< Marko 15 >

1 In takoj zjutraj so imeli visoki duhovniki posvet s starešinami in pisarji ter celotnim vélikim zborom in zvezali Jezusa in ga odvedli proč ter ga izročili Pilatu.
Immediately in the morning the chief cohanim, with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, held a consultation, and bound Yeshua, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" He answered, "You say so."
3 In visoki duhovniki so ga obtožili mnogih stvari. Toda nič ni odgovoril.
The chief cohanim accused him of many things.
4 In Pilat ga je ponovno vprašal, rekoč: »Nič ne odgovarjaš? Glej, koliko stvari pričujejo zoper tebe.«
Pilate again asked him, "Have you no answer? See how many things they testify against you."
But Yeshua made no further answer, and Pilate was amazed.
6 Torej na ta praznik jim je izpustil enega jetnika, kateregakoli so želeli.
Now at the feast he used to release to them one prisoner, whom they requested.
There was one called Barabbas, bound with those who had made insurrection, who in the insurrection had committed murder.
And the crowd went up and began to ask him to do for them according to his custom.
Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?"
For he perceived that for envy the chief cohanim had delivered him up.
11 Toda visoki duhovniki so napeljali množico, da naj jim raje izpusti Baraba.
But the chief cohanim stirred up the crowd, that he should release Barabbas to them instead.
Pilate again asked them, "What then should I do to him whom you call the King of the Jews?"
13 In ponovno so zavpili: »Križaj ga.«
They shouted again, "Crucify him."
Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they shouted all the louder, "Crucify him."
Pilate, wishing to please the crowd, released Barabbas to them, and handed over Yeshua, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.
16 In vojaki so ga odvedli proč v dvorano, imenovano Praetorium in sklicali vso četo.
The soldiers led him away within the court, which is the Praetorium; and they called together the whole cohort.
They clothed him with purple, and weaving a crown of thorns, they put it on him.
18 in ga začeli pozdravljati: »Pozdravljen, Kralj Judov!«
They began to salute him, "Greetings, King of the Jews."
19 In s trstom so ga udarjali po glavi in pljuvali nanj in ko so upogibali svoja kolena, so ga oboževali.
They struck his head with a reed, and spat on him, and bowing their knees, did homage to him.
20 In ko so ga zasmehovali, so z njega sneli škrlat in nanj nadeli njegova lastna oblačila ter ga odvedli ven, da ga križajo.
When they had mocked him, they took the purple off of him, and put his own garments on him. They led him out to crucify him.
And they forced one passing by, Shim'on of Cyrene, coming from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to go with them, that he might carry his cross.
22 In privedli so ga na kraj Golgota, kar je prevedeno: ›Kraj lobanje.‹
And they brought him to the place called Golgotha, which is translated, "The place of a skull."
23 In dali so mu za piti vina, pomešanega z miro, toda ni ga sprejel.
They offered him wine mixed with myrrh to drink, but he did not take it.
24 In ko so ga križali, so razdelili njegove obleke in zanje metali žreb, kaj naj bi vsak mož vzel.
Crucifying him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots on them, what each should take.
It was nine in the morning, and they crucified him.
26 In napis njegove obtožbe je bil napisan nad njim: KRALJ JUDOV.
The superscription of his accusation was written over him, "THE KING OF THE JEWS."
With him they crucified two robbers; one on his right hand, and one on his left.
And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And he was numbered with transgressors."
Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads, and saying, "Ha. You who destroy the temple, and build it in three days,
30 reši samega sebe in pridi dol s križa.«
save yourself and come down from the cross."
Likewise, also the chief cohanim mocking among themselves with the scribes said, "He saved others. He cannot save himself.
Let the Messiah, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe him." Those who were crucified with him insulted him.
Now when it was noon, there was darkness over the whole land until three in the afternoon.
Then at three in the afternoon Yeshua called out with a loud voice, saying, "Elohi, Elohi, lema shabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
35 Nekateri izmed teh, ki so stali poleg, pa so, ko so to slišali, rekli: »Glejte, Elija kliče.«
Some of those who stood by, when they heard it, said, "Look, he is calling for Elijah."
One ran, and filling a sponge full of vinegar, put it on a reed, and gave it to him to drink, saying, "Let him be. Let us see whether Elijah comes to take him down."
37 In Jezus je z močnim glasom zavpil in izročil duha.
Yeshua gave a loud cry, and gave up the spirit.
The veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom.
And when the centurion, who stood by opposite him, saw that he cried out like this and breathed his last, he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God."
There were also women watching from afar, among whom were both Miriam from Magdala, and Miriam the mother of Jacob the younger and of Josi, and Salome;
who, when he was in Galil, followed him, and served him; and many other women who came up with him to Jerusalem.
When evening had now come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath,
Joseph of Arimateh, a prominent council member who also himself was looking for the Kingdom of God, came. He boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for the body of Yeshua.
Pilate was surprised that he was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead long.
When he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
He bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth, and placed him in a tomb which had been cut out of a rock. He rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.
Miriam from Magdala and Miriam, the mother of Josi, saw where he was placed.
