Rimljanom 2

1 Za to se ne moreš zagovarjati, o človek vsak, kterikoli sodiš; kajti v čemer sodiš drugega, sebe samega obsojaš, ker ravno tisto delaš, kteri sodiš.

Wherefore thou hast no excuse, O man, who judgest thy neighbour; for in that for which thou judgest thy neighbour, thou condemnest thyself; for in those which thou judgest, thou also art conversant.

2 Vemo pa, da sodba Božja prihaja po resnici na té, kteri taka dela delajo.

AND we know what is the judgment of Aloha in truth against them who in these things converse.

3 Jeli pač misliš to, o človek, kteri sodiš tiste, kteri taka dela delajo, a to delaš, da boš ti ubežal sodbi Božjej?

But thinkest thou, O man, who judgest them who in these converse, while thou also conversest in them, that thou wilt escape the judgment of Aloha?

4 Jeli bogastvo njegove dobrote in prizanesljivosti in potrpljivosti zaničuješ, ne vedoč, da te dobrota Božja na spokornost vodi?

Or upon the riches of his goodness, and upon his long-suffering, and upon the space he giveth thee, presumest thou? and knowest not that the goodness of Aloha unto repentance leadeth thee?

5 S svojo trdovratnostjo pa in z nepokornim srcem spravljaš sebi samemu jezo za dan jeze in razodetja pravične sodbe Boga,

Yet, through the hardness of thy unrepenting heart, layest thou up the treasure of wrath for the day of wrath, and the revelation of the just judgment of Aloha,

6 Kteri bo dal vsakemu po njegovih delih:

who rendereth to every man according to his works.

7 Tistim namreč, kteri s stanovitnostjo v dobrem delu slavo in čast in netrohljivost iščejo, večno življenje; (aiōnios g166)

To them who seek, in perseverance of good works, glory and honour and incorruption, he giveth eternal life; (aiōnios g166)

8 A prepirljivim in resnici nepokornim, krivici pa pokornim, srd in jezo.

but to them who are rebellious, and obey not the truth, but unrighteousness obey, he will render wrath and indignation

9 Stiska in zadrega na vsako dušo človeka, kteri hudo dela, najprej pa na Juda in Grka;

and affliction and distress, upon every man who worketh evils; to Jihudoyee first, and to Aramoyee;

10 A slava in čast in mir vsakemu, kteri dobro dela, najprej pa Judu in Grku:

but glory and honour and peace to every one who worketh good, to the Jihudoya first, and also to the Aramoya;

11 Ker Bog ne gleda, kdo je kdo.

for there is no acceptance of faces with Aloha.

12 Kajti kterikoli so brez postave pregrešili, brez postave bodo tudi poginili, in kterikoli so v postavi pregrešili, po postavi se bodo sodili,

For they who without the law have sinned, without the law also will perish: and they who in the law have sinned, by the law will be judged.

13 (Kajti kteri poslušajo postavo, niso pravični pred Bogom, nego kteri po postavi delajo, opravičili se bodo.

For not the hearers of the law are righteous before Aloha, but the doers of the law are justified.

14 Ker kedar pogani, kteri nimajo postave, po naravi, kar je postavno delajo, ti so, ne imajoč postave, sami sebi postava;

FOR if the Gentiles, who have not the law, from their nature shall perform the law, these, while not having the law, unto themselves become a law.

15 Kteri kažejo, da je delo po postavi zapisano v njih srcih, ker jim je vest za pričo in se misli med seboj tožijo ali tudi zagovarjajo),

And these show the work of law written upon their hearts, and their conscience testifieth of them, while their reasonings accuse or excuse one another;

16 Na dan, kedar bo sodil Bog skrivnosti ljudske, poleg mojega evangelja po Jezusu Kristusu.

in the day when Aloha judgeth the secrets of men according to my gospel by Jeshu Meshiha.

17 Glej, ti imaš ime Jud in naslanjaš se na postavo in hvališ se z Bogom,

But if thou (who) a Jihudoya art called, and reposest on the law, and boastest in Aloha,

18 In poznaš voljo in izbiraš, kar je bolje, ker si naučen od postave,

because thou knowest his will, and distinguishest the things that are fitting, because thou art learned from the law;

19 In si sam prepričan, da si vodnik slepih, svetlost tistih, kteri so v mraku,

and confidest upon thyself that thou art a guide of the blind, and a light to those who are in darkness,

20 Podučevalec nerazumnih, učitelj neučenih, imajoč obrazec znanja in resnice v postavi.

and an instructor of the wanting-in-mind, and a teacher of children, and hast a type of knowledge and of truth in the law:

21 Kteri torej učiš drugega, sebe li ne učiš? kteri oznanjaš, naj se ne krade, kradeš?

Thou, then, who teachest others, dost thou not teach thyself? and who preachest that men should not steal, dost thou steal?

22 Kteri govoriš, naj se ne prešestvuje, prešestvuješ? kteri odurjaš malike, svetišče okradaš?

and who sayest they should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? And thou who condemnest idols, dost thou despoil the sanctuary?

23 Kteri se hvališ s postavo, s prestopom postave Bogu nečast delaš?

And thou who boastest of the law, in this that thou transgressest against the law, Aloha himself despisest thou?

24 "Ker se ime Božje po vas preklinja med pogani," kakor je pisano.

For the name of Aloha through you is blasphemed among the Gentiles, as it is written.

25 Obreza je res da hasnovita, če po postavi delaš; če si pa prestopnik postave, postala je tvoja obreza neobreza.

For circumcision profiteth, if thou accomplish the law; but if thou transgress the law, thy circumcision is become uncircumcisedness.

26 Če torej obreza pravice postave varuje, ne bo li se njegova neobreza za obrezo vzela?

But if the uncircumcision shall keep the commandment of the law, is not uncircumcisedness reckoned to him (as) circumcision?

27 In sodila bo neobreza od narave, ktera postavo izpolnjuje, tebe s črko in obrezo prestopnika postave.

And the uncircumcision, who by nature accomplishes the law will judge thee, who with the scripture and with circumcision, transgressest against the law.

28 Kajti ni Jud, kteri je po zvunanjem Jud, tudi ni obreza, ktera je zvunaj na mesu,

FOR it is not in outwardness that he is a Jihudoya nor is that which is seen in the flesh circumcision:

29 Nego ta je Jud, kteri je znotraj in obreza srca v duhu, ne v črki, to je obreza; komur hvala ne od ljudî, nego od Boga,

but he is a Jihudoya who is one in inwardness; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not from the sons of men, but from Aloha.
