Bakolose 2
1 Ndayandanga kumwishibisha ncito njondasebensenga cangofu cebo canjamwe bantu omuli ku Laodikaya ne bantu bonse batana bambonapo.
For I would have you know what a great conflict I have for you, and for those in Laodicea, and as many as have not seen me in person:
2 Ndayandangeti, bayuminishiwe nekwikatana pamo mu lusuno kwambeti bakapewe colwe ca kwishiba Klistu mwakwisulila. Cabeco mpobela kwishiba cena maswi a Lesa awo alikubula kwishibikwa ku bantu, awo alambanga sha Klistu.
that their hearts may be comforted, being knit together in love, and to all the riches of a full assurance of understanding in these things, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of our God and Father, and of Christ:
3 Muli Klistu emwasolekwa mano onse ne lwishibo.
in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
4 Ndamwambilingeti, kakutaba muntu naba umo weshikumupushika ne makani abuluya ngalambanga nambi kanyumfwiketi nakubinga.
And this I say, least any one should deceive you with fine speeches.
5 Nambi nkandipo nenjamwe kumubili ame ndamuyeyenga cindi conse. Ndakondwa kunyumfweti buyumi bwenu bwalumbuluka kayi lushomo lwenu lwayuma muli Klistu.
For though I be absent in body, yet am I with you in spirit, rejoicing and beholding your regularity, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
6 Pacebo cakumutambula Klistu Yesu kuba Mwami wenu, kamutaleka kwikatana nendiye.
Therefore as ye have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him;
7 Kamushimpani miyanda muli Klistu kayi abe pakwibakapo buyumi bwenu. Mube ne lushomo lwayuma mbuli ncomwalayishiwa, kayi kamulumbanga.
rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught it, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8 Muntu katamupushika ne maswi a ntota shabuluya ayo ela kunyumfwiketi amano, kakuli na biyisho bya mano abantu. Mano angofu sha pacishi capanshi, ntewo mano alambanga sha Klistu sobwe.
Take heed least any one make a prey of you by philosophy and vain deceit, according to the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ:
9 Pakwinga mumubili wa Klistu emwekala bulesa bonse.
for all the fulness of the deity dwelleth personally in Him.
10 Nenjamwe mulaba ne buyumi bwancine ncine kupitila mukwikatana nendiye, pakwinga nendi wapita bami ne bendeleshi bonse.
And ye are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
11 Pakwikatana ne Klistu nenjamwe mwalapalulwa, uku nteko kupalulwa kwakusebensesha makasa sobwe, nsombi ni kupalulwa kwakufulula bwikalo bwenu bwaipa mbomwalasemwa nabo. Uku ekupalulwa nkwakute kwinsa Klistu,
In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision not performed by hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision which is of Christ:
12 mpomwalabatishiwa mwalabeti mulabikwa pamo mumanda ne Klistu, kayi ne lubatisho lopelolo mwalapundushiwa pamo nendiye, pakushoma ngofu sha Lesa uyo walamupunndusha kubafu.
being buried with Him in baptism, wherein also ye are raised together with Him, through faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.
13 Amwe kaindi mwalikuba bafwa kumushimu cebo ca bwipishi, kayi mwalikuba bantu bakunsa babula milawo ya Mose. Nomba lino Lesa lamupani buyumi pakwikatana ne Klistu. Walatulekelela bwipishi bwetu bonse.
And when ye were dead in trespasses, and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
14 Walaitwamauna kalata ya nkongole yetu ilambanga sha Milawo ya Mose. Iyo kalata eyalikutupesha mulandu, nsombi neye walaifunya ne kwipopela pa lusanda.
and cancelled the obligation we were under by ritual decrees, which was grievous to us, and hath taken it quite away, even nailing it to his cross.
15 Neco, kupitila muli Klistu palusanda, Lesa walabalamuna byensho bami, ne mishimu ikute ngofu sha bwendeleshi. balawelulukwa pantangala, walabendesheti bakaili pamulongo ulasekelelenga kukoma kwakendi.
And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made them an open spectacle, triumphing over them by it.
16 Neco lino kamutasuminisha muntu uliyense kumombolosha pabintu mbyomwela kulya nambi kunwa nambi kusekelela kubala kwa mwenshi, nambi masuba akusekelela, nambi makani abusuba bwa Sabata,
Let no one therefore judge you on account of meat, or drink, or in respect of a feast, or a new-moon, or sabbaths;
17 pakwinga bintu byonsebi bilemaniningowa bintu bya kuntangu, byonse byacinka muli Klistu.
which are a shadow of good things to come, but the body is of Christ.
18 Neco kapataba muntu eshamukanishe kutambula cilambo. Nabo bakute kuyanda kulibonesheti balicepesha, bakambililanga bakute kulumbanya bangelo. basha moyo pa mbyobalabona mumaloto. Bakute kulisumpula pa bintu byabula ncito pakwinga nibeshikukonkela mano abantu,
Let no one deprive you of your reward by an affected humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into what he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his carnal mind;
19 batekatana ne Klistu mutwi wa mubungano. Nomba kupitila muli Klistu, mubili wonse ukute kutambula ngofu, ne kulumankanya mishisa mafupa pamo ne nshinga. Munshila ilico, mubili ukute kukula cena kwelana ne kuyanda kwa Lesa.
and not adhering to the head, from which all the body, being supplied and held together as by joints and bands, increaseth with the increase of God.
20 Mwalafwa pamo ne Klistu, neco nkamwela kubwelela kubwendeleshi bwa mishimu yapa cishi capanshi. Nipacebo cini mulenshingeti buyumi bucili bwacinka manungo mubintu byapanshi pano? Nipacebo cini mucikonkela milawo yakwambeti,
If therefore ye be dead with Christ from the elements of the world; why, as if living in the world, are ye subject to ceremonial ordinances,
21 “Kotekata ici kotalya ico kotakumya ici?
(such as "touch not, taste not,
22 Milawo iyi ne biyisho nibya bantu, kayi bikute kwambowa pa bintu bikute kupwa.
handle not," which all tend to corruption in the using, ) according to the commandments and doctrines of men?
23 Ee kulubasu nalumbi awo maswi akute kuboneketi a mano, pakwinga akute kwendelesha bantu mubintu bingi bya mobela kukambilila, ne kulicepesha kwabwepeshi, ne kupensha mubili wabo. Nomba milawo iyo iliya pindu, kayi nkakute kunyamfwa kupwisha lunkumbwa lwaipa lwa mubili.”
which things indeed have a pretence to wisdom in voluntary worship, and humiliation, and bodily penance, as having no regard to the satisfying of the flesh.
