Psalmi 103
1 Blagoslavljaj Gospoda, oh moja duša, in vse, kar je znotraj mene, blagoslavljaj njegovo sveto ime.
[A Psalm] of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name.
2 Blagoslavljaj Gospoda, oh moja duša in ne pozabi vseh dejanj njega,
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 ki odpušča vse tvoje krivičnosti, ki ozdravlja vse tvoje bolezni,
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 ki odkupuje tvoje življenje pred uničenjem, ki te krona z ljubečo skrbnostjo in nežnimi usmiljenji,
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 ki tvoja usta nasičuje z dobrimi stvarmi, tako da se tvoja mladost obnavlja kakor orlova.
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good [things; so that] thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 Gospod izvršuje pravičnost in sodbo za vse, ki so zatirani.
The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
7 Svoje poti je dal spoznati Mojzesu, svoja dela Izraelovim otrokom.
He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8 Gospod je usmiljen in milostljiv, počasen za jezo in obilen v usmiljenju.
The LORD [is] merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 Ne bo se vedno pričkal niti svoje jeze ne bo držal na veke.
He will not always chide: neither will he keep [his anger] for ever.
10 Z nami ni ravnal po naših grehih niti nas ni nagrajeval glede na naše krivičnosti.
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 Kajti kakor je nebo visoko nad zemljo, tako veliko je njegovo usmiljenje do tistih, ki se ga bojijo.
For as the heaven is high above the earth, [so] great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12 Kolikor daleč je vzhod od zahoda, tako daleč odstranja naše prestopke od nas.
As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 Kakor se oče usmili svojih otrok, tako se Gospod usmili teh, ki se ga bojijo.
Like as a father pitieth [his] children, [so] the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
14 Kajti pozna naš sestav; spominja se, da smo prah.
For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we [are] dust.
15 Glede človeka, so njegovi dnevi kakor trava; kakor cvetica polja, tako cveti.
[As for] man, his days [are] as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
16 Kajti čeznjo gre veter in izgine in njen kraj je ne bo več poznal.
For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17 Toda Gospodovo usmiljenje je od večnosti do večnosti na tistih, ki se ga bojijo in njegova pravičnost do otrok otrok,
But the mercy of the LORD [is] from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
18 tistim, ki se držijo njegove zaveze in tistim, ki se spominjajo njegovih zapovedi, da jih izpolnjujejo.
To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
19 Gospod je pripravil svoj prestol v nebesih in njegovo kraljestvo vlada nad vsemi.
The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
20 Blagoslavljajte Gospoda, vi njegovi angeli, ki se odlikujete v moči, ki izpolnjujete njegove zapovedi s poslušanjem glasu njegove besede.
Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21 Blagoslavljajte Gospoda, vse ve njegove vojske, vi njegovi služabniki, ki izpolnjujete njegovo željo.
Bless ye the LORD, all [ye] his hosts; [ye] ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
22 Blagoslavljajte Gospoda, vsa njegova dela na vseh krajih njegovega gospostva. Blagoslavljaj Gospoda, oh moja duša.
Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
