1 Priporočam vam pa Febo sestro našo, ktera je služabnica cerkve Kenhrejske,
I NOW commend unto you Phoebe our sister, who is a deaconess of the church which is at Cenchrea:
2 Da bi jo sprejeli v Gospodu spodobno za svete in jej pomogli, v kterejkoli stvari bi vas potrebovala, ker je tudi ona mnogim pomogla in tudi samemu meni.
that ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that you assist her in every matter wherein she may have need of you: for she hath also been a succourer of many, and of me myself.
3 Pozdravite Priscilo in Akvila pomagalca moja v Kristusu Jezusu,
Salute Priscilla and Aquila my fellow-labourers in Christ Jesus:
4 (Ktera sta za dušo mojo svoj vrat podvrgla; kterima se ne samo jaz zahvaljujem, nego tudi vse cerkve poganske),
(who for my life have laid down their own neck: to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles: )
5 In njih domačo cerkev. Pozdravite Epeneta, ljubljenega mojega, kteri je prvina iz Ahaje v Kristusu.
and the church which is in their house. Salute Epinetus my beloved, who is the first-fruits of Achaia unto Christ.
6 Pozdravite Marijo, ktera se je mnogo potrudila za nas;
Salute Mary, who laboured in many things to serve us.
7 Pozdravite Andronika in Junija, moja sorodnika in moja sojetnika, ktera sta znamenita med aposteljni, ktera sta tudi bila pred menoj v Kristusu.
Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and fellow-prisoners, who are eminent among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.
8 Pozdravite Amplija, ljubljenega mojega v Gospodu;
Salute Amplias my beloved in the Lord.
9 Pozdravite Urbana, pomagalca našega v Kristusu, in Stahija, ljubljenega mojega,
Salute Urban, our fellow-labourer in Christ, and Stachys my beloved.
10 Pozdravite Apela, izkušenega v Kristusu, pozdravite domače Aristobulove;
Salute Apelles the approved in Christ. Salute those who are of the family of Aristobulus.
11 Pozdravite Herodijona, sorodnika mojega. Pozdravite domače Narcisove, kteri so v Gospodu.
Salute Herodion my kinsman. Salute those which belong to the family of Narcissus, who are in the Lord.
12 Pozdravite Trifeno in Trifoso, kteri sta se potrudili v Gospodu. Pozdravite Persido ljubljeno, ktera se je mnogo potrudila v Gospodu.
Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who have laboured hard in the Lord. Salute Persis the beloved, who laboured much in the Lord.
13 Pozdravite Rufa, izbranega v Gospodu, in mater njegovo in mojo.
Salute Rufus elect in the Lord, and his mother and mine.
14 Pozdravite Asinkrita, Flegonta, Herma, Patroba, Hermeja in brate, kteri so ž njimi.
Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Dermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren which are with them.
15 Pozdravite Filologa in Julijo, Nereja in sestro njegovo in Olimpana in vse svete, kteri so ž njimi.
Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints with them.
16 Pozdravite eden drugega v poljubku svetem. Pozdravljajo vas cerkve Kristusove.
Salute one another with the holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.
17 Prosim vas pa, bratje, da gledate na tiste, kteri delajo razpore in pohujšanja proti nauku, kterega ste se vi naučili in izognite se jim.
Now I beseech you, brethren, keep a sharp eye over those who cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine ye have learned, and turn away from them.
18 Kajti taki Gospodu našemu Jezusu Kristusu ne služijo, nego svojemu trebuhu, in z dobrikavim govorom in lepo besedo prekanjujejo srca nehudobnih,
For such are not servants to our Lord Jesus Christ, but to their own belly; and by smooth speeches and flattering commendations deceive the hearts of the guileless.
19 Ker se je vaša poslušnost razšla med vse. Radujem se torej nad vami, pa hočem, da ste modri za dobro, a priprosti za hudo.
For your obedience is gone forth in report to all men. I rejoice therefore on your account: but I wish you to be wise indeed unto good, but harmless respecting evil.
20 Bog mira pak bo potrl satana pod vašimi nogami v hitrem. Milost Gospoda našega Jezusa Kristusa z vami! Amen.
Now the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

23 Pozdravlja vas Gaj, gostilnik moj in vse cerkve. Pozdravlja vas Erast, mestni ključar, in Kvart brat.
Gaius mine host, and of the whole church, saluteth you. Erastus the chamberlain of the city saluteth you, and Quartus a brother.
24 Milost Gospoda našega Jezusa Kristusa z vsemi vami! Amen.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
