Psalmi 99

1 Gospod kraljuje; naj ljudstva trepetajo. On sedi med kerubi; naj bo zemlja omajana.

Adonai reigns! Let the peoples tremble. He sits enthroned among the cherubim. Let the earth be moved.

2 Gospod je velik na Sionu; visoko je nad vsemi ljudstvi.

Adonai is great in Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]. He is high above all the peoples.

3 Naj hvalijo tvoje veliko in strašno ime, kajti sveto je.

Let them yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to your great and awesome name. He is Holy!

4 Kraljeva moč ljubi tudi sodbo. Ti utrjuješ nepristranskost, izvršuješ sodbo in pravičnost v Jakobu.

The King’s strength also 'ahav ·affectionately loves· mishpat ·justice·. You do establish equity. You execute mishpat ·justice· and righteousness in Jacob [Supplanter].

5 Povišujte Gospoda, našega Boga in obožujte pri njegovi pručki, kajti on je svet.

Exalt Yahweh Eloheikhem [Yahweh our God]. Hawa ·Bow low, prostrate· to worship at his footstool. He is Holy!

6 Mojzes in Aron med njegovimi duhovniki in Samuel med tistimi, ki kličejo njegovo ime; klicali so Gospoda in jim je odgovoril.

Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer] were among his priests, Samuel among those who call on his name; they called on Adonai, and he answered them.

7 Govoril jim je v oblačnem stebru; držali so se njegovih pričevanj in odredbe, ki jim jo je dal.

He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud. They kept his testimonies, the statute that he gave them.

8 Ti jim odgovarjaš, oh Gospod, naš Bog. Bil si jim Bog, ki odpušča, čeprav se maščuješ njihovim domiselnostim.

You answered them, Yahweh Eloheikhem [Yahweh our God]. You are a God who forgave them, although you took vengeance for their doings.

9 Povišujte Gospoda, našega Boga in obožujte ga pri njegovi sveti gori, kajti Gospod, naš Bog, je svet.

Exalt Adonai, our God. Hawa ·Bow low, prostrate· to worship at his holy hill, for Adonai, our God, is holy!
