Psalmi 96
1 Oh pojte Gospodu novo pesem, pojte Gospodu, vsa zemlja.
Singe ye a newe song to the Lord; al erthe, synge ye to the Lord.
2 Prepevajte Gospodu, blagoslavljajte njegovo ime; iz dneva v dan naznanjajte njegovo rešitev duš.
Synge ye to the Lord, and blesse ye his name; telle ye his heelthe fro dai in to dai.
3 Oznanjajte njegovo slavo med pogani, njegove čudeže med vsemi ljudstvi.
Telle ye his glorie among hethene men; hise merueilis among alle puplis.
4 Kajti Gospod je velik in silno bodi hvaljen; njega se je treba bati nad vsemi bogovi.
For the Lord is greet, and worthi to be preisid ful myche; he is ferdful aboue alle goddis.
5 Kajti vsi bogovi narodov so maliki, toda Gospod je naredil nebo.
For alle the goddis of hethene men ben feendis; but the Lord made heuenes.
6 Čast in veličanstvo sta pred njim; moč in lepota sta v njegovem svetišču.
Knouleching and fairnesse is in his siyt; hoolynesse and worthi doyng is in his halewing.
7 Dajajte Gospodu, oh sorodstva ljudstev, dajajte Gospodu slavo in moč.
Ye cuntrees of hethene men, brynge to the Lord, bringe ye glorye and onour to the Lord;
8 Dajajte Gospodu slavo, primerno njegovemu imenu; prinesite daritev in pridite v njegove dvore.
bringe ye to the Lord glorie to hys name. Take ye sacrificis, and entre ye in to the hallis of hym;
9 Oh obožujte Gospoda v lepoti svetosti. Trepetaj pred njim, vsa zemlja!
herie ye the Lord in his hooli halle. Al erthe be moued of his face;
10 Govorite med pogani, da Gospod kraljuje. Tudi zemeljski [krog] bo utrjen, da ne bo omajan. Ljudstva bo sodil pravično.
seie ye among hethene men, that the Lord hath regned. And he hath amendid the world, that schal not be moued; he schal deme puplis in equite.
11 Naj se nebo veseli in naj bo zemlja vesela; naj morje buči in njegova polnost.
Heuenes be glad, and the erthe make ful out ioye, the see and the fulnesse therof be moued togidere; feeldis schulen make ioye,
12 Naj bo polje radostno in vse, kar je tam. Potem se bodo vsa gozdna drevesa veselila
and alle thingis that ben in tho. Thanne alle the trees of wodis schulen make ful out ioye, for the face of the Lord, for he cometh;
13 pred Gospodom, kajti on prihaja, kajti on prihaja, da sodi zemljo. S pravičnostjo bo sodil zemeljski [krog] in ljudstva s svojo resnico.
