1 Bog je naše zatočišče in moč, v stiski zelo navzoča pomoč.

2 Zato se ne bomo bali, četudi se bo zemlja odstranila in četudi bodo gore odnesene v sredo morja.
So we will not be afraid though the earth shakes, though the mountains fall into the depths of the sea,
3 Četudi njegove vode bučijo in so vzburkane, četudi se z naraščanjem le-teh tresejo gore. (Sela)
though the waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble as the waters surge violently! (Selah)
4 Tam je reka, katere vodni tokovi bodo razveselili Božje mesto, sveti kraj šotorskih svetišč Najvišjega.
A river flows to bring happiness to those in God's city, the holy place where the Most High lives.
5 Bog je v njegovi sredi, le-to ne bo omajano. Bog mu bo pomagal in to prav zgodaj.
God is in the midst of the city; it will never fall. God protects it as soon as it is light.
6 Pogani so besneli, kraljestva so bila premaknjena. Izustil je svoj glas, zemlja se je stopila.
Nations are in turmoil, kingdoms collapse. God raises his voice and the earth melts.
7 Gospod nad bojevniki je z nami, Bog Jakobov je naše zatočišče. (Sela)
The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob protects us. (Selah)
8 Pridite, glejte Gospodova dela, kakšna opustošenja je storil na zemlji.
Come and see what the Lord has achieved! See the amazing things he has done on the earth!
9 Vojnam dela, da se končajo do konca zemlje, lomi lok in sulico preseka na dvoje, bojni voz zažiga v ognju.
He stops wars all over the world. He smashes the bow; he breaks the spear; he sets shields on fire.
10 Bodite mirni in védite, da sem jaz Bog. Povišan bom med pogani, povišan bom na zemlji.
Stop fighting! Recognize I am God! I am the ruler of the nations; I am the ruler of the earth.
