Psalmi 99
1 Gospod kraljuje, trepetajo naj ljudstva, sedeč na Kerubih kraljuje, majaj se zemlja!
A Psalm of David. The Lord reigns; —let the people rage; [it is he] that sits upon the cherubs, let the earth be moved.
2 Kraljuje Gospod na Sijonu velik, in visok je nad vsa ljudstva.
The Lord is great in Sion, and is high over all the people.
3 Slavé naj ime tvoje veliko, čestito je in sveto.
Let them give thanks to your great name; for it is terrible and holy.
4 Ti tudi kralj premočni, ki ljubiš sodbo; ti ustanavljaš, kar je pravično; sodbo in pravico doprinašaš ti v Jakobu.
And the king's honor loves judgment; you have prepared equity, you have wrought judgment and justice in Jacob.
5 Povišujte Gospoda, Boga našega, in priklanjajte se do podnožja nog njegovih; ker svet je.
Exalt you the Lord our God, and worship [at] his footstool; for he is holy.
6 Mojzesa in Arona z duhovniki svojimi in Samuela z njimi, ki so klicali ime njegovo, uslišal je Gospod, takoj ko so ga klicali.
Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he heard them.
7 V oblačnem stebru jih je ogovoril, ko so hranili pričanja njegova, in postavo, katero jim je bil dal.
He spoke to them in a pillar of cloud; they kept his testimonies, and the ordinances which he gave them.
O Lord our God, you heard them; O God, you became propitious to them, though you did take vengeance on all their devices.
Exalt you the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the Lord our God is holy.
