1 Njame, Paulo mutumwa wa Klistu Yesu kwelana ne kuyanda kwa Lesa, walatumwa kuya kukambauka sha buyumi mbwalatushomesha mukwikatana ne Klistu Yesu.

2 Ndalembelenga obe Timoti mwaname ngonsuni. ndasengengeti luse, nkumbo kayi ne lumuno lwa Lesa Bata ne Klistu Yesu Mwami wetu, bibe pali njobe.
to Timothy, my beloved child: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 Ndalumbunga Lesa ngondasebenselenga ne miyeyo yaswepa yabula mbuli bamashali bakame bakulukulu ncebalikwinsa. Ndalumbunga pakwinga nkandakulubunga mu mipailo yakame munshi ne mashiku sobwe.

4 Ndanuka ncewalikulila misoshi, nkute kuyanda kwisa kukubona kwambeti nkakondwe ca makasa abili.

6 Neco ndakwanushungeti usheko mano kucipo ca Lesa ncokute ico ncewalatambula pasa mpondalabika makasa akame pali njobe ucisosele mulilo.
For this cause, I remind you that you should stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
7 Pakwinga Lesa liya kutupa Mushimu wa buyowa sobwe, Mushimu wa Lesa ukute kutupa ngofu, nelusuno kwambeti tucikonshenga kulitibuka.
For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind.
8 Neco kotanyumfwanga nsoni kuba kamboni wa Mwami Yesu, nambi kunyumfwa nsoni cebo ca kwambeti ame ndasungwa muno mu jele, obe libambile kucana mapensho, nomba Lesa nakakupe ngofu shakukambauka Mulumbe Waina.
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but endure hardship for the Good News according to the power of God,
9 Walatupulusha ne kutukuwa kwambeti tube bantu bakendi, nkatwalikuba twelela kucitambula, nsombi bwalikuba bubambo ne nkumbo sha Lesa. nkumbo nshalatulesha kupitila mukwikatana ne Klistu Yesu kacitana cilengwa cindi. (aiōnios g166)

10 Lino Lesa walatuyubulwila ibi bintu mpwalaboneka Mupulushi wetu Klistu Yesu, nendi ewalapwisha ngofu sha lufu kupitila mu Mulumbe Waina, latwishibishi cena motwela kucanina buyumi butafu.

16 Nkumbo sha Lesa shibe mung'anda ya Onesifolo, pakwinga ewalikwisa kunjuminisha tunkanda twingi, kayi nkali kunyumfwa nsoni pakumbona kandi ndasungwa nshimbi mu jele.
