Mateyo 10
1 Yesu walakuwa beshikwiya bakendi likumi ne babili, walabapa ngofu sha kupulisha mishimu yaipa, kayi ne ngofu shakusengula bulema apusanapusana ne malwashi apusanapusana.
And having called His twelve disciples to Himself, He gave to them power over unclean spirits, so as to be casting them out, and to be healing every disease and every sickness.
2 Maina abatumwa basa likumi ne babili, ni Shimoni, walikukwiweti, Petulo ne Ndileya mukwabo, ne Jemusi mwanendi Sebedayo, ne Yohane mukwabo,
And of the twelve apostles the names are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew; James of Zebedee, and his brother John;
3 ne Filipo, ne Batolomeyo, ne Tomasi ne Mateyo, walikusonkesha misonko, ne Jemusi mwanendi Alufeyo, ne Tadeyo,
Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the tax collector; James of Alpheus, and Lebbeus who was surnamed Thaddeus;
4 ne Shimoni wa mucipani ca bantu balikulwanina lwanguluko mu cishi ca Islayeli, kayi ne Yuda Sikalyote, uyo walamulisha Yesu kubalwani.
Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered Him up.
5 Aba bantu bali likumi ne babili, Yesu walabatuma ne kubapa malailile akwambeti, “Kamutaya kubantu babula kuba Bayuda sobwe, nambi kuya kwingila mu munshi uliwonse wa bene Samaliya sobwe.
These twelve Jesus sent forth, having given command to them, saying, “Do not go away to the way of the nations, and do not go into a city of the Samaritans,
6 Nomba amwe kamuyani kuli Baislayeli abo balyeti mbelele shataika.
and be going rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 Kamuyani, mukambaukengeti, Lesa ulipepi kwikalika bwami bwakendi.
And going on, proclaim, saying that the kingdom of the heavens has come near;
8 Sengulani balwashi, kupundusha bafwa, kusengula mankuntu, ne kupulisha mishimu yaipa. Mulatambulu kwabulyo, ne njamwe kamupani kwabulyo.
be healing [those] ailing, raising the dead, cleansing lepers, casting out demons—freely you received, freely give.
9 Kamutamanta mali mumpotomona shenu, golide nambi silifa, nambi mali amukuba.
Do not provide gold, nor silver, nor brass in your girdles,
10 Kamutamanta cipokolo ca pabulwendo, nambi kumanta minjila ibili, nambi nkwabilo, nambi nkoli. Basebenshi bela kutambula bintu mbyobabula.
nor leather pouch for the way, nor two coats, nor sandals, nor staff—for the workman is worthy of his nourishment.
11 “Mwengila mu munshi uliwonse, mulangaule muntu layandishishinga kumutambula, amutambula ikalani ku ng'anda kopeloko mpaka cishika cindi cakufumamo.
And into whatever city or village you may enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and abide there, until you may go forth.
12 Pakwingila mu ng'anda mwambengeti, ‘lumuno lube ne njamwe.’
And coming into the house greet it,
13 Lino bamutambula calushinisho bene ng'anda, lumuno lwenu lube nabo nditu, nomba na bene ng'anda balakana kumutambula, lumuno lwenu lubwelele kulinjamwe.
and if indeed the house is worthy, let your peace come on it; and if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 Muntu uliyense akana kumutambula, nambi kunyumfwa maswi ngomukute, pampamunani lusuko lwakumyendo kwenu mwafumanga mung'andomo nambi mumunshi umo.
And whoever may not receive you nor hear your words, coming forth from that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet,
15 Cakubinga ndamwambilishingeti, pabusuba bwalombolosho, nicikabeko capuba kubantu baku Sodomu, ne Gomola, kupita bantu ba mumunshi uwo.
truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.
16 “Kamunyumfwani! Ndamutumunga mbuli mbelele pakati pa baumpe, neco kamubani bacenjela mbuli njoka, nomba kayi babomba myoyo mbuli nkulimba.
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves, therefore be wise as the serpents, and pure as the doves.
17 Mucenjele nabo bantu, pakwinga nibakamwikate ne bakamutwale kunkuta, ne kumukwapula bikoti mu manda abo akupaililamo.
And take heed of men, for they will give you up to Sanhedrins, and in their synagogues they will scourge you,
18 Nibakamutwale ku bamanduna, ne kubami, pacebo canjame, cakwinseti ni mukambeleko bakamboni pamenso pabo, ne pamenso abantu bamishobo naimbi.
and before governors and kings you will be brought for My sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.
19 Bakamutwalanga ku nkuta, kamutaka yakamwanga kwambeti, ‘Inga ne twambeconi’ Nambi nitwambe cani. Pacindi copeleco ni mukapewe maswi akwamba.
And whenever they may deliver you up, do not be anxious how or what you may speak, for it will be given you in that hour what you will speak;
20 Pakwinga ntamwe mweshi mukambenga sobwe, nsombi shikwamba ni Mushimu Uswepa wa Lesa Bameshenu, eti ukambenga kupitila muli njamwe.
for you are not the speakers, but the Spirit of your Father that is speaking in you.
21 “Mukwabo nakabukile mukwabo nekumushinisha, baishi nibakabukile mwana nekumushinisha, nabo bana nibakabukile bamashali babo, ne kubashinisha.
And brother will deliver up brother to death, and father child, and children will rise up against parents, and will put them to death,
22 Bantu bonse ni bakapelane ne njamwe pacebo cakame. Nomba uyo eshakemanowa ncili mukunshoma mpaka kumapwililisho, endiyeti akapuluke.
and you will be hated by all because of My Name, but he who has endured to the end, he will be saved.
23 Lino bakatatika kumupensha mu munshi uwu ne uwo, mukafwambile ku minshi naimbi. Cakubinga ndamwambilishingeti, kamutana mupwisha kwendela minshi yonse ya Baislayeli, Mwana Muntu nakabenga kaliwesa kendi.
And whenever they may persecute you in this city, flee to the other, for truly I say to you, you may not have finished [going through] the cities of Israel until the Son of Man may come.
24 “Shikwiya nkapita lamwiyishinga sobwe, kayi musebenshi nkapita muntu walamwingisha ncito sobwe.
A disciple is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his lord;
25 Ee, ngacibeco kwambeti, shikwiya ngawelana ne lamwiyishinga, kayi musebenshi ngawelana ne walamwingisha ncito. Nomba lino na mwine mukowa, bantu balamupa lina eti, Belesebulu, Inga bantu bamukowa wakendi sena nkabelela kubapa maina aipa apitapo?”
sufficient to the disciple that he may be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord; if the master of the house they called Beelzebul, how much more those of his household?
26 “Neco, kamutatinanga bantu, kantu kalikonse kafwekelelwa nikakafwekulwe, kayi kalikonse kasolekwa nikakeshibikwe.
You may not, therefore, fear them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hid that will not be known;
27 Mbyondamwambilinga mu mushinshe, amwe mukabyambilenga patuba, ibyo mbyomulanyumfwili kumukushi, amwe mukabyambilenga pelu paciluli.
that which I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light, and that which you hear at the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
28 Kamutatinanga abo bakute kushina mubili, pakwinga nkabela kushina mushimu. Nsombi amwe kamutinani uyo wela kononga byonse bibili, mubili ne mushimu pamo, mu Gehena. (Geenna g1067)
And do not be afraid of those killing the body, and are not able to kill the soul, but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. (Geenna g1067)
29 Sena tutite tubili nkatukute kulwa ne kalyali kamo? Nsombi paliya nakakaba kamo kakute kulaka panshi kwakubula Bameshenu kwinshiba.
Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? And one of them will not fall on the ground without your Father;
30 Nomba kulinjamwe, ne mishishi ya mu mutwi yonse yabelengewa ne Lesa.
and of you—even the hairs of the head are all numbered;
31 Neco kamutatina, amwe mwapita mwelo wa tutite twingi!
therefore, do not be afraid, you are better than many sparrows.
32 “Abo bakute kunsumina pamenso abantu kwambeti nibakame, nenjame ninkabasumine pamenso a Bata balikwilu.
Everyone, therefore, who will confess in Me before men, I also will confess in him before My Father who is in the heavens;
33 Nomba lankananga pamenso abantu, nenjame ninkamukane pamenso a Bata bakwilu kwambeti nkandimwishipo sobwe.”
and whoever will deny Me before men, I also will deny him before My Father who is in the heavens.
34 “Sena mulayeyengeti ndaleshila lumuno pacishi capanshi? Ame ndiya kwishila lumuno sobwe, nsombi censho ca nkondo.
You may not suppose that I came to put peace on the earth; I did not come to put peace, but a sword;
35 Ndalesa kupansanya mwana mutuloba ne baishi, mwana mutukashi ne banyina, mulekashi ne banyina shala,
for I came to set a man at variance against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law,
36 balwani ba muntu nibakabe bansebendi.
and the enemies of a man are those of his household.
37 “Muntu wasunisha baishi ne banyina kupita ame, nkelela kuba shikwiya wakame sobwe. Kayi uyo wasunisha mwana mutuloba nambi mwana mutukashi kupita ame neye nkelela kuba shikwiya wakame.
He who is cherishing father or mother above Me, is not worthy of Me, and he who is cherishing son or daughter above Me, is not worthy of Me,
38 Alikane mwine, kayi alibambile kupeshewa, ne kufwa cebo ca kunkonkela.
and whoever does not receive his cross and follow after Me, is not worthy of Me.
39 Uliyense layandanga kupulusha buyumi bwakendi, nakabutaye, nsombi uyo latayanga buyumi bwakendi pacebo cakame, nakabucane nditu!
He who found his life will lose it, and he who lost his life for My sake will find it.
40 “Muntu lamutambulunga, latambulungame, nendi lantambulunga, latambulunga uyo walantuma.
He who is receiving you receives Me, and he who is receiving Me receives Him who sent Me;
41 Muntu latambulunga mushinshimi, pacebo cakwambeti ni mushinshimi, nakatambule cilambo ca mushinshimi. Latambulunga muntu walulama, pacebo cakwambeti walulama, nakatambule cilambo ca muntu walulama.
he who is receiving a prophet in the name of a prophet, will receive a prophet’s reward, and he who is receiving a righteous man in the name of a righteous man, will receive a righteous man’s reward,
42 Uliyense lapanga menshi atontola mu nkomeshi, kuli umo wa beshikwiya bakame, pacebo cakwambeti ni shikwiya wakame, cakubinga ndamwambilingeti, nendi nteti akalilwe kutambula cilambo camwelela.”
and whoever may give to drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, truly I say to you, he may not lose his reward.”
