanka u sarrayn jiray Yoo'aab oo ay Seruuyaah dhashay, oo taariikhdana waxaa qori jiray Yehooshaafaad ina Axiiluud,
and Joab son of Zeruiah [is] over the host, and Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud [is] remembrancer,
16 oo wadaaddona waxaa ahaa Saadooq ina Axiituub, iyo Abiimeleg ina Aabyaataar, Shawshaana wuxuu ahaa karraani.
and Zadok son of Ahitub, and Abimelech son of Abiathar, [are] priests, and Shavsha [is] scribe,
17 Oo Benaayaah ina Yehooyaadaacna wuxuu u taliyey reer Kereetiim iyo reer Feleetii, oo Daa'uud wiilashiisuna waxay ahaayeen madaxda boqorka u dhow.
and Benaiah son of Jehoiada [is] over the Cherethite and the Pelethite, and the elder sons of David [are] at the hand of the king.
