Psalmi 120

1 V svoji tegobi sem klical h Gospodu in me je slišal.

[the] song of The ascents to Yahweh in distress of me I called out and he answered me.

2 Osvobodi mojo dušo, oh Gospod, pred lažnivimi ustnicami in pred varljivim jezikom.

O Yahweh deliver! self my from a lip of falsehood from a tongue deceit.

3 Kaj ti bo dano? Ali kaj ti bo storjeno, ti varljiv jezik?

What? will anyone give to you and what? will anyone add to you O tongue deceit.

4 Ostre puščice mogočnega z brinovo žerjavico.

Arrows of a warrior sharpened with burning coals of broom plants.

5 Gorje meni, da se mudim v Mešehu, da prebivam v kedárskih šotorih!

Woe! to me that I have sojourned Meshech I have dwelt with [the] tents of Kedar.

6 Moja duša je dolgo prebivala s tistim, ki sovraži mir.

Much it has dwelt itself self my with [one who] hates peace.

7 Jaz sem za mir, toda ko govorim, so oni za vojno.

I [am] peace and that I speak they [are] for war.
