1 Isti dan je Jezus odšel iz hiše in se usedel ob morski obali.
IN that day Jeshu went forth from the house and sat by the sea-side;
2 In k njemu so bile zbrane skupaj velike množice, tako da je odšel na ladjo in se usedel, vsa množica pa je stala na bregu.
and great multitudes gathered near him, so that he went up and sat in a vessel; and all the multitude were standing on the shore of the sea.
3 In v prispodobah jim je govoril mnoge besede, rekoč: »Glejte, sejalec je odšel sejat
And he discoursed largely to them in parables, and said: Behold, there went forth a sower to sow;
4 in ko je sejal, je nekaj semen padlo poleg poti in prišla je perjad ter jih požrla.
and as he sowed, some fell by the road-side, and the fowl came and devoured it.
5 Nekaj jih je padlo na kamnita mesta, kjer niso imela veliko zemlje in so nemudoma pognala, ker niso imela globine zemlje
Another (portion) fell upon the rock, where there was not much soil; and immediately it sprung up, because there was no depth of earth.
6 in ko je bilo sonce zgoraj, so bila ožgana in ker niso imela korenine, so ovenela.
But when the sun was risen, it burned, and, because it had no root, it withered away.
7 In nekaj jih je padlo med trnje in trnje je pognalo ter jih zadušilo.
And another fell among the thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked it.
8 Toda druga so padla v dobro zemljo in obrodila sad, nekatera stoternega, nekatera šestdeseternega, nekatera trideseternega.
And another fell into good earth, and gave fruits, this a hundred, another sixty, and another thirty.
9 Kdor ima ušesa, da slišijo, naj posluša.«
He who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
10 In prišli so učenci ter mu rekli: »Zakaj jim govoriš v prispodobah?«
And his disciples approached, saying to him, Why dost thou speak to them in parables?
11 Odgovoril je in jim rekel: »Ker je vam dano spoznati skrivnosti nebeškega kraljestva, toda njim to ni dano.
He replied and said to them, Because unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of heaven, but unto them it is not given.
12 Kajti kdorkoli ima, njemu bo dano in imel bo večje obilje; toda kdorkoli nima, bo od njega vzeto proč celó to, kar ima.
For unto him who hath, it shall be given, and it shall be increased to him: but to him who hath not, that also which he hath shall be taken from him.
13 Zatorej jim govorim v prispodobah, ker gledajo, a ne vidijo in poslušajo, a ne slišijo niti ne razumejo.
On this account I speak to them in parables. Hence they see, and (yet) see not; and they hear, and (yet) hear not, neither understand;
14 In v njih se je izpolnila Izaijeva prerokba, ki pravi: ›S poslušanjem boste slišali, pa ne boste razumeli; in gledali boste ter videli, pa ne boste zaznali;
and accomplished in them is the prophecy of Eshaia, who said, that hearing they should hear, but not understand, and seeing they should see, but not know.
15 kajti srce teh ljudi je otopelo in njihova ušesa so naglušna in svoje oči so zaprli, da ne bi lahko kadarkoli s svojimi očmi videli in s svojimi ušesi slišali in bi s svojim srcem razumeli ter bi bili spreobrnjeni in bi jih jaz ozdravil.
For the heart of this people is become gross, and with their ears they have heard heavily, and their eyes they have shut, that they may not see with their eyes, nor hear with their ears, nor understand with their hearts, and be converted, and I heal them.
16 Toda blagoslovljene so vaše oči, ker vidijo, in vaša ušesa, ker slišijo.
But blessed are your eyes which see, and your ears which hear:
17 Kajti resnično, povem vam: ›Da je veliko prerokov in pravičnih ljudi želelo videti te stvari, ki jih vi vidite, pa jih niso videli; in slišati te besede, ki jih vi slišite, pa jih niso slišali.‹
for, Amen I say unto you, that many prophets and just ones have desired to behold what you see, and have not beheld, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard.
18 Poslušajte torej prispodobo o sejalcu.
You, then, attend to the comparison of the seed:
19 Kadar kdorkoli sliši besedo o kraljestvu, pa je ne razume, potem pride ta zlobni in izdere to, kar je bilo posejano v njegovo srce. To je tisti, ki je seme sprejel poleg poti.
(When) any one who heareth the doctrine of the kingdom doth not understand it, there cometh the evil (one), and snatcheth away the doctrine that was sown in his heart: this is what by the road-side was sown.
20 Toda kdor je seme sprejel na kamnita mesta, je isti kakor kdor sliši besedo in jo takoj z radostjo sprejme,
But that which was sown upon the rock is he who heareth the word, and at once with joy apprehendeth it.
21 vendar v sebi nima korenine, toda nekaj časa vztraja. Ko pa zaradi besede nastane stiska ali preganjanje, on v kratkem greši.
Yet hath he no root in him, but is (only) for a time; and when affliction or persecution occurs on account of the doctrine, he is quickly offended.
22 Tudi tisti, ki je seme sprejel med trnje, je tisti, ki sliši besedo. Skrb tega sveta in zapeljivost bogastev pa zadušita besedo in on postaja brez sadu. (aiōn g165)
That sown the place of thorns, is he who heareth the word, but the anxious thought of this world and the illusions of riches stifle the word in him, and he is without fruits. (aiōn g165)
23 Toda kdor je seme sprejel v dobro zemljo, je tisti, ki sliši besedo in jo razume, ki prav tako prinaša sad in obrodi, eden stoternega, drugi šestdeseternega, [spet] drugi trideseternega.«
But that which upon good ground was sown is he who heareth my doctrine, and understandeth (it), and giveth fruits, and produceth, whether a hundred, or sixty, or thirty fold.
24 Podal jim je drugo prispodobo, rekoč: »Nebeško kraljestvo je podobno človeku, ki je na svojo njivo posejal dobro seme.
ANOTHER comparison he allegorized unto them, and said: The kingdom of heaven is like unto a man who sowed good seed in his field.
25 Toda medtem ko so ljudje spali, je prišel njegov sovražnik in med pšenico posejal plevel ter odšel svojo pot.
And while men slept, came his adversary, and sowed zizania among the wheat, and went.
26 Toda ko je bilka pognala in obrodila sad, potem se je prikazal tudi plevel.
And when the plant sprang up and produced fruit, then appeared the zizania.
27 Služabniki hišnega gospodarja so torej prišli in mu rekli: ›Gospod, ali nisi v svojo njivo posejal dobrega semena? Od kod ima potem le-ta plevel?‹
And the labourers of the house-lord drew near and said to him, Our lord, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? From whence then is the zizania in it?
28 Rekel jim je: ›To je storil sovražnik.‹ Služabniki so mu rekli: ›Hočeš potem, da gremo in ga poberemo?‹
But he said to them, A foeman hath done this. The labourers say to him, Art thou willing that we go and gather them?
29 Toda rekel je: ›Ne, da ne bi, medtem ko pobirate plevel, z njim izruvali tudi pšenice.
But he said to them, (No, ) lest, when ye gather the zizania, you root out with them the wheat also.
30 Naj oboje skupaj raste do žetve, in ob času žetve bom rekel žanjcem: ›Zberite skupaj najprej plevel in ga povežite v svežnje za sežig, toda pšenico zberite v moj skedenj.‹«
Leave (them), that both may grow together till the harvest; and in the season of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather first the zizania, and bind them (together in) bundles, that they may burn; but the wheat collect into my barns.
31 Podal jim je drugo prispodobo, rekoč: »Nebeško kraljestvo je podobno zrnu gorčičnega semena, ki ga je človek vzel in posejal na svoji njivi;
Another comparison allegorized he to them, and said: The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard, which a man took and sowed in his field.
32 ki je zares najmanjše od vseh semen, toda ko to zraste, je največje med zelišči in postane drevo, tako da pridejo ptice neba in prenočujejo na njegovih vejah.«
This is less than all other seeds; but when it has grown, it is greater than all herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the fowl of the heavens come (and) build in its branches.
33 Povedal jim je drugo prispodobo: »Nebeško kraljestvo je podobno kvasu, ki ga je ženska vzela in skrila v treh merah moke, dokler ni bilo vse prekvašeno.«
Another parable he spake to them: The kingdom of heaven resembles that leaven which a woman took and hid in three satas of meal, until the whole was leavened.
34 Vse te besede je Jezus množici govoril v prispodobah; brez prispodobe pa jim ni govoril,
All these spake Jeshu in parables to the multitude; and without a parable he did not speak with them.
35 da bi se lahko izpolnilo, kar je bilo rečeno po preroku, rekoč: »Svoja usta bom odprl v prispodobah, izrekel bom besede, ki so bile od ustanovitve sveta hranjene na skrivnem.«
That there should be fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet, who said, I will open my mouth in comparisons, and pour forth things hidden from before the foundation of the world.
36 Tedaj je Jezus množico poslal proč in odšel v hišo, in njegovi učenci so prišli k njemu, rekoč: »Pojasni nam prispodobo o poljskem plevelu.«
Then Jeshu dismissed the multitudes, and came into the house; and his disciples drew near him, and said to him, Expound to us the comparison of the zizania of the field.
37 Odgovoril je in jim rekel: »Kdor seje dobro seme, je Sin človekov.
He answered and said to them, He who sowed the good seed is the Son of man.
38 Njiva je svet. Dobro seme so otroci kraljestva, toda plevel so otroci zlobnega.
The field is the world. Now, the good seed are the sons of the kingdom, but the zizania are the sons of the evil one.
39 Sovražnik, ki jih je posejal, je hudič. Žetev je konec sveta, žanjci pa so angeli. (aiōn g165)
The adversary who sowed them is Satana; the harvest is the consummation of the world; the reapers are the angels. (aiōn g165)
40 Kakor je torej plevel pobran in v ognju sežgan, tako bo ob koncu tega sveta. (aiōn g165)
As, therefore, the zizania are gathered and burned in the fire, so shall it be in the completion of this world. (aiōn g165)
41 Sin človekov bo poslal svoje angele in iz njegovega kraljestva bodo pobrali vse stvari, ki so padle v greh in tiste, ki počno krivičnost;
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall collect from his kingdom all those who cause offence, and all (who) work iniquity,
42 in vrgli jih bodo v ognjeno talilno peč. Tam bo tarnanje in škripanje z zobmi.
and shall throw them into a furnace of fire; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
43 Potem bodo pravični zasijali kakor sonce v kraljestvu svojega Očeta. Kdor ima ušesa, da slišijo, naj posluša.
Then the just shall shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
44 Ponovno, nebeško kraljestvo je podobno zakladu, skritemu na njivi. Ko ga je človek našel, ga skrije in zaradi radosti gre in proda vse, kar ima in to polje kupi.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a treasure which was hidden in a field, (and) which a man found and concealed, and from joy went and sold all that he had, and bought that field.
45 Ponovno, nebeško kraljestvo je podobno trgovcu, ki išče lepe bisere,
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man a merchant, who sought goodly pearls;
46 ki je, ko je našel en biser velike vrednosti, šel in prodal vse, kar je imel ter ga kupil.
but who, when he had found one pearl of exceeding price, went, sold all that he had, and bought it.
47 Ponovno, nebeško kraljestvo je podobno mreži, ki je bila vržena v morje in je zajela od vseh vrst,
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, which was thrown into the sea, and from every kind collected.
48 ki so jo, ko je bila polna, odvlekli do obale in se usedli ter dobre zbrali v posode, toda slabe so vrgli proč.
And when it was full, they drew to the shore, and sat down, and selected; and the good they threw into vessels, and the bad they cast without.
49 Tako bo torej ob koncu sveta. Prišli bodo angeli in zlobne bodo oddvojili od pravičnih, (aiōn g165)
Thus shall it be at the consummation of the world. The angels shall go forth, and separate the evil from among the just, (aiōn g165)
50 in jih vrgli v ognjeno talilno peč. Tam bo tarnanje in škripanje z zobmi.«
and cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth!
51 Jezus jim reče: »Ste razumeli vse te besede?« Rečejo mu: »Da, Gospod.«
Jeshu said to them, Have you understood all these? They say to him, Yes, our Lord.
52 Tedaj jim je rekel: »Zato je vsak pisar, ki je poučen o nebeškem kraljestvu, podoben človeku, ki je hišni gospodar, ki prinaša iz svojega zaklada nove in stare stvari.«
He saith to them, On this account every scribe who is learned in the kingdom of heaven, is like to a man a house-lord, who bringeth forth from his treasuries the new and the old.
53 In pripetilo se je, ko je Jezus zaključil te prispodobe, da je odšel od tam.
AND when Jeshu had finished these parables, he passed from thence,
54 In ko je prišel v svojo lastno deželo, jih je v njihovi sinagogi učil, do take mere, da so bili osupli in govorili: »Od kod ima ta človek to modrost in ta mogočna dela?
and came to his city, and taught them in their synagogues, so that they were astounded and said, Whence hath he (Whence to him) this wisdom and these powers?
55 Ali ni to tesarjev sin? Ali ni njegova mati imenovana Marija? In njegovi bratje Jakob in Jožef in Simon in Juda?
Is not this the son of the carpenter? Is not his mother called Mariam, and his brothers, Jakub, and Josi, and Shemun, and Jehuda?
56 In njegove sestre ali niso vse z nami? Od kod ima potem ta človek vse te stvari?«
and his sisters, all, are they not with us? Whence to this one all these?
57 In pohujševali so se nad njim. Toda Jezus jim je rekel: »Prerok ni brez spoštovanja, razen v svoji lastni deželi in v svoji lastni hiši.«
And they were offended with him. But Jeshu said to them, No prophet is contemned except in his own city, and in his own house.
58 In tam zaradi njihove nevere ni storil veliko mogočnih del.
And he did not many miracles there on account of their unbelief.
