1 Lino busuba nabumbi Petulo ne Yohane balikuya ku Ng'anda ya Lesa cindi ca 3 koloko mansailo, kuya kupaila.
And Peter and John went up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth.
2 Bantu nabambi balaleta muntu walasemwa kali mulema myendo. Masuba onse balikumubika pa cishinga ca Ng'anda ya Lesa, calikukwiweti “Cishinga Capa,” Kwambeti asengenga bantu balengilinga mu lubuwa lwa Ng'anda ya Lesa.
And a certain man, being lame from his mother's womb was habitually carried, whom they placed daily at the gate of the temple called Beautiful, to ask alms of those entering into the temple;
3 Uyu muntu mpwalabona Petulo ne Yohane kabengila mu lubuwa lwa Ng'anda ya Lesa, walabasengeti, “Kamumpako kantu.”
who seeing Peter and John about to come into the temple, asked to receive alms.
4 Balo balamulangishisha, popelapo Petulo walamwambileti, “Kotulangishisha!”
And Peter along with John, fixing his attention on him, said, Look unto us.
5 Nendi walabangishisha kayeyeti natambuleko kantu.
And he gave attention to them, expecting to receive something from them.
6 Nomba Petulo walamwambileti, “Mali ndiyawa, nsombi nindikupe cintu nconkute. Mu Lina lya Yesu Klistu waku Nasaleti, Imana wende!”
Peter said, Silver and gold do not belong to me; but I give thee that which I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, walk about.
7 Walamwikata kucikasa cakululyo, ne kumunyamfwilisha kwimana. Popelapo bimpanta ne tupondopashi twakendi twalayuma yuma.
And taking him by the right hand he raised him up; and immediately the bottoms of his feet and his ankle-bones were strengthened.
8 Walaulukila mwilu, walemana nji! ne kutatika kwenda kaculauka culauka, walengila mu lubuwa lwa Ng'anda ya Lesa pamo nendibo kalyendela mwine, katembaula Lesa.
And leaping out, he stood, and continued to walk around, and came into the temple with them, walking around and leaping, and praising God.
9 Bantu bonse balamubona kenda ne kutembaula Lesa.
And all the people saw him walking round and praising God.
10 Balamwinshibeti endiye walikwikala pa Cishinga Capa ca Ng'anda ya Lesa. Ici calenshika ku muntuyu calabakankamanisha ne kubapwisha mano.
And they recognized him, that he was the one sitting for alms at Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with astonishment and delight at that which had happened to him.
11 Bantu bonse, balakankamana kwine, balafwambila kumukushi walikukwiweti, “Mukushi wa Solomoni.” Uko kwalikuba Petulo ne Yohane, balacana usa muntu kali wabekatilila.
And he holding on to Peter and John; all the people ran together to them in the porch called Solomon's, exceedingly astonished.
12 Petulo mpwalaboneco walamba nabo bantu abo, walambeti, “Amwe Baislayeli mulakankamanangeconi? Mulatulangangeconi cisa eti muntuyu tulamwendeshe ne ngofu shetu tobene? Sena mulayeyengeti afwe njafwe tukute kupaila Lesa kupita amwe?
And Peter seeing them, responded to the people; Israelitish men, why are you astonished at this, or why do you look upon us as having by our own power or holiness, made this man to walk about?
13 Nteco ico sobwe, Lesa wa Abulahamu, Lesa wa Isake, Lesa Yakobo, kayi Lesa wa bamashali betu, elapa bulemeneno Yesu musebenshi wakendi. Amwe ngomwalatwala mu makasa a bendeleshi ne kumukana pamenso pa Pilato, nendi kayanda kumusungulula.
The God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, and the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Child, Jesus, who you indeed delivered up and denied before the face of Pilate having decided to release Him.
14 Nsombi mwalakana musebenshi washomeka kayi walulama, mwalasenga Pilato kwambeti, amusungulwile kapondo usa.
And you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and ask that a man who was a murderer should be delivered unto you,
15 Mwalashina citente ca buyumi, nsombi Lesa walamupundusha kubafu, kayi afwe tobakamboni pa makani awa.
and you slew the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, whose witnesses we are.
16 Muntuyu ngomulabononga kayi ngomwinshi, lashomo lina lya Yesu. Lushomo ndwakute muli Yesu, elulayumishi myendo yakendi, kwambeti abe cena, mbuli ncomulamubononga mwense.”
And through the faith of his name, his name hath made sound this one who you see and know, and through him faith has given unto him this soundness, in the presence of you all.
17 Kayi ndicinshi mobanse bame kwambeti, amwe ne batangunishi benu mwalensa ibi mwakubula kwinshiba.
And now, brethren, I know that you did it through ignorance, as did your rulers also;
18 Nomba Lesa walambilalimo kubashinshimi bonse kwambeti, Klistu nakapenshewe, neco walacikwanilisha ndendende.
and those things which God proclaimed through the mouth of all the prophets that his Christ should suffer, he hath thus fulfilled.
19 Neco shiyani bwipishi, bwelelani kuli Lesa kwambeti afunye bwipishi bwenu,
Repent, therefore, and turn, that your sins may be blotted out, in order that seasons of soul-renewing may come from the presence of the Lord,
20 na mwinseco, cindi cakatontoshi keshikufuma pamenso pa Mwami Lesa nikakamushikile, kayi nakamutumine Klistu Yesu uyo Lesa ngwalasalilalimo cebo ca njamwe.
and he may send forth Jesus, who has been preached unto you as the Christ,
21 Uyo nendi walatambulwa Kwilu mpaka kushika cindi cakubambulula bintu, mbuli Lesa ncalamba kupitila mubashinshimi bakendi bakulukulu bashomeka. (aiōn g165)
whom it behooves heaven indeed to receive until the times of the restitution of all things which God spoke through the mouth of all his prophets from the beginning. (aiōn g165)
22 Mose walambeti, Lesa Mwami wenu nakapundushepo umo pakati pabanse benu uyo eshakabe mushinshimi ulyeti ame. Mukamunyumfwilenga mbyeti akamwambilenga byonse.
Moses indeed said; The Lord our God will raise up to you from your brethren a prophet like unto me; Him you will hear concerning all things so many as he may speak to you.
23 Uliyense eshakabule kunyumfwila mushinshimi uyo nibakamufunye pa bantu ba Lesa ne kumononga.
And it shall come to pass, that every soul whosoever will not hear that prophet, shall be cut off from the people.
24 Bashinshimi bonse balikwambapo, kutatikila Samiyele, mpaka bashinshimi bonse balabako panyuma pakendi, balikukambauka sha masuba ano.
And indeed all the prophets from Samuel and consecutively, so many as spoke, also proclaimed these days.
25 Kushomesha kwa Lesa kupitila mubashinshimi bakendi nikwenu, kayi mukutemo lubasu mu cipangano ncalabamba Lesa ne bamashali benu bakulukulu. Mbuli ncalambila Abulahamu kwambeti, Kupitila mubashukulu bakobe, ninkape colwe mishobo yonse ya pacishi capanshi.
Ye are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, In thy seed shall the families of the earth be truly blessed.
26 Neco Lesa walasala musebenshi wakendi, cakutanguna walamutuma kuli njamwe, kwambeti amupe colwe pakunyamfwilisha uliyense kushiya nshila shakendi shaipa.
To you God, having first raised up his Son, sent him blessing you, in turning each one from your sins.
