1 Torej to so kralji dežele, ki so jo Izraelovi otroci udarili in njihovo deželo vzeli v last na drugi strani Jordana, proti sončnemu vzhodu, od reke Arnón, do gore Hermon in vso ravnino na vzhodu:

Now, these, are the kings of the land, whom the sons of Israel had smitten, and of whose land they had taken possession, over the Jordan, towards the rising of the sun, —from the ravine of Arnon, as far as Mount Hermon, and all the waste plain, on the east:

2 amoréjski kralj Sihón, ki je prebival v Hešbónu in vladal od Aroêrja, ki je na bregu reke Arnón in od sredine reke in od polovice Gileáda, celo do reke Jabók, kar je meja Amónovih otrok;

Sihon, king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, —ruling from Aroer, which is on the edge of the ravine of Arnon, and the middle of the ravine, and half Gilead, even as far as the ravine Jabbok, the boundary of the sons of Ammon;

3 in od ravnine do Kinérotskega morja na vzhodu in do ravninskega morja, torej slanega morja na vzhodu, pot do Bet Ješimóta in od juga pod Ašdód-Pisgo.

and the waste plain as far as the sea of Chinneroth, on the east, even as far as the sea of the waste plain, the salt sea, on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth, —and, on the south, under the slopes of Pisgah;

4 Pokrajina bašánskega kralja Oga, ki je bila od preostanka velikanov, ki so prebivali pri Aštarótu in pri Edréi

and the boundary of Og, king of Bashan, of the remnant of the giants, —him who dwelt in Ashtaroth and in Edrei;

5 in je kraljeval na gori Hermon, v Salhi in po vsem Bašánu, do meje Gešuréjcev in Maahčánov in polovice Gileáda, meje Sihóna, kralja v Hešbónu.

ruling also in Mount Hermon, and in Salecah, and in all Bashan, as far as the boundary of the Geshurites, and the Maacathites, —and half Gilead, the boundary of Sihon king of Heshbon: —

6 Te so udarili Gospodov služabnik Mojzes in Izraelovi otroci. Gospodov služabnik Mojzes jo je dal v posest Rubenovcem in Gádovcem in polovici Manásejevega rodu.

Moses the servant of Yahweh, and the sons of Israel, had smitten them, —and Moses the servant of Yahweh, had given it, as a possession, unto the Reubenites, and unto the Gadites, and unto the half tribe of Manasseh.

7 Ti so kralji dežele, ki so jo Józue in Izraelovi otroci udarili na tej strani Jordana na zahodu, od Báal Gada, v dolini Libanon, celo do gore Halak, ki gre gor k Seírju, ki jo je Józue izročil Izraelovim rodovom za posest, glede na njihove oddelke;

And, these, are the kings of the land, whom Joshua and the sons of Israel smote over the Jordan, towards the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of the Lebanon, even as far as the Mount Halak that goeth up towards Seir, —and Joshua gave it unto the tribes of Israel, as a possession, according to their portions;

8 po gorah, po dolinah, po ravninah, po izvirih, po divjini in po južni deželi: Hetejce, Amoréjce in Kánaance, Perizéjce, Hivéjce in Jebusejce.

in the hill country and in the lowland, and in the waste plain, and in the slopes, and in the desert, and in the south, —the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite: —

The king of Jericho, one, the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one,

10 kralj Jeruzalema, eden; kralj Hebróna, eden;

The king of Jerusalem, one, the king of Hebron, one,

11 kralj Jarmúta, eden; kralj Lahíša, eden;

The king of Jarmuth, one, the king of Lachish, one,

12 kralj Eglóna, eden; kralj Gezerja, eden;

The king of Eglon, one, the king of Gezer, one,

13 kralj Debírja, eden; kralj Gederja, eden;

The king of Debir, one, the king of Geder, one,

14 kralj Horme, eden; kralj Aráda, eden;

The king of Hormah, one, the king of Arad, one,
