Psalmi 116
1 Dovolj mi je, da Gospod usliši glas moj, molitve moje.
I 'ahav ·affectionately love· Adonai, because he sh'ma ·hears obeys· my voice, and my cries for mercy.
2 Ker je uho svoje nagnil meni, zatorej ga bodem klical svoje dni.

4 Če kličem ime Gospodovo, govoreč: "Rotim te, Gospod, reši dušo mojo!"
Then I called on Adonai’s name: “Adonai, I beg you, deliver my soul.”
5 Milosten je Gospod, in pravičen, Bog naš, pravim, usmiljen.
Adonai is gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is racham ·merciful love·.
6 Preproste rešuje Gospod; ko sem ponižan, prinese mi blaginjo.
Adonai preserves the simple. I was brought low, and he saved me.
7 Povrni se v pokoj svoj, duša moja, ker Gospod je dobrotljiv tebi.
Teshuvah ·Completely return· to your rest, my soul, for Adonai has dealt bountifully with you.
8 Ker si otél mene samega smrti, oči moje sólz, nogo mojo padca,
For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 Neprestano bodem hodil pred Gospodom, v krajih živečih.
I will walk before Adonai in the land of the living.
10 Veroval sem, ko sem hotel to govoriti; jaz sem bil aboten čez mero.
I trusted, therefore I said, “I was greatly afflicted.”
11 Jaz sem rekel hiteč: Vsak človek je lažnjiv.
I said in my haste, “All men are liars.”
12 Kaj naj povrnem Gospodu? Vse dobrote njegove me premagujejo.
What will I give to Adonai for all his benefits toward me?
13 Čašo vse blaginje bodem povzdignil in slavil ime Gospodovo,
I will take the cup of yishu'ah ·salvation·, and call on Adonai’s name.
14 Obljube svoje opravljajoč Gospodu, skôraj pred vsem ljudstvom njegovim.
I will pay my vows to Adonai, yes, in the presence of all his people.
15 Draga je pred obličjem Gospodovim smrt njih, katerim izkazuje milost.
Precious in Adonai’s sight is the death of his saints.
16 Prosim, Gospod, ko sem jaz hlapec tvoj, hlapec tvoj sem, dekle tvoje sin; raztrgal si vezí moje:
Adonai, truly I am your servant. I am your servant, the son of your servant. You have freed me from my chains.
17 Tebi naj darujem hvalno daritev, in slavim ime Gospodovo.
I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call on Adonai’s name.
18 Obljube svoje bodem opravljal Gospodu skoraj pred vsem ljudstvom njegovim;
I will pay my vows to Adonai, yes, in the presence of all his people,
19 V vežah hiše Gospodove, sredi tebe, Jeruzalem. Aleluja!
in the courts of Adonai’s house, in the middle of you, Jerusalem [City of peace]. Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
