Maliko 11
1 Mpobalashika ku Yelusalemu pepi ne minshi ya Betifagi ne Betani mumbali mwa mulundu wa Maolifi, Yesu walatuma beshikwiya babili.
And, when they are drawing near unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, towards the Mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, —
2 Ne kubambileti, “Kamuyani mu mushi ngomulabononga usa, mwengila nimucane mwanambongolo wasungwa, utana utantwapo ne muntu, mumusungulule mumulete kuno.
and saith unto them—Go your way into the village that is over against you, and, straightway, as ye are entering it, ye shall find a colt tied, upon which, no, man, yet, hath sat: loose him, and bring him.
3 Na muntu naumbi amwipusheti ingamula mutwalanga kupeyo, mumwambileti Mwami layandanga kumusebensesha, apwisha na mulete kayi.”
And, if anyone unto you should say—Why are ye doing this? say—The Lord, of him hath need; and, straightway, he sendeth him off again here.
4 Neco mpobalaya balacana mwanambongolo, kaliwasungililwa pa cishinga pepi ne nshila, nabo balamusungulula.
And they departed, and found a colt, tied unto a door outside, on the street, —and they are loosing him.
5 Bantu balikuba pepi balepusheti, “Inga mulamusungululwinga cani?”
And, certain of them that were there standing, were saying unto them—What are ye doing, loosing the colt?
6 Nabo balakumbula mbuli Yesu ncalabambila. Neco balabasuminisha beshikwiya.
and they said unto them as, Jesus, said, —and they let them go.
7 Nabo balamuleta mwanambongolo kuli Yesu, ne kubika cikwisa pa musana pa mwanambongolo kwambeti aikalepo Yesu.
And they bring the colt unto Jesus, and throw upon him their mantles, —and he took his seat upon him.
8 Bantu bangi balayansa bikwisa byabo panshila, nabambi balatimbula misampi yatutondo twamulibala.
And, many, spread out, their mantles, along the way, and, others, young branches, —cutting them out of the fields.
9 Bantu bonse balikuba pantangu ne abo balikuba kunyuma balatatika kubilikisheti, “Lesa alumbaishiwe! Lesa ape colwe uyo lesanga mulina lya Mwami.
And, they who were going before, and they who were following after, were crying aloud—Hosanna! Blessed, is he that is coming in the name of the Lord!
10 Lesa ape colwe Bwami bulesanga bwa Dafeti mushali wetu. Lesa wa Kwilu kumayoba alumbaishiwe!”
Blessed, is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!
11 Yesu mpwalashika mu Yelusalemu, walengila mu Ng'anda ya Lesa, ne kulanga langa byonse. Pakwinga calikuba kendi cindi ca mansailo, walapula ne kuya ku Betani pamo ne beshikwiya likumi ne babili.
And he entered into Jerusalem, into the temple, and, looking round on all things, late already being the hour, he went out into Bethany, with the twelve.
12 Mpobwalaca mumene Yesu walanyumfwa nsala pakufuma ku Betani.
And, on the morrow, when they came forth from Bethany, he hungered;
13 Kaciliko patali walabona citondo ca mukuyu cikute matewu, walaya pepi kwambeti abone mpani inga kacikute nkuyu, nsombi mpwalashika mwinshi walacaneti cikute matewu onka, pakwinga nkacalikuba cindi cakuba ne nkuyu.
and, seeing a fig-tree from afar, having leaves, he came… if, therefore, he should find aught in it, and, coming up to it, nothing, found he, save, leaves; for it was not, the season, of figs.
14 Neco, Yesu walacambileti, “Paliya muntu eshakalyeko nkuyu ku citondo ici!” Beshikwiya bakendi balamunyumfwa kambeco. (aiōn g165)
And, answering, he said unto it—No more, unto times age-abiding, let anyone of thee, eat fruit. And his disciples were listening. (aiōn g165)
15 Lino Yesu mpwalashika ku Yelusalemu walengila mu Ng'anda ya Lesa, ne kubatandanyamo bonse balikulishilamo makwebo. Walawisha matebulu ngobalikulishapo, ne bipuna mbyobalikuba bekalapo pakulisha nkulimba shabo.
And they come into Jerusalem. And, entering into the temple, he began to be casting out them who were selling and them who were buying in the temple, and, the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them who were selling doves, he overthrew, —
16 Uliyawa kusuminisha uliyense kupitila mu lubuwa lwa Ng'anda ya Lesa kaliwamanta kantu.
and was not suffering that anyone should carry a vessel through the temple;
17 Yesu waleyisha bantu ne kubambileti, “Sena nkacalembwa, ‘ng'anda ya kame nikakwiweti ng'anda yakupaililamo ya bantu bamishobo yonse.’ Nomba amwe mulaisandulu kuba mwakwikala bantu beshikulamuna banabo.”
and was teaching, and saying—Is it not written, My house, a house of prayer, shall be called, for all the nations? but, ye, have made it, A den of robbers.
18 Beshimilumbo bamakulene ne beshikwiyisha milawo ya Mose mpobalanyumfwa, balatatika kulangaula nshila ya kumushininamo Yesu, nomba balikumutina pacebo ca bantu abo balikukankamana ne njiyishilo yakendi.
And the High-priests and the Scribes, heard, it, and began seeking how they might, destroy, him, —for they were fearing him; for, all the multitude, were being struck with astonishment at his teaching.
19 Mpokwalashipuluka pa muntu ngulya, Yesu ne beshikwiya bakendi balafuma mu Yelusalemu.
And, as soon as it became late, they were going forth outside the city.
20 Cindi ncobalikwenda mushila mpobwalaca mumenemene, balabona citondo ca mukuyu cisa calanshinganwa ne Yesu kacili cayuma conse mpaka kumiyanda.
And, passing by early, they saw the fig-tree, withered from its roots;
21 Petulo walanuka calenshika, ne kumwambila Yesu, “Bashikwiyisha kamubonani citondo ca mukuyu ncomwashingana cilayumu”.
and, put in mind, Peter saith unto him—Rabbi! see! the fig-tree which thou didst curse, is withered.
22 Nendi Yesu walabakumbuleti, “Kamushomani muli Lesa.
And, answering, Jesus saith unto them—Have faith in God.
23 Cakubinga ndamwambilinga na muntu uwambila mulundu eti fuma apo mpobele, koya uliwale mu lwenje, kwamba kwakubula kutonshanya, nomba kali washometi ncalambanga ni cikenshike nditu nikenshike.
Verily, I say unto you—Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be lifted up, and cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that, what he speaketh, cometh to pass, it shall be his.
24 Pacebo ici, ndambilishingeti, mwapailinga ne kusenga cintu, shomani kubeti mulacitambula kendi, cili conse ncomulasengenga nimukapewe.”
For this cause, I say unto you—All things, whatsoever ye are praying for and asking, believe that ye have received, and they shall be yours.
25 “Mwatatikanga kupaila, lekelelani bonse bamwipishila kwambeti Lesa wakwilu nendi amulekeleleni bwipishi bonse.”
And, when ye stand praying, forgive, if aught ye have against any, —that, your Father also, who is in the heavens, may forgive you your offences.
26 Na mubula kulekelela banenu, naboyo Bameshenu bakwilu nkabela kumulekelela bwipisho bwenu.
27 Kayi Yesu mpwalaya ku Yelusalemu walengila mu Ng'anda ya Lesa ne kwendana mu lubuwa, beshimilumbo bamakulene, ne beshikwiyisha milawo ya Mose, ne bamakulene nabambi balesa kuli Yesu.
And they come again into Jerusalem. And, as he is walking in the temple, the High-priests and the Scribes and the Elders come unto him,
28 Balamwipusheti, “Mukute ngofu shilye coni shakwinsa cisa kwakubula kusuminishiwa? Niyani wakupa ngofu shakwinsa cisa?”
and were saying unto him—By what authority, these things, art thou doing? And who to thee hath given this authority that, these things, thou shouldst be doing?
29 Yesu walabakumbuleti, “Ndamwipushunga mwipusho umo, na mukumbule, nenjame nindi mwambile ngondashifunya ngofu shakwinsa bintu ibi.
But, Jesus, said unto them—I will question you, as to one matter, and answer me, —and I will tell you, by what authority, these things, I am doing:
30 Inga Yohane walashifunya kupeyo ngofu shakubatisha? Kuli Lesa nambi kubantu? Kamunkumbulani.”
The immersion by John, Of heaven, was it, or, of men? Answer me!
31 Balakangana pa lwambo bene ne kwambeti na tukumbuleti lwalafumina kwilu ku mayoba, nendi natwipusheti, “Inga mwalabulila cani kushoma ncalikwamba?”
And they were deliberating among themselves, saying—If we say, Of heaven, he will say, Wherefore [then] did ye not believe him?
32 Nomba nkatwela kwambeti, lwafumina kubantu. Pakwinga balikutina bantu, bonse balikuba bashoma kwambeti Yohane walikuba mushinshimi.
But, should we say, Of men…, they were in fear of the multitude, for, one and all, were holding John, in very deed, that he was, a prophet.
33 Neco mukumbulo wabo kuli Yesu walikuba wakwambeti, “Nkatucishi?” Neco Yesu walabakumbuleti, “Nenjame nteti ndimwambile nkondalashifunya ngofu shakwinsa cisa.”
And, making answer unto Jesus, they say—We know not; and Jesus saith unto them—Neither do, I, tell you, by what authority, these things, I am doing.
