Psalmi 136
1 Oh zahvaljujte se Gospodu, ker je dober, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
Give ye thanks unto Jehovah, for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
2 Oh zahvaljujte se Bogu bogov, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
Give thanks unto the God of gods, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
3 Oh zahvaljujte se Gospodu gospodov, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
Give thanks unto the Lord of lords, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
4 Njemu, ki sam dela velike čudeže, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
To him who alone doeth great wonders, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
5 Njemu, ki je z modrostjo ustvaril nebo, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
To him that by understanding made the heavens, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
6 Njemu, ki je zemljo razpel nad vodami, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
To him that stretched out the earth above the waters, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
7 Njemu, ki je naredil velike luči, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno;
To him that made great lights, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
8 sonce, da vlada podnevi, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno;
The sun for rule over the day, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
9 luno in zvezde, da vladajo ponoči, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
The moon and stars for rule over the night, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
10 Njemu, ki je udaril Egipt na njegovih prvorojencih, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno;
To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
11 in Izraela izpeljal izmed njih, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno;
And brought out Israel from among them, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
12 z močno roko in z iztegnjenim laktom, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
With a powerful hand and with a stretched-out arm, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
13 Njemu, ki je razdelil Rdeče morje na [dva] dela, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno;
To him that divided the Red sea into parts, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
14 in naredil Izraelu, da gre skozi njegovo sredo, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno;
And made Israel to pass through the midst of it, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
15 toda porazil faraona in njegovo vojsko v Rdeče morje, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
And overturned Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
16 Njemu, ki je vodil svoje ljudstvo skozi divjino, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
To him that led his people through the wilderness, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
17 Njemu, ki je udaril velike kralje, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno;
To him that smote great kings, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
18 in usmrtil slavne kralje, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno;
And slew famous kings, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
19 amoréjskega kralja Sihóna, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno;
Sihon king of the Amorites, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
20 in bašánskega kralja Oga, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno;
And Og king of Bashan, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
21 in njihovo deželo dal za dediščino, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno;
And gave their land for an inheritance, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever,
22 celó dediščino Izraelu, njegovemu služabniku, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
An inheritance unto Israel his servant, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
23 Ki se nas je spomnil v našem nizkem stanu, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno;
Who hath remembered us in our low estate, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever;
24 in nas odkupil pred našimi sovražniki, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
And hath delivered us from our oppressors, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever:
25 Ki daje hrano vsemu mesu, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
Who giveth food to all flesh, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
26 Oh zahvaljujte se Bogu nebes, kajti njegovo usmiljenje traja večno.
Give ye thanks unto the God of the heavens; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
