Psalmi 93

1 Gospod kraljuje, oblečen je z veličanstvom; Gospod je oblečen z močjo, s katero se je opasal. Tudi zemeljski [krog] je utrdil, da ne more biti omajan.

Yahweh, you are the King! You are majestic, and the power that you have is [like] [MET] a robe that a king wears. You put the world firmly in place, and it will never be moved/shaken.

2 Tvoj prestol je utrjen od davnine. Ti si od večnosti.

You ruled as king a very long time ago; you have always existed.

3 Reke so se dvignile, oh Gospod, reke so povzdignile svoj glas, reke so dvignile svoje valove.

Yahweh, [when you created the world, you separated] the water from [the chaotic mass and formed oceans], and the waves of the waters [of those oceans] still roar,

4 Gospod na višavi je mogočnejši kakor glas mnogih vodá, da, kakor mogočni valovi morja.

[but] you are greater than the roar of those oceans, more powerful than the ocean waves! You are Yahweh, the one who is greater than any other god!

5 Tvoja pričevanja so zelo zanesljiva. Svetost se spodobi tvoji hiši, oh Gospod, na veke.

Yahweh, your laws never change, and your temple has always been holy/sacred. And that will be true forever.
