1 Lino obe weshikombolosha banobe, na njobe bani, uliya pakuleyela sobwe. Pakwinga pacindi mpolomboloshonga munobe ukute kulitoteka wenka, pakwinga nenjobe weshikombolosha ukute kubinsa bintu ibyo.
THEREFORE thou art inexcusable, O man, even every one that judgeth: for in the very thing wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest art living in the practices of the same things.
2 Tucinsheti Lesa walulama pakombolosha bantu beshikwinsa bintu byamushoboyo.
But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth, against those who practise such things.
3 Nomba obe muntususu, okute kombolosha bantu bambi beshikwinsa bintu ibi, pakwinsa bintu ibi, sena ukute kuyeyeti nukakuleye kombolosha kwa Lesa?
For thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest those who do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4 Sena ulapubishinga kwina moyo kunene kwa Lesa ne kutakalala bwangu ne moyonteka wakendi? Sena nkocinsheti Lesa lakwinshilinga nkumbo kwambeti usanduke kufuma kubwipishi bwakobe?
Or despisest thou the riches of his kindness and patience and long-suffering, ignorant that this goodness of God is leading thee to repentance?
5 Pakwinga moyo wakobe wayuma kayi nkausanduku, nukatambule cisubulo ca Lesa. Cisubulo ico nicikakuwile pabusuba mboshakaleshe bukalu bwakendi ne kombolosha kwakendi kwalulama.
But after thy obdurate and impenitent heart treasurest up for thyself wrath at the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
6 Lesa nakabweshele uliyense kwelana ne incito shakendi.
who will recompense to every man according to his works;
7 Bantu balapitilishinga kwinsa byaina ne balalangaulunga bulemu ne bulemeneno bwa Lesa ne buyumi butapu, balenshingeco, neye Lesa nakabape buyumi butapu. (aiōnios g166)
to those who, in the patient practice of good works, seek glory and honour and immortality―eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
8 Nomba bantu bakute kwinsa bintu mbyobasuni ne kukana kwinsa byalulama ne kukonkela byaipa, Lesa nakabape cisubulo mubukalu bwakendi.
But to those who are of a contentious spirit, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation, and wrath;
9 Mapensho ne makatasho nakabawile beshikwinsa byaipa, kutatikila Bayuda kushikila ne kubantu ba mishobo naimbi.
tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that doeth wickedness, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek.
10 Nsombi Lesa nakabape bulemu ne bulemeneno ne lumuno bonse beshikwinsa byaina, kutatikila Bayuda kushikila ku bantu bamishobo naimbi.
But glory and honour and peace be to every man who doeth that which is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek:
11 Pakwinga Lesa nkakute kusalaula.
for there is no acceptance of persons with God.
12 Bantu ba mishobo naimbi balabula kwinshiba Milawo ya Mose, ne kwinsa bwipishi, naboyo nibakonongeketi bantu babula kwinshiba Mulawo. Nomba abo Bayuda balepisha kabalibenshiba Milawo ya Mose nibakomboloshewe kwelana ne Mulawo,
For as many as have sinned without the law, shall perish also without the law: and as many as have sinned under the law shall be judged by the law;
13 Pakwinga bantu balulama pamenso a Lesa ntebo bakute kunyumfwowa Milawo sobwe. Nsombi bakute kwinsa mbuli Mulawo nceulambanga.
for the hearers of the law are not righteous before God, but the doers of the law shall be counted righteous;
14 Naboyo bantu babula kuba Bayuda babula Mulawo, nsombi na balenshi mbuli Milawo ncoikute kwamba palwabo bene, bakute kulesheti bakute Milawo mumyoyo yabo, nambi baliya Milawo ya Mose.
(for when the Gentiles, who have not the law naturally, do the things of the law, these, though not having the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Bwikalo bwabo bukute kulesheti Milawo yalembwa mumyoyo yabo. Kayi myoyo yabo ikute kulesheti nicakubinga, pakwinga mengashilo abo nacimbi cindi akute kubatoteka kayi ne kubasuminisha.
which exhibit the practice of the law written on their hearts, their conscience also bearing its testimony, and their mutual reasonings at intervals bringing accusations or forming excuses; )
16 Mbuli Mulumbe Waina ngonkute kukambauka nicikabe mushoboyo pabusuba Lesa mposhakomboloshe bantu kupitila muli Yesu Klistu pali ibyo byasolekwa mbyobakute kuyeya bene.
in the day when God shall judge the hidden things of men, according to my gospel by Jesus Christ.
17 Nomba lino obe ukute kulyambeti o Muyuda wacinkila manungo mu Milawo, kayi ukute kulisumpula muli Lesa wakobe.
Lo! thou art named a Jew, and restest on the law, and boastest in God,
18 Ucinshi ncalayandanga Lesa kwambeti winse, kayi waleishiwa mu Milawo, kusala byaina nambi byaipa.
and knowest the will of God, and bringest to the test the things that are different, being instructed out of the law;
19 Washometi njobe mutangunishi wa bantu bashipilwa, mumuni weshikumunikila bantu bali mumushinshe,
and hast confidence that thou thyself art a leader of the blind, a light of those who are in darkness,
20 kayi njobe shikwiyisha baluya ne bantu batacinshi. Washometi mu Milawo muli lwinshibo lwa bintu byancine ncine byonse.
an instructor of the uninformed, a teacher of babes, holding the form of knowledge and of truth in the law.
21 Nomba obe shikwiyisha banobe, nicani nkokute kuliyisha omwine? Obe shikukambauketi, “Kwiba sobwe.” Nicani obe ukute kwiba?
Thou therefore who teachest another, dost thou not teach thyself? thou that proclaimest aloud that a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 Nomba uleishingeti, “Nkamwelela kwinsa bupombo.” Nicani obe ulenshinga bupombo? Wapela kukambilila tumbwanga, nomba kayi nicani ukute kuya mu ng'anda kuya kwibamo tumbwanga?
thou that sayest, Do not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that holdest idols in abomination, dost thou commit sacrilege?
23 Ukute kulisumpuleti nkute Milawo ya Lesa, nomba nicani ulapanga nsoni Lesa pakupwaya Milawo?
thou who gloriest in the law, dishonourest thou God by the transgression of the law?
24 Mbuli Mabala ncakute kwambeti, “Bantu bamishoboyo naimbi bakute kunyansha Lesa pacebo ca njamwe Bayuda.”
for the name of God is blasphemed through you among the heathen, as it is written.
25 Na ukute kukonka Milawo ya Mose kupalulwa kwakobe kulicena. Nomba na nkokute kukonka Milawo caina kwambeti wikale kwakubula kupalulwa.
For circumcision indeed is advantageous, if thou practise the law: but if thou art a transgressor of the law, thy circumcision becomes uncircumcision,
26 Nomba na muntu wabula kupalulwa lakonkonga Milawo ya Mose, sena muntuyu pamenso a Lesa nteshakabeti muntu wapalulwa, necikabeti nkapalulwa?
If then the uncircumcision observe the righteous judgments of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be accounted for circumcision?
27 Weco muntu wabula kupalulwa ukute kukonka Milawo endiye weshi akamutoteke amwe Bayuda mwapalulwa kayi mukute Milawo yalembwa, nsombi mukute kwipwaya.
And the uncircumcision by nature which fulfilleth the law shall condemn thee, who through the letter and circumcision art a transgressor of the law.
28 Bintu ibi bilaleshengeti Muyuda mwine nteyo lalileshenga kubantu eti ni Muyuda sobwe. Kayi kupalulwa kwancine ncine nteko nkobakute kwinsa kumubili sobwe.
For not he who is outwardly such, is the Jew; neither is that which is outward in the flesh, circumcision.
29 Neco, Muyuda mwine ni uyo Muyuda mumoyo, kayi kupalulwa kwakendi nikwamumoyo kweshikwinshika ne Mushimu Uswepa, kwakubula Milawo sobwe. Weshikulumba muntu wa mushoboyo nte muntu sobwe nsombi ni Lesa.
But he is a Jew who is such inwardly; and circumcision is of the heart, in spirit, not in letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.
