Psalmi 125

1 Tisti, ki zaupajo v Gospoda, bodo kakor gora Sion, ki ne more biti odstranjena, temveč ostaja na veke.

A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD, [shall be] as mount Zion, [which] cannot be removed, [but] abideth for ever.

2 Kakor so gore naokoli Jeruzalema, tako je Gospod naokoli svojega ljudstva od tega časa naprej, celo za vedno.

[As] the mountains [are] round Jerusalem, so the LORD [is] around his people from henceforth even for ever.

3 Kajti palica zlobnih ne bo počivala na deležu pravičnih, da ne bi pravični svojih rok iztegnili h krivičnosti.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.

4 Delaj dobro, oh Gospod, tistim, ki so dobri in tistim, ki so iskreni v svojih srcih.

Do good, O LORD, to [those that] are good, and to [them that are] upright in their hearts.

5 Glede takšnih, ki zavijajo na svoje sprijene poti, jih bo Gospod odvedel z delavci krivičnosti, toda nad Izraelom bo mir.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.
