Psalmi 25
1 K tebi, oh Gospod, vzdigujem svojo dušo.
A Psalme of David. Unto thee, O Lord, lift I vp my soule.
2 Oh moj Bog, jaz zaupam vate. Naj ne bom osramočen, naj moji sovražniki ne slavijo zmage nad menoj.
My God, I trust in thee: let me not be confounded: let not mine enemies reioyce ouer mee.
3 Da, naj ne bo osramočen nihče, ki čaka nate. Naj bodo osramočeni, ki se pregrešijo brez razloga.
So all that hope in thee, shall not be ashamed: but let them be confounded, that transgresse without cause.
4 Pokaži mi svoje poti, oh Gospod, úči me svojih stezá.
Shew me thy waies, O Lord, and teache me thy paths.
5 Vodi me v svoji resnici in me úči, kajti ti si Bog rešitve moje duše, nate čakam ves dan.
Leade me foorth in thy trueth, and teache me: for thou art the God of my saluation: in thee doe I trust all the day.
6 Spomni se, oh Gospod, svojih nežnih usmiljenj in svojih ljubečih skrbnosti, kajti bile so vedno, od davnine.
Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies, and thy louing kindnesse: for they haue beene for euer.
7 Ne spominjaj se grehov moje mladosti niti mojih prestopkov. Glede na svoje usmiljenje se me spominjaj zaradi svoje dobrote, oh Gospod.
Remember not the sinnes of my youth, nor my rebellions, but according to thy kindenesse remember thou me, euen for thy goodnesse sake, O Lord.
8 Dober in pošten je Gospod, zato bo grešnike učil na poti.
Gracious and righteous is the Lord: therefore will he teache sinners in the way.
9 Krotke bo usmerjal na sodbo in krotke bo učil svojo pot.
Them that be meeke, will hee guide in iudgement, and teach the humble his way.
10 Vse Gospodove steze so usmiljenje in resnica do teh, ki se držijo njegove zaveze in njegovih pričevanj.
All the pathes of the Lord are mercie and trueth vnto such as keepe his couenant and his testimonies.
11 Zaradi svojega imena, oh Gospod, odpusti mojo krivičnost, kajti ta je velika.
For thy Names sake, O Lord, be merciful vnto mine iniquitie, for it is great.
12 Kakšen človek je ta, ki se boji Gospoda? Njega bo on učil na poti, ki jo bo on izbral.
What man is he that feareth the Lord? him wil he teache the way that hee shall chuse.
13 Njegova duša bo prebivala sproščeno in njegovo seme bo podedovalo zemljo.
His soule shall dwell at ease, and his seede shall inherite the land.
14 Gospodova skrivnost je s tistimi, ki se ga bojijo in pokazal jim bo svojo zavezo.
The secrete of the Lord is reueiled to them, that feare him: and his couenant to giue them vnderstanding.
15 Moje oči so vedno v smeri Gospoda, kajti moja stopala bo on potegnil iz mreže.
Mine eyes are euer towarde the Lord: for he will bring my feete out of the net.
16 Obrni se k meni in se me usmili, kajti zapuščen sem in prizadet.
Turne thy face vnto mee, and haue mercie vpon me: for I am desolate and poore.
17 Težave mojega srca so se povečale. O, osvobodi me iz moje stiske.
The sorowes of mine heart are enlarged: drawe me out of my troubles.
18 Poglej na mojo žalost in mojo bolečino in odpusti vse moje grehe.
Looke vpon mine affliction and my trauel, and forgiue all my sinnes.
19 Preudari moje sovražnike, kajti mnogo jih je in sovražijo me s krutim sovraštvom.
Beholde mine enemies, for they are manie, and they hate me with cruell hatred.
20 Oh varuj mojo dušo in me osvobodi. Naj ne bom osramočen, kajti svoje zaupanje polagam vate.
Keepe my soule, and deliuer me: let me not be confounded, for I trust in thee.
21 Naj me ohranjata neokrnjenost in poštenost, kajti jaz čakam nate.
Let mine vprightnes and equitie preserue me: for mine hope is in thee.
22 Odkupi Izraela, oh Bog, iz vseh njegovih težav.
Deliuer Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
