2 Bakolinto 1
1 Kalata ilafumunga kuli njame Paulo walasalwa ne Lesa kuba mutumwa wa Klistu Yesu ndi ne mukwetu Timoti, ndalembelenga ku mubungano wa bantu bashoma Lesa bali mu Kolinto ne kubanse bonse bali mucibela ca Akaya.
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, through the will of God, and Timotheus the brother, to the assembly of God that is in Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia:
2 Inkumbo ne lumuno lwa Lesa Ishetu ne Mwami Yesu Klistu bibe ne njamwe.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ!
3 Katumulumbaishani Lesa Baishi Mwami wetu Yesu Klistu Lesa wankumbo, Lesa ukute kutontosha mu nshila iliyonse,
Blessed [is] God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the mercies, and God of all comfort,
4 ukute kututontosha twaba ne mapensho kwambeti ne njafwe tucikonshe kutontosha banetu bali mu mapensho amushobo uliwonse, pakwinga ne njafwe Lesa latutontoshonga.
who is comforting us in all our tribulation, for our being able to comfort those in any tribulation through the comfort with which we are comforted ourselves by God;
5 Nambi tulakumananga ne mapensho angi pacebo ca Klistu, kayi tulatontoshewanga kupitila muli Klistu.
because, as the sufferings of the Christ do abound to us, so through the Christ doth abound also our comfort;
6 Mapensho ngotulakumananga nawo alamupanga katonto kwambeti mupuluke, na afwe katutontoshewa ne njamwe mwela kutontoshewa kwambeti, mucikonshe kwakoma mapensho awo ne njafwe ngotulakumananga nawo.
and whether we be in tribulation, [it is] for your comfort and salvation, that is wrought in the enduring of the same sufferings that we also suffer; whether we are comforted, [it is] for your comfort and salvation;
7 Neco kupembelela kwetu nkotukute muli njamwe nkakulatenkananga sobwe, pakwinga tucisheti mulakumananga ne mapensho akoshana ne ngotulakumananga nawo, ne njamwe ni mukacane kutontoshewa,
and our hope [is] stedfast for you, knowing that even as ye are partakers of the sufferings — so also of the comfort.
8 mobanse bame, tusuni kwambeti mwinshibe lipensho ndyotwalakumana nalyo mu cimpansha ca Asiya lyalikuba linene kayi lyalatulemena cakwinseti twalapwilwa mano.
For we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, of our tribulation that happened to us in Asia, that we were exceedingly burdened above [our] power, so that we despaired even of life;
9 Cakubinga mu myoyo yetu twalikunyumfweti tulatambulu kendi lombolosho lwakufwa. Ici calenshika kwambeti tuleke kulishoma tobene, nsombi kwambeti tushome Lesa uyo ukute kucikonsha kupundusha bafwa.
but we ourselves in ourselves the sentence of the death have had, that we may not be trusting on ourselves, but on God, who is raising the dead,
10 Walatufuna mu mapensho alikuyanda kututwala kulufu, kayi nakatufune, ndashoma kwambeti na tuloshomo nakatufune,
who out of so great a death did deliver us, and doth deliver, in whom we have hoped that even yet He will deliver;
11 mbuli ncomukute kutunyamfwa mu mipailo yenu, neco mipailo yabantu bangi pali njafwe nikakumbulwe ne Lesa, kayi Lesa nakatuleleke. Bantu bangi nibakalumbaishe Lesa.
ye working together also for us by your supplication, that the gift through many persons to us, through many may be thankfully acknowledged for us.
12 Lino pali cintu cilatupanga kulilumbanya tobene pakwinga miyeyo yetu ilatupanga bukamboni bwa kwambeti kulikonse nkotwalapita, makamaka pakati penu, tulenshi bintu byalulama, kayi munshila yashomeka kwelana ne luyando lwa Lesa. Nkatwali kutanguninwa ne mano a muntu sobwe, nsombi lwalikuba luse lwa Lesa.
For our glorying is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, we did conduct ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you;
13 Makalata ngotulamulembelenga nkashupa kwabelenga ne kwanyumfwishisha, nomba ne kukabeco mulanyumfwishishingowa mbasu imo pa bintu mbyotulamulembelenga,
for no other things do we write to you, but what ye either do read or also acknowledge, and I hope that also unto the end ye shall acknowledge,
14 nomba ndashoma kwambeti ku masuba akuntangu nimukanyumfwishishe. Pabusuba mbweshakese Mwami wetu Yesu Klistu, mwense nimukalilumbaishe cebo ca njafwe, ne njafwe tukalilumbaishe cebo ca njamwe.
according as also ye did acknowledge us in part, that your glory we are, even as also ye [are] ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus;
15 Cebo cakushoma kulico, ndayeyanga kwambeti ndimufwakashile nanshi, kwambeti mukapewe colwe mankanda abili.
and in this confidence I was purposing to come unto you before, that a second favour ye might have,
16 Ndayeyanga kwisa kumufwakashila ndakayanga ku Makedoniya kwambeti, pakufuma uko mukanyamfweko bintu bilayandikinga mu bulwendo bwakame bwa kuya ku Yudeya.
and through you to pass to Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come unto you, and by you to be sent forward to Judea.
17 Sena mulayeyengeti mpondalikuyeya sha kumufwakashila ndalikuyeyeti mwana wabula mano? sena ndilyeti muntu walisuna pakwinsa bintu, uyo wela kwambeti “Ee” Kayi eti “sobwe” Pacindi cimocimo?
This, therefore, counselling, did I then use the lightness; or the things that I counsel, according to the flesh do I counsel, that it may be with me Yes, yes, and No, no?
18 Mbuli Lesa ncatabepe bantu, ncendalamulaya nkacalikuba cakusankanya maswi akwambeti “Ee”Nambi “Sobwe.”
and God [is] faithful, that our word unto you became not Yes and No,
19 Pakwinga Klistu Yesu Mwanendi Lesa uyo ngotwalikukambauka ame ndekali Paulo, nambi Sailasi ne Timoti, nkalikuba wakwambeti “Ee” Nambi “Sobwe” Kuli njamwe, nsombi walikuba cindi conse “Ee” Wa Lesa.
for the Son of God, Jesus Christ, among you through us having been preached — through me and Silvanus and Timotheus — did not become Yes and No, but in him it hath become Yes;
20 Nambi malayano a Lesa afula aconi mulyendiye onse akute kuba “Ee” Ecebo cakendi ncotukute kwambileti, “Ameni” Pacindi ncotukute kulumbanya Lesa.
for as many as [are] promises of God, in him [are] the Yes, and in him the Amen, for glory to God through us;
21 Lesa eukute kulengesha kwambeti afwe ne njamwe tube bayuminina nta muli Klistu, kayi ewalatutuma.
and He who is confirming you with us into Christ, and did anoint us, [is] God,
22 Ewalatubika cando cakendi cakushomesha, kayi mumoyo wa muntu umo ne umo walatupa Mushimu Uswepa kubeti cishomesho ca bintu byeti bikese.
who also sealed us, and gave the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
23 Nomba Lesa ampe cisubulo na ame nkandambanga cancinencine, capesha kwambeti mbule kwisa ku Kolinto nicakwambeti kantakamukansa kayi.
And I for a witness on God do call upon my soul, that sparing you, I came not yet to Corinth;
24 Nkatulamukakatishinga bintu mbyomwela kushoma sobwe, pakwinga tucishi kwambeti mukute lushomo lwayuma. Neco njafwe basebenshi banenu pacebo ca kukondwa kwenu.
not that we are lords over your faith, but we are workers together with your joy, for by the faith ye stand.
