1 Pamenso a Lesa ne Klistu Yesu, uyo lakesanga kombolosha bayumi ne bafwa, pakwinga lakesanga kali Mwami, ndakwambilinga mwangofu ndeti,
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 kambauka Mulumbe wa Lesa pa cindi bantu ncebalayandanga kukutika, ne pa cindi ncebatasuni kukutika. Balulamike nekubakalalila kayi ne kubayuminisha pakubeisha ca moyonteka.
Preach the word; be diligent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3 Cilakashikinga cindi nceti bakatatike kukana kwiyisha kwa ncine ncine, neco nibakayande beshikwiyisha bintu byelana ne mbyobalandanga kunyumfwa.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap up to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 Nibakakonkelengo'wa tulabi ne kukana kunyumfwa ca ncine ncine,
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned to fables.
5 obe kolilama mu bintu byonse, kotalefuka mumakatasho, sebensa ncito ya kukambauka Mulumbe Waina, kwanilisha ncito yakobe.
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
6 Ame ndili pepi kufwa. Buyumi bwakame bulyeti mulumbo uletilwanga pa nteme.
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 Ndalwana nkondo yaina, ndapwishi kufwamba lubilo kayi ndashomeke mpaka kumapwililisho.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Pa cino cindi munshini wa bululami ulampembelelenga uwo Mwami Lesa momboloshi walulama ngoshakampe pa busuba busa, nomba nteti akapo'wa ame ndenka, nsombi nakape bonse balapembelelenga kwisa kwakendi.
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but to all them also that love his appearing.
9 Fwambana kwisa kuno,
Do thy diligence to come shortly to me:
10 Dema layandishishi bintu bya mucishi lanshiyi waya ku Tesalonika. Kelesike waya ku Galatiya, neye Tito waya ku Dalamatiya, (aiōn g165)
For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and hath departed to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
11 Kuno ndili ne Luka enka. Pakwisa ukese pamo ne Maliko kwambeti akese akanyamfweko ncito.
Luke only is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
12 Tukiko ndamutuma ku Efenso.
And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.
13 Pakwisa ukandeteleleko munganjo ngondalashiya kuli Kalipo ku Tulowa, kayi ukaletelele asa mabuku akame abipaya.
The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.
14 Alekisandulo shatwela usa walanjinshila bintu byaipa, nsombi Mwami Lesa nakamubweshele byaipa.
Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:
15 Alekisandulo walikutoteka mulumbe ngotwali kukambauka, ne njobe ucenjele nendi.
Of whom beware thou also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.
16 Mpondali kulitabilisha pakomboloshewa pa cindi cakutanguna paliya walanyamfwa, bonse balamwaika. Nomba Lesa katabapa mulandu sobwe.
At my first defence no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
17 Nomba Lesa walikuba ne njame, walampa ngofu sha kukambauka mulumbe kwambeti bantu batamwishi Lesa, kayi ndalapuluka kulufu.
However the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18 Lesa nakamfune mu byaipa byonse ne kuntwala mu Bwami bwakendi bwa kwilu. Kulyendiye kube bulemu butapu! Ameni. (aiōn g165)
And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me to his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
19 Umpeleko mitende Pulisika ne Akula ne ba mung'anda ya Onesifolo.
Greet Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.

21 Ufwambane kwisa kuno kacitana cishika cindi ca mupewo. Yubulu, ne Puludensi, ne Linosi ne Kolodiyasi kayi ne banse bonse bashoma muli Mwami Klistu balamupanga mitende.
Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
22 Mwami abe nenjobe kayi kwina moyo kwakendi Lesa kube nenjamwe.
The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen. The second epistle to Timothy, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Ephesians, was written from Rome, when Paul was brought before Nero the second time.
