Bagalatiya 5
1 Klistu walatulubula kwambeti tube basunguluka nditu. Lino kamwimana cituloba mukusunguluka kwenu, kayi kamutasuminanga kusungwa mubusha.
Stand firm, therefore, in the freedom with which Christ has made us free, and be not held fast again in the yoke of bondage.
2 Lino kamunyumfwishisha, ame Paulo ndamwambilingeti mwasumina kumupalulwa ekwambeti Klistu liyawa ncito kuli njamwe napacepe sobwe.
Behold, I Paul say to you, that if you be circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.
3 Kayi ndabweshengaponga kwambila muntu uliyense wapalulwa, kwambeti welela kukonkela Milawo yonse ya Mose.
I testify indeed again to every man that is circumcised, that he is bound to do the whole law.
4 Amwe mwense muleleshenga kuba balulama pakukonkela Milawo iyo, mulalifunyu mwenka kuli Klistu. Neco mulaba kunsa kwa kwinamoyo kwa Lesa.
You that are justified by law, have withdrawn from Christ: you have fallen from grace.
5 Lino afwe kupembelela kwetu nikwakwambeti Lesa nakatululamike, ico encotulapembelelenga mungofu sha Mushimu Uswepa ulasebensenga kupitila mu lushomo lwetu.
For we, through the Spirit which we obtain by faith, wait for the hope of righteousness.
6 Pakwinga pacindi mpotwekatana ne Klistu Yesu, kupalulwa nambi kutapalulwa byonse biliyawa ncito, cilayandikinga nikwambeti muntu abe ne lushomo ulo lukute kusebensa kupitila mu lusuno.
For, in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision avails any thing, nor uncircumcision, but faith that works by love.
7 Mwalikwinsa cena. Nomba walamukanisha niyani kukonka cancinencine? Nomba walacikonsha aconi kumukanisha?
You were running well; who kept you back from obedience to the truth?
8 Ibi bintu walabinsa nteyo Lesa walamukuwa sobwe.
This readiness to be persuaded is not from him that calls you.
9 “Tweshikufufumisha tung'anowa tukute kufufumusha shinkwa ense.”
A little leaven leavens the whole mass.
10 Ndashometi pacepo ca kwikatana ne Mwami nteshi mukabe ne miyeyo yapusana ne yakame. Nsombi muntu uliyense lamufulunganyanga nambi niyani, Lesa nakamupe cisubulo.
I have confidence in you through the Lord, that you will cultivate no other disposition: but he that troubles you, who ever he may be, shall bear his condemnation.
11 Nomba ame mobanse bame, na mpitilisha kukambauketi kupalulwa kulayandikinga, nomba ndapengelenga cani? Makani awa nali akubinga ekwambeti kukambauka kwakame sha lusanda lwa Yesu nshinga ne kulabulunga kukalalishowa Bayuda.
But, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why am I yet persecuted? Then, the offense of the cross has ceased.
12 Ngankondwa kwambeti abo balamufulunganyanga kabatabowa bapalulwa, nsombi kwambeti babelimo ngomwa.
that those who trouble you would even cut themselves off!
13 Lino amwe mobanse, Lesa walakuweti mube bantu basunguluka. Nsombi kamuchenjela kwambeti kusunguluka kwenu kakutaba mwakuyubila bwikalo bwenu bwa lunkumbwa lwakuyanda kwinsa byaipa. Nsombi amwe kamunyamfwananga mulusuno.
For you have been called to freedom, brethren: only use not your freedom as an occasion for the flesh, but become servants to one another, through love.
14 Pakwinga Milawo ya Lesa yonse yalabikwa mu Mulawo umo usa wakwambeti, “Usune munobe mbuli ncolisuni omwine.”
For all the law is fulfilled in one commandment, in this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
15 Nomba na mutatika kulingana ne kulumana, mbuli banyama, cenjelani ngamupwa kushinana.
But if you bite and devour one another, take heed lest you be utterly destroyed by one another.
16 Lino ncondambanga nici, lekani Mushimu Uswepa wendeleshe buyumi bwenu, mwenseco nteshi mukakonkele bintu bya lunkumbwa lwa bwikalo bwaipa bwa kusemwa nabo.
I say this: Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh.
17 Pakwinga bwikalo bwaipa bwa kusemwa nabo bukute kuyanda bintu Mushimu Uswepa mbyotasuni, kayi mbyosuni Mushimu Uswepa, bwikalo bwaipa bwakusemwa nabo nkaubisuni. Ibi bintu bibili byapelana cakwinseti nkamwela kwinsa bintu mbyomulandanga.
For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the desire of the Spirit is against flesh; and these are opposed, the one to the other, so that you can not do what you would.
18 Nsombi na Mushimu Uswepa eulamutangunininga nkamwela kubapo basha ba Milawo ya Mose sobwe.
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
19 Lino bintu bya bwikalo bwaipa bwakusemwa nabo bikute kubonekela patuba. Bintu ibyo nibi; Bufule ne kwinsa byaipa, ne kutalikanisha
Now the works of the flesh are well known, and they are these―lewdness, uncleanness, wantonness,
20 ne kukambilila tumbwanga ne buloshi ne kupatana ne kupusana ne minyono ne kupya moyo ne kulisuna ne kutekatishana ne kusalululana
idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strifes, jealousies, anger, party-spirit, divisions, sects,
21 ne kukumbwila ne bucakolwa ne kwinsa byaipa pa malyalya kayi ne bintu nabimbi. Neco ndamucenjeshenga mbuli ncondalensa kendi, kwambeti bantu bakute kwinsa bintu byamushoboyu nteshi bakatambuleko Bwami bwa Lesa sobwe.
envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; with respect to which, I tell you now, as I also told you in times past, that those who practice such things shall riot inherit the kingdom of God.
22 Nomba bisepo bya Mushimu Uswepa nibi; Lusuno ne kukondwa ne lumuno ne moyonteka ne kwina moyo ne kwina ne kushomeka,
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 ne kubomba moyo kayi ne kulikanisha. Kuliyawa mulawo wela kubikanisha bintu ibi.
meekness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
24 Abo bantu bakendi Yesu Klistu, bapopa pa lusanda bwikalo bwaipa bwakusemwa nabo pamo ne mbyokute kuyanda, kayi ne lunkumbwa lwaipa lonse.
Now those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 Mushimu Uswepa walatupa buyumi, neco katulekani wendeleshe buyumi bwetu.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Katutaba beshi kulitukumuna, nambi beshikukalalishana, nambi ba minyono umo ne munendi.
Let us not be vain-glorious, provoking one another, envying one another.
