Jeremija 19

1 Tako govori Gospod: »Pojdi in dobi si lončarjev vrč in vzemi od starcev izmed ljudstva in od starcev izmed duhovnikov;

Thus he said Yahweh go and you will buy a bottle of a potter of earthenware and some of [the] elders of the people and some of [the] elders of the priests.

2 in pojdi naprej v dolino sina Hinómovega, ki je pri vhodu vzhodnih velikih vrat in tam razglasi besede, ki ti jih bom povedal

And you will go out to [the] valley of Ben Hinnom which [is at] [the] entrance of [the] gate of (the potsherd *Q(k)*) and you will proclaim there the words which I will speak to you.

3 in reci: ›Poslušajte besedo od Gospoda, oh Judovi kralji in prebivalci Jeruzalema: ›Tako govori Gospod nad bojevniki, Izraelov Bog: ›Glejte, privedel bom zlo nad ta kraj, kdorkoli bo slišal o njem, mu bo v ušesih zvenelo.

And you will say hear [the] word of Yahweh O kings of Judah and [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to bring calamity on the place this which every [one who] hears of it they will tingle ears his.

4 Ker so me zapustili in odtujili ta kraj in na njem zažigali kadilo drugim bogovom, ki jih niti oni niti njihovi očetje niti Judovi kralji niso poznali in so ta kraj napolnili s krvjo nedolžnih;

Because - that they have forsaken me and they have treated as foreign the place this and they have made smoke in it to gods other which not they knew them they and ancestors their and [the] kings of Judah and they have filled the place this [the] blood of innocent [ones].

5 zgradili so tudi Báalove visoke kraje, da svoje sinove sežigajo z ognjem za žgalne daritve Báalu, kar jim nisem zapovedal niti tega nisem govoril niti mi to ni prišlo na um.

And they have built [the] high places of Baal to burn children their in the fire burnt offerings to Baal which not I commanded and not I spoke and not it came up on heart my.

6 Zato, glejte, pridejo dnevi, ‹ govori Gospod, ›ko ta kraj ne bo več imenovan Tofet niti Dolina sina Hinómovega, temveč Dolina pokola.

Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and not it will be called to the place this again Topheth and [the] valley of Ben Hinnom that except [the] valley of slaughter.

7 Nasvet Juda in Jeruzalema bom na tem kraju naredil prazen in povzročil jim bom, da padejo pod mečem pred svojimi sovražniki in po rokah tistih, ki jim strežejo po življenju. Njihova trupla bom izročil, da bodo hrana perjadi neba in zemeljskim zverem.

And I will make void [the] plan of Judah and Jerusalem in the place this and I will make fall them by the sword before enemies their and by [the] hand of [those who] seek life their and I will give corpse[s] their to food to [the] bird[s] of the heavens and to [the] animal[s] of the earth.

8 To mesto bom naredil zapuščeno in sikanje. Vsak, kdor bo šel mimo, bo osupel in sikal zaradi vseh njegovih nadlog.

And I will make the city this into a waste and into a hissing every [one who] passes by at it he will be appalled and he may hiss on all wounds its.

9 Povzročil jim bom, da jedo meso svojih sinov in meso svojih hčera in vsak bo jedel meso svojega prijatelja, v obleganju in strogosti, s katero jih bodo stisnili njihovi sovražniki in tisti, ki jim strežejo po življenju.

And I will make eat them [the] flesh of sons their and [the] flesh of daughters their and everyone [the] flesh of neighbor his they will eat in [the] siege and in [the] distress which they will press them enemies their and [those who] seek life their.

10 Potem boš razbil vrč pred očmi mož, ki gredo s teboj

And you will break the bottle to [the] eyes of the men who go with you.

11 in jim boš rekel: ›Tako govori Gospod nad bojevniki: ›Celo tako bom zlomil to ljudstvo in to mesto, kakor nekdo razbija lončarjevo posodo, da ne more biti narejena ponovno cela. Pokopavali jih bodo v Tofetu, dokler ne bo nobenega prostora za pokop.

And you will say to them thus he says - Yahweh of hosts thus I will break the people this and the city this just as someone breaks [the] vessel of the potter which not it will be able to be repaired again and in Topheth people will bury from not room to bury.

12 Tako bom storil temu kraju, ‹ govori Gospod ›in njegovim prebivalcem in to mesto bom naredil celó kot Tofet.

Thus I will do to the place this [the] utterance of Yahweh and to inhabitants its and to make the city this like Topheth.

13 Hiše Jeruzalema in hiše Judovih kraljev bodo omadeževane kakor kraj Tofet, zaradi vseh hiš, na čigar strehah so zažigali kadilo vsej vojski neba in izlivali pitne daritve drugim bogovom.‹«

And they will be [the] houses of Jerusalem and [the] houses of [the] kings of Judah like [the] place of Topheth the unclean [things] to all the houses which people made smoke on roofs their to all [the] host of the heavens and they poured out drink offerings to gods other.

14 Potem je iz Tofeta prišel Jeremija, kamor ga je poslal Gospod, da prerokuje. Stopil je na dvor Gospodove hiše in vsemu ljudstvu rekel:

And he came Jeremiah from Topheth where he had sent him Yahweh there to prophesy and he stood in [the] court of [the] house of Yahweh and he said to all the people.

15 »Tako govori Gospod nad bojevniki, Izraelov Bog: ›Glejte, nad to mesto in nad vse njegove kraje bom privedel vse zlo, ki sem ga proglasil zoper njega, ker so otrdili svoje vratove, da ne bi slišali mojih besed.«

Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I ([am] about to bring *Q(k)*) to the city this and on all cities its all the calamity which I have spoken on it for they have stiffened neck their to not to hear words my.
