Zaharija 3

1 Pokazal mi je Ješúa, vélikega duhovnika, stati pred Gospodovim angelom in Satana, stoječega na njegovi desnici, da se mu upira.

And he shewed me, Joshua the high priest, standing before the messenger of Yahweh, —and, the Accuser, standing at his right hand, to accuse him.

2 Gospod je rekel Satanu: » Gospod te oštej, oh Satan. Celó Gospod, ki je izbral Jeruzalem, naj te ošteje. Mar ni to ogorek, potegnjen iz ognja?«

Then said Yahweh unto the Accuser, Yahweh rebuke thee, O Accuser, Yea Yahweh rebuke thee, he who is choosing Jerusalem, —Is not, this, a brand snatched out of the fire?

3 Torej Ješúa je bil oblečen v umazane obleke in stal pred angelom.

Now, Joshua, was clothed with filthy garments, —though standing before the messenger.

4 Odgovoril je in spregovoril tistim, ki so stali pred njim, rekoč: »Odvzemite umazane obleke z njega.« Rekel mu je: »Glej, tvoji krivičnosti sem velel, da gre od tebe in oblekel te bom z zamenjavo oblačil.«

Then responded he and spake unto those who were standing before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from off him; and he said unto him, See! I have caused to pass from off thee, thine iniquity, And will cause thee to be clothed in robes of state.

5 Rekel sem: »Naj na njegovo glavo postavijo lep turban.« Tako so na njegovo glavo postavili lep turban in ga oblekli z oblekami. In Gospodov angel je stal poleg.

Then said I, Let them put a clean turban upon his head, —So they put the clean turban upon his head, and clothed him with garments, and, the messenger of Yahweh, was standing up.

6 Gospodov angel je izpričal Ješúu, rekoč:

So then the messenger of Yahweh did solemnly affirm unto Joshua, saying:

7 »Tako govori Gospod nad bojevniki: ›Če se boš ravnal po mojih poteh in če se boš držal moje zadolžitve, potem boš sodil tudi mojo hišo in se boš držal mojih dvorov in dal ti bom prostore za hojo med tistimi, ki stojijo poleg.

Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, If, in my ways, thou wilt walk, and if, of my charge, thou wilt keep charge, Then, even thou, shalt govern my house, Moreover also, thou shalt have charge of my courts, —and I will give thee free access among these who stand by.

8 Poslušaj sedaj, oh Ješúa, véliki duhovnik, ti in tvoji tovariši, ki sedijo pred teboj, kajti oni so ljudje čudenja. Kajti, glej, privedel bom svojega služabnika MLADIKO.

Hear, I pray thee, O Joshua the high priest, thou and thy friends who are sitting before thee, for, men to serve as signs, they are, —For behold me! bringing in my servant, the Bud;

9 Kajti poglej, kamen, ki sem ga položil pred Ješúa. Na enem kamnu bo sedem oči. Glej, vrezal bom graviranje le-tega, « govori Gospod nad bojevniki »in krivičnost te dežele bom odstranil v enem dnevu.

For lo! the stone which I have set before Joshua, Upon one stone, are Seven (pairs of) Eyes, —Behold me! cutting the engraving thereof, declareth Yahweh of hosts. So will I take away the iniquity of that land in one day.

10 Na ta dan, « govori Gospod nad bojevniki, »boste vabili vsakdo svojega soseda pod trto in pod figovo drevo.«

In that day, declareth Yahweh of hosts, Ye shall invite one another, —[to come] under the vine and under the fig-tree.
