Nehemija 7
1 Pripetilo se je torej, ko je bilo obzidje zgrajeno in sem postavil vrata in so bili določeni vratarji, pevci in Lévijevci,
And it comes to pass, when the wall has been built, that I set up the doors, and the gatekeepers are appointed, and the singers, and the Levites,
2 da sem dal svojemu bratu Hananíju in Hananjáju, vladarju palače, zadolžitev nad Jeruzalemom, kajti ta je bil zvest mož in bolj kot mnogi se je bal Boga.
and I charge my brother Hanani, and Hananiah head of the palace, concerning Jerusalem—for he [is] as a man of truth, and fearing God above many—
3 Rekel sem jima: »Naj velika vrata Jeruzalema ne bodo odprta, dokler ne bo sonce vroče. Medtem ko stojijo poleg, naj vrata zaprejo in jih zapahnejo. Določite straže izmed prebivalcev Jeruzalema, vsakogar na svojo stražo in vsakdo naj bo nasproti svoji hiši.«
and I say to them, “Do not let the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the heat of the sun, and while they are standing by let them shut the doors, and fasten, and appoint guards of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, each at his watch, and each in front of his house.”
4 Torej mesto je bilo prostrano in veliko. Toda ljudstva v njem je bilo malo in hiše niso bile zgrajene.
And the city [is] broad on both sides, and great, and the people [are] few in its midst, and there are no houses built;
5 Moj Bog je na moje srce položil, da zberem skupaj plemiče, vladarje in ljudstvo, da bi bili lahko prešteti po rodovniku. Našel sem seznam rodovnika izmed tistih, ki so prišli najprej gor in v njem našel zapisano:
and my God puts it to my heart, and I gather the nobles, and the prefects, and the people, for the genealogy, and I find a scroll of the genealogy of those coming up at the beginning, and I find written in it:

These [are] sons of the province, those coming up of the captives of the expulsion that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed—and they return to Jerusalem and to Judah, each to his city—
7 ki so prišli z Zerubabélom, Ješúom, Nehemijem, Azarjájem, Raamjájem, Nahamánijem, Mordohajem, Bilšánom, Mispéretom, Bigvájem, Nehumom in Baanájem. Število, pravim, izmed mož Izraelovega ljudstva je bilo tole:
who are coming in with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
8 Paróševih otrok dva tisoč sto dvainsedemdeset.
sons of Parosh, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two;
9 Šefatjájevih otrok tristo dvainsedemdeset.
sons of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy-two;
10 Aráhovih otrok šeststo dvainpetdeset.
sons of Arah, six hundred fifty-two;
11 Pahat Moábovih otrok, od otrok Ješúa in Joába, dva tisoč osemsto in osemnajst.
sons of Pahath-Moab, of the sons of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred [and] eighteen;
12 Elámovih otrok tisoč dvesto štiriinpetdeset.
sons of Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty-four;
13 Zatújevih otrok osemsto petinštirideset.
sons of Zattu, eight hundred forty-five;
14 Zakájevih otrok sedemsto šestdeset.
sons of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty;
15 Binújevih otrok šeststo oseminštirideset.
sons of Binnui, six hundred forty-eight;
16 Bebájevih otrok šeststo osemindvajset.
sons of Bebai, six hundred twenty-eight;
17 Azgádovih otrok dva tisoč tristo dvaindvajset.
sons of Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty-two;
18 Adonikámovih otrok šeststo sedeminšestdeset.
sons of Adonikam, six hundred sixty-seven;
19 Bigvájevih otrok dva tisoč sedeminšestdeset.
sons of Bigvai, two thousand sixty-seven;
20 Adínovih otrok šeststo petinpetdeset.
sons of Adin, six hundred fifty-five;
21 Atêrjevih otrok, od Ezekíja, osemindevetdeset.
sons of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety-eight;

sons of Pashur, one thousand two hundred forty-seven;

59 Šefatjájevi otroci, Hatílovi otroci, Pohêret Cebájimovi otroci in Amónovi otroci.
sons of Shephatiah, sons of Hattil, sons of Pochereth of Zebaim, sons of Amon.
60 Vseh Netinimcev in otrok Salomonovih služabnikov, je bilo tristo dvaindevetdeset.
All the Nethinim and the sons of the servants of Solomon [are] three hundred ninety-two.
61 In ti so bili tisti, ki so tudi odšli gor iz Tel Melaha, Tel Hareše, Kerúba, Adóna in Imêrja. Toda niso mogli pokazati hiše svojega očeta niti svojega semena, če so bili iz Izraela.
And these [are] those coming up from Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer—and they have not been able to declare the house of their fathers, and their seed, whether they [are] of Israel—
62 Delajájevih otrok, Tobijevih otrok, Nekodájevih otrok šeststo dvainštirideset.
sons of Delaiah, sons of Tobiah, sons of Nekoda, six hundred forty-two.
63 Izmed duhovnikov: Habajájevi otroci, Kocovi otroci in otroci Barzilája, ki je vzel eno izmed hčera Gileádca Barzilája za ženo in je bil imenovan po njihovem imenu.
And of the priests: sons of Habaiah, sons of Koz, sons of Barzillai (who has taken a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and is called by their name).

These have sought their register among those reckoning themselves by genealogy, and it has not been found, and they are redeemed from the priesthood,

and the Tirshatha says to them that they do not eat of the most holy things until the standing up of the priest with [the] Lights and Perfections.
66 Celotne skupnosti skupaj je bilo dvainštirideset tisoč tristo šestdeset,
All the assembly together [is] forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty,
67 poleg njihovih slug in njihovih dekel, od katerih jih je bilo tam sedem tisoč tristo sedemintrideset. Imeli so dvesto petinštirideset pevcev in pevk.
apart from their servants and their handmaids—these [are] seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven; and of them [are] male and female singers, two hundred forty-five.
68 Njihovih konj sedemsto šestintrideset, njihovih mul dvesto petinštirideset,
Their horses [are] seven hundred thirty-six; their mules, two hundred [and] forty-five;
69 njihovih kamel štiristo petintrideset in šest tisoč sedemsto dvajset oslov.
camels, four hundred thirty-five; donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
70 Nekateri izmed vodij očetov so darovali k delu. Tirsata je dal v zaklad tisoč darejkov zlata, petdeset umivalnikov in petsto trideset duhovniških oblačil.
And from the extremity of the heads of the fathers they have given to the work; the Tirshatha has given to the treasure, one thousand drams of gold, fifty bowls, five hundred and thirty priests’ coats.
71 Nekateri izmed vodij očetov so dali v zaklad za delo dvajset tisoč darejkov zlata in dva tisoč dvesto funtov srebra.
And of the heads of the fathers they have given to the treasure of the work, twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pounds of silver.
72 Tega, kar je dalo ostalo ljudstvo, je bilo dvajset tisoč darejkov zlata, dva tisoč funtov srebra in sedeminšestdeset duhovniških oblačil.
And that which the rest of the people have given [is] twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty-seven priests’ coats.
73 Tako so duhovniki, Lévijevci, vratarji, pevci, nekateri izmed ljudstva, Netinimci in ves Izrael prebivali v svojih mestih. Ko je prišel sedmi mesec, so bili Izraelovi otroci v svojih mestih.‹
And they dwell—the priests, and the Levites, and the gatekeepers, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nethinim, and all Israel—in their cities, and the seventh month comes, and the sons of Israel [are] in their cities.
