1 Gospod je spregovoril Mojzesu in Aronu, rekoč:

Then spake Yahweh unto Moses and unto Aaron saying:

2 »Popišita glave sinov Kehátovih sinov, izmed Lévijevih sinov, po njihovih družinah, po hišah njihovih očetov,

Reckon up the sum of the sons of Kohath, out of the midst of the sons of Levi, —by their families by their ancestral house:

3 od tridesetega leta starosti in navzgor, celo do petdesetega leta starosti, vse, ki vstopijo v služenje, da opravljajo delo v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti.

from thirty years old, and upwards, even unto fifty years, —every one that can enter into the host, to do service in the tent of meeting.

4 To bo služba Kehátovih sinov v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti glede najsvetejših stvari.

This, shall be the labour of the sons of Kohath, in the tent of meeting, —the most holy things,

5 Ko se tabor odpravi naprej, bodo prišli Aron in njegovi sinovi in sneli zaslanjajoče zagrinjalo in z njim pokrili skrinjo pričevanja

So then Aaron and his sons shall enter when the camp is to set forward, and take down the screening veil, —and enwrap therein the ark of the testimony;

6 in nanjo bodo položili pokrivalo iz jazbečevih kož in nad tem bodo razgrnili pregrinjalo, v celoti iz modre in vanjo vstavili njena drogova.

and put thereon a covering of badgers’ skin, and spread a complete wrapper of blue over above, —and put in the staves thereof.

7 Na mizi hlebov navzočnosti bodo razprostrli pregrinjalo iz modre in nanjo položili sklede, žlice, skledice in pokrivala, da jih s tem pokrijejo, in na njej bo neprenehoma kruh.

And over the Presence-table, shall they spread a wrapper of blue and put thereon the dishes and the pans and the bowls and the libation cups, the perpetual bread also, thereupon, shall remain;

8 Nanjo bodo razprostrli pregrinjalo iz škrlata in isto pokrili s pokrivalom iz jazbečevih kož in vanjo vstavili njena drogova.

and they shall spread over them a wrapper of crimson, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skin, —and shall put in the staves thereof.

9 Vzeli bodo pregrinjalo iz modrega in pokrili svečnik svetlobe in njegove svetilke, njegove utrinjače, njegove pladnje za utrinke in vse njegove oljne posode, s katerimi mu služijo,

Then shall they take a wrapper of blue, and cover the light-giving lampstand, and the lamps thereof, and the snuffers thereof and the snuff-trays thereof, —and all the oil-vessels, thereof, wherewith they minister thereunto;

10 in z vsemi posodami ga bodo položili znotraj pokrivala iz jazbečevih kož in ga položili na nosila.

and shall put the same and all the vessels thereof, within a covering of, badgers’ skin, —and shall put it upon a frame.

11 Nad zlatim oltarjem bodo razprostrli modro pregrinjalo in ga pokrili s pokrivalom iz jazbečevih kož in vstavili njegova drogova.

And upon the altar of gold, shall they spread a wrapper of blue, and shall cover the same in a covering of badgers’ skin, —and shall put in the staves thereof,

12 Vzeli bodo vse priprave služenja, s katerimi služijo v svetišču in jih položili v modro pregrinjalo in jih pokrili s pokrivalom iz jazbečevih kož in jih bodo dali na nosila.

And they shall take all the utensils of attendance wherewith they attend in the sanctuary, and put them within a wrapper of blue, and cover the same in a covering of badgers’ skin, —and put them on a frame.

13 Iz oltarja bodo vzeli proč pepel in nanj razprostrli vijolično pregrinjalo

Then shall they remove the fat-ashes from the altar, —and spread over it a wrapper of purple;

14 in nanj bodo položili vse njegove posode, s katerimi služijo okrog njega, torej kadilnice, kavlje za meso, lopate, umivalnike, vse oltarne posode, in nanje bodo razprostrli pokrivalo iz jazbečevih kož in vstavili njegova drogova.

and put thereupon all the utensils thereof wherewith they minister thereupon—the fire-pans, the flesh-hooks—and the shovels and the tossing-bowls, all the utensils of the altar, —and shall spread over it a covering of badgers’ skin and put in the staves thereof.

15 Ko Aron in njegovi sinovi končajo s pokrivanjem svetišča in vseh posod svetišča, ko se bo tabor odpravil naprej, potem bodo prišli Kehátovi sinovi, da ga nosijo, toda ne bodo se dotaknili nobene svete stvari, da ne umrejo. Te stvari so breme Kehátovih sinov v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti.

So shall Aaron and his sons make an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the utensils of the sanctuary, when the camp is to set forward, then after that, shall the sons of Kohath enter to bear it, but they must not put forth a touch unto that which, is holy, else should they die, these, shall be the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting.

16 K služenju Aronovega sina Eleazarja, duhovnika, spada olje za svetlobo, dišeče kadilo, dnevna jedilna daritev, mazilno olje in nadzor vsega svetišča in vsega, kar je v njem, v svetišču in v njegovih posodah.«

But the care of Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, [shall be] —the light-giving oil, and the fragrant incense, and the perpetual meal-offering, and the anointing oil, the care of all the habitation, and all that is therein, both as to the sanctuary, and as to the furniture thereof.

17 Gospod je spregovoril Mojzesu in Aronu, rekoč:

Then spake Yahweh unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying:

18 »Ne odsekajta rodu družin Kehátovcev izmed Lévijevcev,

Do not let the tribe of the families of the Kohathites be cut off out of the midst of the Levites.

19 temveč jim tako storite, da bodo lahko živeli in ne umrli, ko se približajo najsvetejšim stvarem. Aron in njegovi sinovi bodo vstopili in določili vsakega k njegovi službi in k njegovemu bremenu,

This, therefore, do ye for them, so shall they live and not die when they approach the most holy place, —Aaron and his sons shall enter and set them man by man over his labour, and unto his burden;

20 toda ne bodo vstopili, da bi videli, ko se svete stvari pokrivajo, da ne umrejo.«

but they shall not enter to see, for a moment, that which is holy, else should they die.

21 Gospod je spregovoril Mojzesu, rekoč:

Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

22 »Popiši tudi glave Geršónovih sinov, po hišah njihovih očetov, po njihovih družinah.

reckon up the sum of the sons of Gershon even of them also, —by their ancestral house by their families;

23 Preštel jih boš od tridesetega leta starosti in navzgor, do petdesetega leta starosti; vse, ki vstopijo, da opravijo služenje, da opravijo delo v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti.

from thirty years old and upwards even to fifty years, shalt thou number them, —All that may enter to take rank in the host, to do laborious work in the tent of meeting.

24 To je služba družin Geršónovcev, da služijo in za bremena.

This, shall be the labour of the families of the Gershonites, —in labouring and in bearing:

25 Nosili bodo zavese šotorskega svetišča in šotorsko svetišče skupnosti, njegovo pokrivalo, pokrivalo iz jazbečevih kož, ki je nad njim, tanko preprogo za vrata šotorskega svetišča skupnosti,

they shall bear the curtains of the habitation and the tent of meeting, the covering thereof and the covering of badgers’ skin which is over above it, —and the screen, at the entrance of the tent of meeting;

26 tanke preproge dvora, tanko preprogo za vrata velikih vrat dvora, ki je pri šotorskem svetišču in pri oltarju naokoli, njihove vrvice in vse priprave njihove službe in vse, kar je narejeno zanje; tako bodo služili.

and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the entrance of the gate of the court which is near the habitation and near the altar round about, and their cords, and all their articles of service, and all that is to be done to them when they shall do their labour,

27 Po določitvi Arona in njegovih sinov bo vsa služba Geršónovih sinov v vseh njihovih bremenih in v vseh njihovih službah, in v stražo jim boste določili vsa njihova bremena.

At the bidding of Aaron and his sons, shall be all the labour of the sons of the Gershonites, to the extent of their every burden, and to the extent of all their labour, —so shall ye appoint unto them in charge their every burden.

28 To je služba družin Geršónovih sinov v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti in njihova straža bo pod roko Itamárja, sina duhovnika Arona.

This, shall be the labour of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the tent of meeting, —and, the charge of them, shall be in the hand of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.

29 Kar se tiče Meraríjevih sinov, jih boš preštel po njihovih družinah, po hiši njihovih očetov.

As for the sons of Merari, —by their families by their ancestral house, shall ye number them;

30 Preštel jih boš od tridesetega leta starosti in navzgor, torej do petdesetega leta starosti, vsakega, ki vstopa v službo, da opravlja delo šotorskega svetišča skupnosti.

from thirty years old and upwards even to fifty years, shall ye number them, —all that enter into the host, to do laborious work in the tent of meeting,

31 To je zadolžitev njihovega bremena, glede na vso njihovo službo v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti: deske šotorskega svetišča, njegove zapahe, njegove stebre, njegove podstavke,

And, this, shall be their charge of the burdens, to the extent of all their labour in the tent of meeting, the boards of the habitation, and the bars thereof and he pillars thereof and the sockets thereof:

32 stebre dvora naokoli, njegove podstavke, njegove količke, njihove vrvice z vsemi njihovimi pripravami in z vso njihovo službo, in po imenu boš določil priprave zadolžitve njihovega bremena.

and the pillars of the court round about and their sockets and their pins and their cords, to the extent of all their articles, to the extent of all their labour, and by names, shall ye put under their care the articles of their charge of burdens.

33 To je služba družin Meraríjevih sinov, glede na vso njihovo službo v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti, pod roko Itamárja, sina duhovnika Arona.«

This, shall be the labour of the families of the sons of Merari, to the extent of all their labour in the tent of meeting, —in the hand of Ithamar, son of Aaron, the priest.

34 Mojzes, Aron in vodje skupnosti so prešteli sinove Kehátovcev po njihovih družinah in po hiši njihovih očetov

Then did Moses and Aaron, and the princes of the assembly, number the sons of the Kohathites, by their families, and by their ancestral house;

35 od tridesetega leta starosti in navzgor, torej do petdesetega leta starosti, vsakega, ki vstopa v službo zaradi dela v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti.

from thirty years old and upwards, even unto fifty years old, all that might enter the host, to labour in the tent of meeting;

36 Tistih, ki so bili izmed njih prešteti, po njihovih družinah, je bilo dva tisoč sedemsto petdeset.

and they who were numbered of them, by their families, were found to be two thousand, seven hundred and fifty.

37 To so bili tisti, ki so bili prešteti izmed družin Kehátovcev, vsi, ki lahko opravljajo službo v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti, ki sta jih Mojzes in Aron preštela glede na Gospodovo zapoved po Mojzesovi roki.

These, were they who were num-bered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might labour in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron did number, at the bidding of Yahweh by the mediation of Moses.

38 Tistih, ki so bili prešteti izmed Geršónovih sinov, po njihovih družinah in po hiši njihovih očetov,

And they who were numbered of the sons of Gershon, —by their families, and by their ancestral house;

39 od tridesetega leta starosti in navzgor, torej do petdesetega leta starosti, vsakega, ki vstopa v službo zaradi dela v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti,

from thirty years old and upwards, even to fifty years old, all that might enter the host, to labour in the tent of meeting:

40 torej tistih, ki so bili izmed njih prešteti, po njihovih družinah, po hiši njihovih očetov, je bilo dva tisoč šeststo trideset.

yea they who were numbered of them, by their families, by their ancestral house, —were found to be—two thousand, and six hundred, and thirty.

41 To so tisti, ki so bili prešteti izmed družin Geršónovih sinov, izmed vseh, ki lahko opravljajo službo v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti, ki sta jih Mojzes in Aron preštela glede na Gospodovo zapoved.

These, are they who were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who might labour in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron did number, at the bidding of Yahweh.

42 Tistih, ki so bili prešteti izmed družin Meraríjevih sinov, po njihovih družinah, po hiši njihovih očetov,

And they who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families by their ancestral house;

43 od tridesetega leta starosti in navzgor, torej do petdesetega leta starosti, vsakega, ki vstopa v službo zaradi dela v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti,

from thirty years old and upwards, even unto fifty years old, —all that might enter the host to labour in the tent of meeting;

44 torej tistih, ki so bili izmed njih prešteti, po njihovih družinah, je bilo tri tisoč dvesto.

yea they who were numbered of them, by their families, were found to be—three thousand and two hundred.

45 To so tisti, ki so bili prešteti izmed družin Meraríjevih sinov, ki sta jih Mojzes in Aron preštela glede na Gospodovo besedo, po Mojzesovi roki.

These, are they who were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, —whom Moses and Aaron did number, at the bidding of Yahweh, by the mediation of Moses.

46 Vseh tistih, ki so bili prešteti izmed Lévijevcev, ki so jih Mojzes, Aron in Izraelovi vodje prešteli, po njihovih družinah in po hiši njihovih očetov,

All they who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel did number, even the Levites, by their families and by their ancestral house;

47 od tridesetega leta starosti in navzgor, torej do petdesetega leta starosti, vsakega, ki je prišel, da opravlja službo služenja in službo bremena v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti,

from thirty years old and upwards, even unto fifty years old, all that might enter, to toil in the work of labouring and in the work of bearing burdens, in the tent of meeting,

48 torej tistih, ki so bili izmed njih prešteti, je bilo osem tisoč petsto osemdeset.

yea, they who were numbered of them were found to be—eight thousand, and five hundred, and eighty.

49 Glede na Gospodovo zapoved so bili prešteti po Mojzesovi roki, vsak glede na svojo službo in glede na svoje breme. Tako jih je preštel, kakor je Gospod zapovedal Mojzesu.

At the bidding of Yahweh, were they put in charge by the mediation of Moses, man by man, over his labour and over his burden, —yea, they who were put in charge by him, were they, whom Yahweh commanded Moses.
