Luka 1
1 Ker so že mnogi vzeli v roko, da po vrsti uredijo izjavo o teh stvareh, ki se najbolj gotovo verjamejo med nami,
For as moche as many have take in hand to compyle a treates of thoo thinges which are surely knowen amonge vs
2 celo kakor so nam jih izročili [tisti], ki so bili od začetka priče in služabniki besede,
even as they declared them vnto vs which from the beginnynge sawe them their selves and were ministers at the doyng:
3 se je tudi meni zdelo dobro, od samega začetka imeti popolno razumevanje o vseh stvareh, da tebi, nadvse odlični Teófil, napišem po vrsti,
I determined also assone as I had searched out diligently all thinges from the beginnynge that then I wolde wryte vnto the good Theophilus:
4 da lahko spoznaš zanesljivost o teh besedah, o katerih si bil poučen.
that thou myghtest knowe the certente of thoo thinges wher of thou arte informed.
5 V dneh Heroda, judejskega kralja, je bil nek duhovnik, imenovan Zaharija, iz Abíjeve skupine, in njegova žena je bila izmed Aronovih hčera in njeno ime je bilo Elizabeta.
There was in the dayes of Herode kynge of Iurie a certayne prest named Zacharias of ye course of Abia. And his wyfe was of ye doughters of Aaron: And her name was Elizabeth.
6 Oba sta bila pravična pred Bogom in sta brez krivde živela po vseh Gospodovih zapovedih in odredbah.
Booth were perfect before God and walked in all the lawes and ordinaces of the Lorde that no man coulde fynde fawte with them.
7 Ker je bila Elizabeta jalova nista imela nobenega otroka in oba sta bila zelo zvrhana v letih.
And they had no chylde because that Elizabeth was barre and booth were well stricken in age.
8 In pripetilo se je, medtem ko je pred Bogom opravljal duhovniško službo, po vrstnem redu svoje skupine,
And it cam to passe as he executed the prestes office before god as his course came
9 glede na navado duhovniške službe, je bil na njem žreb, da zažge kadilo, ko je odšel v Gospodov tempelj.
(accordinge to the custome of the prestes office) his lot was to bourne incece.
10 Celotna množica ljudi pa je ob času zažiganja kadila zunaj molila.
And wet into ye teple of ye Lorde and the whoale multitude of ye people were with out in prayer whill the incense was aburnynge.
11 In prikazal se mu je Gospodov angel, stoječ na desni strani kadilnega oltarja.
And ther appered vnto him an angell of the lorde stondinge on the ryght syde of the altare of incense.
12 Ko pa ga je Zaharija zagledal, se je vznemiril in strah ga je spreletel.
And when Zacharias sawe him he was abasshed and feare came on him.
13 Toda angel mu je rekel: »Ne boj se, Zaharija, kajti tvoja molitev je uslišana in tvoja žena Elizabeta ti bo rodila sina in ti boš klical njegovo ime Janez.
And the angell sayde vnto him: feare not Zachary for thy prayer is hearde: And thy wyfe Elizabeth shall beare ye a sonne and thou shalt call his name Iohn
14 Imel boš radost in veselje in mnogi se bodo veselili ob njegovem rojstvu.
and thou shalt have ioye and gladnes and many shall reioyce at his birth.
15 Kajti velik bo v Gospodovih očeh in ne bo pil niti vina niti močne pijače in celó od maternice svoje matere bo izpolnjen s Svetim Duhom.
For he shalbe greate in the sight of the lorde and shall nether drinke wyne ner stronge drinke. And he shalbe filled with the holy goost even in his mothers wombe:
16 In mnoge izmed Izraelovih otrok bo obrnil h Gospodu, njihovemu Bogu.
and many of the chyldren of Israel shall he tourne to their Lorde God.
17 Pred njim bo šel z Elijevim duhom in močjo, da obrne srca očetov k otrokom in neposlušne k modrosti pravičnih; da pripravi ljudstvo, pripravljeno za Gospoda.«
And he shall goo before him in the sprete and power of Helyas to tourne the hertes of the fathers to the chyldren and the vnbelevers to the wysdom of the iuste men: to make the people redy for the Lorde.
18 Zaharija je angelu rekel: »Po čem bom to spoznal? Kajti starec sem in moja žena je zelo zvrhana v letih.«
And Zacharias sayde vnto ye angell: Wher by shall I knowe this? seinge that I am olde and my wyfe well stricken in yeares.
19 Angel mu odgovori in reče: »Jaz sem Gabriel, ki stojim v prisotnosti Boga in poslan sem, da ti govorim in da ti pokažem te vesele novice.
And the angell answered and sayde vnto him: I am Gabriell that stonde in the presens of God and am sent to speake vnto the: and to shewe the these glad tydinges.
20 Glej, ker nisi verjel mojim besedam, ki se bodo uresničile ob njihovem pravem času, boš postal nem in ne boš mogel govoriti do dne, ko se bodo te besede izpolnile.«
And beholde thou shalt be domme and not able to speake vntyll the tyme that these thinges be performed because thou belevedst not my wordes which shalbe fulfilled in their season.
21 In ljudje so čakali na Zaharija in se čudili, da se je tako dolgo mudil v templju.
And the people wayted for Zacharias and mervelled that he taryed in the temple.
22 Ko pa je prišel ven, jim ni mogel spregovoriti, in zaznali so, da je videl v templju videnje, kajti dajal jim je znamenja, ostal pa je brez besed.
And whe he cam oute he could not speake vnto them. Wherby they perceaved that he had sene some vision in the temple. And he beckened vnto them and remayned speachlesse.
23 Pripetilo se je, kakor hitro so bili dnevi njegovega služenja dovršeni, da se je odpravil k svoji lastni hiši.
And it fortuned assone as ye tyme of his office was oute he departed home into his awne housse.
24 Po teh dneh je njegova žena Elizabeta spočela in se pet mesecev skrivala, rekoč:
And after thoose dayes his wyfe Elizabeth coceaved and hyd her sylfe. v. monethes sayinge:
25 »Tako je Gospod ravnal z menoj v dneh, v katerih je pogledal name, da odvzame mojo grajo izmed ljudi.«
This wyse hath God dealte wt me in ye dayes when he loked on me to take from me the rebuke yt I suffred amonge men.
26 V šestem mesecu pa je bil od Boga poslan angel Gabriel v galilejsko mesto, imenovano Nazaret,
And in ye. vi. moneth ye angell Gabriel was sent fro god vnto a cite of Galile named Nazareth
27 k devici, zaročeni z možem, katerega ime je bilo Jožef, iz Davidove hiše; in devici je bilo ime Marija.
to a virgin spoused to a man whose name was Ioseph of ye housse of David and ye virgins name was Mary.
28 Angel je vstopil k njej in rekel: »Pozdravljena, ti, ki si zelo spoštovana, Gospod je s teboj, blagoslovljena si med ženskami.«
And ye angell went in vnto her and sayde: Hayle full of grace ye Lorde is with ye: blessed arte thou amonge wemen.
29 Ko pa ga je zagledala, je bila ob njegovem govoru zaskrbljena in v svojih mislih preudarjala, kakšne vrste pozdrav naj bi to bil.
When she sawe him she was abasshed at his sayinge: and cast in her mynde what maner of salutacion yt shuld be.
30 Angel ji je rekel: »Ne boj se, Marija, kajti pri Bogu si našla naklonjenost.
And ye angell sayde vnto her: feare not Mary: for thou hast founde grace wt god.
31 Glej, v svoji maternici boš spočela in rodila sina in njegovo ime boš klicala JEZUS.
Loo: thou shalt coceave in thy wombe and shalt beare a sonne and shalt call his name Iesus.
32 Velik bo in imenovan bo Sin Najvišjega; in Gospod Bog mu bo dal prestol njegovega očeta Davida
He shalbe greate and shalbe called the sonne of the hyest. And ye lorde God shall geve vnto him the seate of his father David
and he shall raygne over ye housse of Iacob forever and of his kyngdome shalbe none ende. (aiōn g165)
34 Potem je Marija rekla angelu: »Kako se bo to zgodilo, glede na to, da ne poznam moškega?«
Then sayd Mary vnto ye angell: How shall this be seinge I knowe not a man?
35 Angel je odgovoril in ji rekel: »Sveti Duh bo prišel nadte in moč Najvišjega te bo obsenčila, zato bo tudi ta sveta oseba, ki bo rojena od tebe, imenovana Božji Sin.
And ye angell answered and sayd vnto her: The holy goost shall come apon the and ye power of ye hyest shall over shaddowe ye. Therfore also yt holy thinge which shalbe borne shalbe called ye sonne of god.
36 Glej, tvoja sestrična Elizabeta je prav tako v svoji visoki starosti spočela sina, in to je šesti mesec z njo, ki je bila imenovana jalova.
And beholde thy cosen Elizabeth she hath also conceaved a sonne in her age. And this is hyr sixte moneth though she be called barren:
37 Kajti z Bogom nič ne bo nemogoče.«
for wt god can nothinge be vnpossible.
38 Marija je rekla: »Glej, Gospodova pomočnica; naj se mi zgodi glede na tvojo besedo.« In angel je odšel od nje.
And Mary sayd: beholde ye honde mayden of ye lorde be it vnto me even as thou hast sayde. And the angell departed from her.
39 Marija je v tistih dneh vstala in z naglico odšla v hribovito deželo, v Judovo mesto
And Mary arose in thoose dayes and went into ye mountayns wt hast into a cite of Iurie
40 in vstopila v Zaharijevo hišo ter pozdravila Elizabeto.
and entred into the housse of zachary and saluted Elizabeth.
41 In pripetilo se je, ko je Elizabeta zaslišala Marijin pozdrav, da je dete poskočilo v njeni maternici in Elizabeta je bila izpolnjena s Svetim Duhom
And it fortuned as Elizabeth hearde ye salutacion of Mary the babe spronge in her belly. And Elizabeth was filled with the holy goost
42 in zaklicala z močnim glasom ter rekla: »Blagoslovljena si ti med ženskami in blagoslovljen je sad tvoje maternice.
and cryed with a loude voyce and sayde: Blessed arte thou amonge wemen and blessed is the frute of thy wombe.
43 Od kod je meni to, da bi prišla k meni mati mojega Gospoda?
And whence hapeneth this to me that the mother of my Lorde shuld come to me?
44 Kajti glej, brž ko je glas tvojega pozdrava zazvenel v mojih ušesih, je dete v moji maternici od radosti poskočilo.
For loo assone as the voyce of thy salutacion sownded in myne eares the babe sprange in my belly for ioye.
45 Blagoslovljena je tista, ki je verovala, kajti izpolnile se bodo te besede, ki so ji bile povedane od Gospoda.«
And blessed arte thou that belevedst: for thoose thinges shalbe performed wich were tolde ye from the lorde.
46 Marija je rekla: »Moja duša poveličuje Gospoda
And Mary sayde. My soule magnifieth the Lorde.
47 in moj duh se veseli v Bogu, mojem Odrešeniku.
And my sprete reioyseth in god my savioure
48 Kajti ozrl se je na nizek stan svoje pomočnice, kajti glej, odslej me bodo vsi rodovi imenovali blagoslovljeno.
For he hath loked on the povre degre of his honde mayde. Beholde now from hence forth shall all generacions call me blessed.
49 Kajti tisti, ki je mogočen, mi je storil velike stvari in sveto je njegovo ime.
For he that is myghty hath done to me greate thinges and holye is his name.
50 In njegovo usmiljenje je od roda do roda nad tistimi, ki se ga bojijo.
And his mercy is on them that feare him thorow oute all generacions.
51 S svojim laktom je pokazal moč, ponosne je razgnal v domišljiji njihovih src.
He sheweth strength with his arme he scattereth them that are proude in the ymaginacion of their hertes.
52 Mogočne je odstranil z njihovih prestolov in povišal te z nizkim položajem.
He putteth doune the myghty from their seates and exalteth them of lowe degre.
53 Lačne je napolnil z dobrinami, bogate pa je odpustil prazne.
He filleth the hongry with good thinges: and sendeth awaye the ryche emptye.
54 Pomagal je svojemu služabniku Izraelu, v spomin na svoje usmiljenje,
He remenbreth mercy: and helpeth his servaunt Israel.
Even as he promised to oure fathers Abraham and to his seede for ever. (aiōn g165)
56 Marija je z njo ostala približno tri mesece in se vrnila v svojo lastno hišo.
And mary aboode with hyr aboute a. iii. monethes and retourned agayne to hyr awne housse.
57 Torej prišel je Elizabetin polni čas, ko naj bi rodila; in rodila je sina.
Elizabethes tyme was come that she shuld be delyvered and she brought forth a sonne.
58 Njeni sosedje in njeni sorodniki so slišali, kako je Gospod nad njo izkazal veliko usmiljenje in veselili so se z njo.
And her neghboures and her cosins hearde tell how the lorde had shewed great mercy vpon her and they reioysed with her.
59 Pripetilo pa se je, da so na osmi dan prišli, da obrežejo otroka in poimenovali so ga Zaharija, po imenu njegovega očeta.
And it fortuned ye eyght daye: they cam to circumcise the chylde: and called his name zacharias after the name of his father.
60 Njegova mati pa je odgovorila in rekla: »Ne tako, temveč se bo imenoval Janez.«
How be it his mother answered and sayd: not so but he shalbe called Ihon.
61 Oni pa so ji rekli: »Nikogar v tvojem sorodstvu ni, ki je poimenovan s tem imenom.«
And they sayd vnto hyr: Ther is none of thy kynne that is named wt this name.
62 In naredili so znamenja njegovemu očetu, kako bi ga on imenoval.
And they made signes to his father how he wolde have him called.
63 In prosil je za pisalno deščico ter napisal, rekoč: »Njegovo ime je Janez.« In vsi so se čudili.
And he axed for wrytynge tables and wroote saying: his name is Iohn. And they marvelled all.
64 In njegova usta so se takoj odprla in njegov jezik se je sprostil in spregovoril je ter hvalil Boga.
And his mouthe was opened immediatly and his tonge also and he spake lawdynge God.
65 In strah je prišel na vse, ki so prebivali naokoli njih; in vse te besede so se razglasile naokoli po vsej judejski hriboviti deželi.
And feare came on all the that dwelt nye vnto them. And all these sayinges were noysed abroade throughout all ye hyll coutre of Iurie
66 In vsi, ki so jih slišali, so si jih položili v svoja srca, rekoč: »Kakšne vrste otrok bo to!« In Gospodova roka je bila z njim.
and all they yt herde the layde them vp in their hertes saying: What maner chylde shall this be? And the honde of ye lorde was with him.
67 In njegov oče Zaharija je bil izpolnjen s Svetim Duhom in prerokoval, rekoč:
And his father zacharias was filled with the holy goost and prophisyed sayinge:
68 »Blagoslovljen bodi Gospod, Izraelov Bog; kajti obiskal je in odkupil svoje ljudi
Blessed be the Lorde God of Israel for he hath visited and redemed his people.
69 in za nas je dvignil rog rešitve duš v hiši svojega služabnika Davida,
And hath reysed vp an horne of salvacion vnto vs in the housse of his servaunt David.
Even as he promised by ye mouth of his holy prophetes which were sens ye worlde began (aiōn g165)
71 da bi bili mi lahko rešeni pred našimi sovražniki in iz roke vseh, ki nas sovražijo,
That we shuld be saved from oure enemies and from the hondis of all that hate vs:
72 da opravi usmiljenje, obljubljeno našim očetom in se spomni svoje svete zaveze,
To fulfill the mercy promised to oure fathers and to remember his holy covenaunt.
73 prisege, s katero je prisegel našemu očetu Abrahamu,
And to performe the oothe which he sware to oure father Adraham
74 da nam bo zagotovil, da mu bomo osvobojeni iz roke svojih sovražnikov, lahko služili brez strahu,
for to geve vs. That we delyvered oute of ye hondes of oure enemyes myght serve him with oute feare
75 v svetosti in pravičnosti pred njim, vse dni našega življenja.
all the dayes of oure lyfe in suche holynes and ryghtewesnes that are accept before him.
76 Ti pa, otrok, boš imenovan prerok Najvišjega, kajti šel boš pred Gospodov obraz, da pripraviš njegove poti,
And thou chylde shalt be called the Prophet of the hyest: for thou shalt goo before the face of the lorde to prepare his wayes:
77 da daš njegovim ljudem spoznanje o rešitvi duš z odpuščanjem njihovih grehov,
And to geve knowlege of salvacion vnto his people for the remission of synnes:
78 po nežnem usmiljenju našega Boga; po katerem nas je obiskalo svitanje od zgoraj,
Through the tender mercy of oure God wherby the daye springe from an hye hath visited vs.
79 da da svetlobo tem, ki sedijo v temi in v smrtni senci, da vodi naša stopala na pot miru.«
To geve light to the that sate in darcknes and in shadowe of deth and to gyde oure fete into the waye of peace.
80 Otrok pa je rasel in se krepil v duhu in bil je v puščavah do dneva njegove pojavitve Izraelu.
And the chylde grew and wexed stronge in sprete and was in wyldernes tyll the daye cam when he shuld shewe him sylfe vnto the Israhelites.
