1 Tudi to so rodovi Arona in Mojzesa na dan, ko je Gospod govoril z Mojzesom na gori Sinaj.

And these are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that Jehovah spoke with Moses on mount Sinai.

2 To so imena Aronovih sinov: prvorojenec Nadáb in Abihú, Eleazar ter Itamár.

And these are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

3 To so imena Aronovih sinov, duhovnikov, ki so bili maziljeni, ki jih je uméstil, da služijo v duhovniški službi.

These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed priests, who were consecrated to exercise the priesthood.

4 Nadáb in Abihú sta umrla pred Gospodom, ko sta v Sinajski divjini, pred Gospodom, darovala tuj ogenj in nista imela nobenih otrok. Eleazar in Itamár pa sta služila v duhovniški službi v pogledu Arona, njunega očeta.

And Nadab and Abihu died before Jehovah when they offered strange fire before Jehovah in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no sons; and Eleazar and Ithamar exercised the priesthood in the presence of Aaron their father.

5 Gospod je spregovoril Mojzesu, rekoč:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

6 »Lévijev rod privedi bliže in postavi jih pred duhovnika Arona, da mu bodo lahko služili.

Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him;

7 Pazili bodo na njegovo zadolžitev in zadolžitev celotne skupnosti pred šotorskim svetiščem skupnosti, da opravljajo službo šotorskega svetišča.

and they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole assembly, before the tent of meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.

8 Pazili bodo na vse priprave šotorskega svetišča skupnosti in zadolžitev Izraelovih otrok, da opravljajo službo šotorskega svetišča.

And they shall keep all the utensils of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.

9 Lévijevce boš dal Aronu in njegovim sinovom. Oni so izmed Izraelovih otrok v celoti izročeni njemu.

And thou shalt give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given to him out of the children of Israel.

10 Določil boš Arona in njegova sinova in onadva bosta pazila na duhovniško službo, tujec pa, ki pride blizu, bo usmrčen.«

And Aaron and his sons shalt thou appoint that they may attend to their priest's office; and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.

11 Gospod je spregovoril Mojzesu, rekoč:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

12 »Glej, jaz sem vzel Lévijevce izmed Izraelovih otrok namesto vsega prvorojenega, kar odpre maternico med Izraelovimi otroki, zato bodo Lévijevci moji,

And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of every firstborn that breaketh open the womb among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine;

13 ker so vsi prvorojenci moji. Kajti na dan, ko sem udaril vse prvorojeno v egiptovski deželi, sem si posvetil vse prvorojeno v Izraelu, tako človeka kakor žival; moji bodo. Jaz sem Gospod.«

for every firstborn is mine. On the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both of man and beast; mine shall they be: I am Jehovah.

14 Gospod je Mojzesu spregovoril v Sinajski divjini, rekoč:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,

15 »Preštej Lévijeve otroke po hiši njihovih očetov, po njihovih družinah; štel boš vsakega moškega, starega en mesec in več.«

Number the sons of Levi according to their fathers' houses, after their families; every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.

16 Mojzes jih je preštel glede na Gospodovo besedo, kakor mu je bilo zapovedano.

And Moses numbered them, according to the commandment of Jehovah, — as he had been commanded.

17 To so bili Lévijevi sinovi po njihovih imenih: Geršón, Kehát in Merarí.

And these are the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.

18 To so imena Geršónovih sinov po njihovih družinah: Libni in Šimí.

And these are the names of the sons of Gershon according to their families: Libni and Shimei.

19 Kehátovi sinovi po njihovih družinah: Amrám, Jichár, Hebrón in Uziél.

And the sons of Kohath according to their families: Amram and Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.

20 Meraríjevi sinovi po njihovih družinah: Mahlí in Muší. To so družine Lévijevcev, glede na hišo njihovih očetov.

And the sons of Merari according to their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.

21 Od Geršóna je bila družina Libníjevcev in družina Šimíjevcev. To so družine Geršónovcev.

Of Gershon, the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.

22 Tistih, ki so bili izmed njih prešteti, glede na število vseh moških, starih en mesec in več, torej tistih, ki so bili izmed njih prešteti, je bilo sedem tisoč petsto.

Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, those that were numbered of them were seven thousand five hundred.

23 Družine Geršónovcev bodo taborile za šotorskim svetiščem proti zahodu.

The families of the Gershonites encamped behind the tabernacle westward.

24 Poglavar očetove hiše Geršónovcev bo Eljasáf, Laélov sin.

And the prince of the father's house of the Gershonites was Eliasaph the son of Lael.

25 Zadolžitev Geršónovih sinov v šotorskem svetišču skupnosti bo šotorsko svetišče in šotor, njegovo pokrivalo, tanka preproga za vrata šotorskega svetišča skupnosti,

And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tent of meeting was: the tabernacle and the tent, its covering, and the curtain of the entrance to the tent of meeting.

26 tanke preproge dvora, zavesa za vrata dvora, ki je ob šotorskem svetišču in naokoli ob oltarju in njene vrvice za vse vrste dela.

And the hangings of the court, and the curtain of the entrance to the court, which surrounds the tabernacle and the altar, and the cords thereof for all its service.

27 Od Keháta je bila družina Amrámovcev, družina Jichárovcev, družina Hebróncev in družina Uziélovcev; to so družine Kehátovcev.

And of Kohath, the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.

28 Število vseh moških, starih en mesec in več, je bilo osem tisoč šeststo, ki pazijo na zadolžitev svetišča.

According to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred, who kept the charge of the sanctuary.

29 Družine Kehátovih sinov bodo taborile na strani šotorskega svetišča proti jugu.

The families of the sons of Kohath encamped on the side of the tabernacle southward.

30 Poglavar očetove hiše Kehátovih družin bo Uziélov sin Elicafán.

And the prince of the father's house of the families of the Kohathites was Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.

31 Njihova zadolžitev bo skrinja, miza, svečnik, oltarji, posode svetišča, s katerimi služijo, tanka preproga in vse delo pri tem.

And their charge was the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the utensils of the sanctuary with which they ministered, and the curtain, and all that belongs to its service.

32 Eleazar, sin duhovnika Arona, bo vodja nad vodji Lévijevcev in imel bo nadzor nad tistimi, ki pazijo na zadolžitev svetišča.

And the prince of princes of the Levites was Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest: he had the oversight of them that kept the charge of the sanctuary.

33 Od Meraríja je bila družina Mahlíjevcev in družina Mušíjevcev; to so družine Meraríjevcev.

Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.

34 Tistih, ki so bili izmed njih prešteti, glede na število, vseh moških starih en mesec in več, je bilo šest tisoč dvesto.

And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.

35 Vodja hiše očetov Meraríjeve družine je bil Abihájilin sin Curiél; ti bodo taborili na strani šotorskega svetišča proti severu.

And the prince of the father's house of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail. They encamped on the side of the tabernacle northward.

36 Pod oskrbo in zadolžitvijo Meraríjevih sinov bodo deske šotorskega svetišča, njegovi zapahi, njegovi stebri, njegovi podstavki in vse njegove posode in vse, kar služi k temu

And the charge of the sons of Merari consisted in the oversight of the boards of the tabernacle, and its bars, and its pillars, and its bases, and all its furniture, and all that belongs to its service,

37 in stebri dvora naokoli, njihovi podstavki, njihovi količki in njihove vrvice.

and the pillars of the court round about, and their bases, and their pegs, and their cords.

38 Toda tisti, ki so se utaborili pred šotorskim svetiščem proti vzhodu, torej pred šotorskim svetiščem skupnosti proti vzhodu, bodo Mojzes, Aron in njegovi sinovi, ki pazijo na zadolžitev svetišča, za službo Izraelovih otrok. Tujec, ki pride blizu, pa bo usmrčen.

And those who encamped before the tabernacle eastward, before the tent of meeting toward the sunrising, were Moses, and Aaron and his sons, who kept the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.

39 Vseh, ki so bili prešteti izmed Lévijevcev, ki sta jih Mojzes in Aron preštela na Gospodovo zapoved, po njihovih družinah, vseh moških starih en mesec in več, je bilo dvaindvajset tisoč.

All that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of Jehovah, according to their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.

40 Gospod je rekel Mojzesu: »Preštej vse prvorojene moške izmed Izraelovih otrok, stare en mesec in več in vzemi število njihovih imen.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Number all the first-born males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.

41 Zame boš vzel Lévijevce (Jaz sem Gospod ) namesto vseh prvorojencev med Izraelovimi otroki in živino Lévijevcev namesto vseh prvencev izmed živine Izraelovih otrok.«

And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am Jehovah) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites, instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.

42 Mojzes jih je preštel, kakor mu je zapovedal Gospod, vse prvorojene med Izraelovimi otroki.

And Moses numbered, as Jehovah had commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.

43 Vseh prvorojenih moških po številu imen, starih en mesec in več, izmed tistih, ki so bili izmed njih prešteti, je bilo dvaindvajset tisoč dvesto triinsedemdeset.

And all the firstborn males, by the number of the names, from a month old and upward, according to their numbering, were twenty-two thousand two hundred and seventy-three.

44 Gospod je spregovoril Mojzesu, rekoč:

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

45 »Vzemi Lévijevce namesto vseh prvorojencev med Izraelovimi otroki in živino Lévijevcev namesto njihove živine, in Lévijevci bodo moji. Jaz sem Gospod.

Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am Jehovah.

46 Za tiste, ki naj bi bili odkupljeni izmed dvesto triinsedemdesetih prvorojencev Izraelovih otrok, ki jih je več kot Lévijevcev,

And for those that are to be ransomed, the two hundred and seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are in excess over the Levites,

47 boš vzel pet šeklov po glavi, po svetiščnem šeklu jih boš vzel; (šekel je dvajset ger).

thou shalt take five shekels apiece by the poll, according to the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them, — twenty gerahs the shekel;

48 Denar, s katerim naj bo preostanek odkupljen, pa boš dal Aronu in njegovim sinovom.«

and thou shalt give the money unto Aaron and unto his sons for those in excess among them who are to be ransomed.

49 Mojzes je vzel odkupitveni denar od tistih, ki so preostali nad tistimi, ki so bili odkupljeni po Lévijevcih.

And Moses took the ransom-money from them that were over and above those who were ransomed by the Levites;

50 Od prvorojencev Izraelovih otrok je vzel denar: tisoč tristo petinšestdeset šeklov po svetiščnem šeklu.

of the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, a thousand three hundred and sixty-five [shekels], according to the shekel of the sanctuary.

51 Mojzes je denar od tistih, ki so bili odkupljeni, dal Aronu in njegovim sinovom, glede na Gospodovo besedo, kakor je Gospod zapovedal Mojzesu.

And Moses gave the money of them that were ransomed to Aaron and to his sons, according to the commandment of Jehovah, — as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
