2 Korinčanom 11
1 O da bi me trpeli malo v mojej nespameti, pa saj me tudi trpite!
I WISH ye would bear with me a little in my foolishness, yea indeed bear with me.
2 Kajti vnet sem za vas z Božjo vnetostjo, ker sem vas zagovoril enemu možu, da devico čisto privedem Kristusu;
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy; for I have espoused you to one husband, to present you a chaste virgin to Christ.
3 Ali se bojim, da se ne bi kako, kakor je kača Evo ukanila z zvijačo svojo, tako tudi pokvarile misli vaše od priprostosti, ktera je v Kristusu.
But I fear lest as the serpent beguiled Eve by his craftiness, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity which belongs to Christ.
4 Kajti ko bi ta, kteri prihaja, drugega Jezusa oznanjeval, kterega nismo oznanili, ali bi drugega duha prejemali, kterega niste prejeli, lepo bi trpeli.
For if he indeed that cometh preach another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not embraced, ye might well bear with him.
5 Ker mislim, da v ničemer nisem manjši od prevelikih aposteljnov.
For I reckon myself to be nothing inferior to the very chief of the apostles.
6 Kajti če tudi sem neuk v govoru, vendar nisem v znanji: ali v vsem smo znani pri vseh med vami.
For though I may be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but on every occasion we have been made manifest in all things among you.
7 Jeli sem greh storil sam sebe ponižujoč, da se vi povišate, da sem vam zastonj Božji evangelj oznanil?
Am I chargeable with a fault (humbling myself that you might be exalted), that I preached to you the gospel of God freely?
8 Druge cerkve sem slekel vzemši plačo na službo vam, in ko sem prišel k vam in bil ubog, nisem bil nikomur nadležen;
I plundered other churches, receiving a provision from them, in order to minister to you.
9 Kajti moje uboštvo so nadopolnili bratje, kteri so prišli od Macedonije, in v vsem brez teže vam sem se zdržal in bom se držal.
And when I was with you, and in want, I was burdensome to no man; for my want the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied; and on every occasion I have kept myself from being burdensome, and will keep myself.
10 Je resnica Kristusova v meni, da mi se ta hvala ne bo zadelala v krajih Ahajskih.
I protest, by the truth of Christ in me, that from this boasting no man shall seal up my lips in the regions of Achaia.
11 Za kaj? ker vas ne ljubim? Bog ve.
Wherefore? Because I love you not? God knoweth.
12 Kar pa delam, to bom tudi delal, da odsečem priložnost tistim, kteri priložnost hočejo, da bi se, v čemer se hvalijo, našli taki, kakor tudi mi.
But what I do, I will do also, that I may cut off occasion from those who desire occasion, that wherein they boast, they may be found even as we.
13 Kajti taki so krivi aposteljni, ukanljivi delalci, premenjajoči se v aposteljne Kristusove,
For such are fake apostles, deceitful labourers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
14 In ni čuda, kajti sam satan se premenja v angelje svetlobe.
And no marvel! For Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Ni torej nič velikega, če se tudi služabniki njegovi premenjajo v služabnike pravice, kterih konec bo poleg njih del.
It is no wonder therefore if his ministers also be transformed as ministers of righteousness; whose end will be according to their works.
16 Zopet pravim: Nikdor naj ne misli, da sem nespameten; če pa ne, pa me sprejemite kakor nespametnega, da se nemalo tudi jaz pohvalim.
I repeat it again, Let no man suppose that I am a fool; but if otherwise, then as a fool receive me, that I too may boast myself a little.
17 Kar govorim, ne govorim po Gospodu, nego kakor v nespameti, v tej stanovitnosti hvale.
What I speak, I speak not after the Lord, but as it were in folly in this confidence of boasting.
18 Ko se mnogi hvalijo po mesu, hvalil se bom tudi jaz.
Seeing many boast themselves after the flesh, I will boast also.
19 Kajti radi trpite nespametne, ko ste sami pametni;
For ye bear with fools easily when you are wise yourselves.
20 Ker trpite, če vas kdo usužnjuje, če kdo pojeda, če kdo jemlje, če se kdo povzdiguje, če vas kdo v lice bije.
For ye bear if a man enslave you, if a man eat you up, if a man receive from you, if a man is insolent, if a man smite you on the face.
21 Po nečasti pravim, ker kakor da smo mi oslabeli. V čemer je pa kdo drzen, (po nespameti govorim), drzen sem tudi jaz.
I speak with reference to the reproach cast on me, as though we were feeble; but wherein any man is bold (I speak in foolishness), I am bold also.
22 Hebrejci so? tudi jaz sem; Izraelci so? tudi jaz sem; seme Abrahamovo so? tudi jaz sem;
Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.
23 Služabniki Kristusovi so? (ne govorim po pameti), še bolje sem jaz: v trudih obilneje, v udarcih neizmerneje, v ječah obilneje, v smrti mnogi krat.
Are they the ministers of Christ? (I speak foolishly) I am above them: in labours more abundantly, in stripes exceedingly more, in prisons more frequently, in the most immediate danger of death often.
24 Od Judov sem jih dobil pet krat štirideset brez ene,
Of the Jews five times I have received forty stripes save one.
25 Tri krat sem bil izšiban, en krat kamenovan, trikrat se je z menoj ladja razbila, noč in dan sem v globočini prebil.
Thrice I have been scourged with rods, once I have been stoned, thrice I have suffered shipwreck, a whole night and day I have passed in the deep;
26 Potoval sem mnogi krat, bil sem v nevarnostih od vod, v nevarnostih od razbojnikov, v nevarnostih od rodovine, v nevarnostih od poganov, v nevarnostih v mestu, v nevarnostih v puščavi, v nevarnostih na morji, v nevarnostih med krivimi brati;
in journeyings often, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from my own countrymen, in perils from the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the desert, in perils on the sea, in perils among false brethren;
27 V trudu in težavi, dosti krat v nespavanji, v lakoti in žeji, velikokrat v postu, v mrazu in goloti,
in labour and travail, in watchings often, in fastings frequently, in hunger and thirst, in cold and nakedness;
28 Brez tega, kar je zvun tega: prihajanje ljudi k meni vsak dan, skrb za vse cerkve.
and beside all these things from without, that accumulated burden which cometh on me daily, the care of all the churches.
29 Kdo oslabi, da bi tudi jaz ne oslabel? Kdo se pohujšuje, da bi tudi mene ne skelelo?
Who is feeble, and am I not feeble? Who is offended, and am I not on fire?
30 Če se je treba hvaliti, s svojo slabostjo se bom hvalil.
If I must glory, I will glory in the things which respect my infirmities.
31 Bog in oče Gospoda našega Jezusa Kristusa, kteri je blagoslovljen na veke, ve, da ne lažem. (aiōn g165)
The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not. (aiōn g165)
32 V Damasku je dal namestnik kralja Areta stražiti Damaščansko mesto ter me je hotel vjeti,
In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king guarded the city of the Damascenes, intending to seize me;
33 In skozi okno v košari so me po zidu spustili in izbegnil sem iz njegovih rok.
and through a window in a basket I was let down by the wall, and escaped out of his hands.
