1 Torej to so rodovi Ezava, ki je Edóm.
And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau that [is] Edom.
2 Ezav je svoje žene vzel iz Kánaana: Ado, hčer Hetejca Elóna, Oholibámo, hčer Anája, hčer Hivéjca Cibóna
Esau he took wives his from [the] daughters of Canaan Adah [the] daughter of Elon the Hittite and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon the Hivite.
3 in Basemáto, Izmaelovo hčer, Nebajótovo sestro.
And Basemath [the] daughter of Ishmael [the] sister of Nebaioth.
4 Ada je Ezavu rodila Elifáza, Basemáta je rodila Reguéla,
And she bore Adah to Esau Eliphaz and Basemath she bore Reuel.
5 Oholibáma je rodila Jeúša, Jaláma in Koraha. To so Ezavovi sinovi, ki so se mu rodili v kánaanski deželi.
And Oholibamah she bore (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Jalam and Korah these [were] [the] sons of Esau who they were born to him in [the] land of Canaan.
6 Ezav je vzel svoje žene, svoje sinove, svoje hčere, vse osebe svoje hiše, svojo živino, vse svoje živali in vse svoje imetje, ki ga je pridobil v kánaanski deželi in odšel v deželo izpred obličja svojega brata Jakoba.
And he took Esau wives his and sons his and daughters his and all [the] people of household his and livestock his and all animal[s] his and all possession[s] his which he had accumulated in [the] land of Canaan and he went to a land [away] from before Jacob brother his.

For it was possession[s] their [too] much for dwelling together and not it was able [the] land of sojournings their to support them because of livestock their.

And he dwelt Esau in [the] hill country of Seir Esau that [is] Edom.
9 To so rodovi Ezava, očeta Edómcev na gorovju Seír.
And these [are] [the] accounts of Esau [the] ancestor of Edom in [the] hill country of Seir.
10 To so imena Ezavovih sinov: Elifáz, sin Ezavove žene Ade in Reguél, sin Ezavove žene Basemáte.
These [are] [the] names of [the] sons of Esau Eliphaz [the] son of Adah [the] wife of Esau Reuel [the] son of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
11 Elifázovi sinovi so bili: Temán, Omár, Cefó, Gatám in Kenáz.
And they were [the] sons of Eliphaz Teman Omar Zepho and Gatam and Kenaz.
12 Timna je bila priležnica Ezavovemu sinu Elifázu in Elifázu je rodila Amáleka. To so bili sinovi Ezavove žene Ade.
And Timna - she was a concubine of Eliphaz [the] son of Esau and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek these [were] [the] sons of Adah [the] wife of Esau.
13 To so sinovi Reguéla: Nahat, Zerah, Šamá in Mizá. To so bili sinovi Ezavove žene Basemáte.
And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel Nahath and Zerah Shammah and Mizzah these they were [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
14 Ti so bili sinovi Ezavove žene Oholibáme, hčere Anája, Cibónove hčere; Ezavu je rodila Jeúša, Jaláma in Koraha.
And these they were [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] daughter of Zibeon [the] wife of Esau and she bore to Esau (Jeush *Q(K)*) and Jalam and Korah.
15 To so bili vojvode Ezavovih sinov. Sinovi Elifáza, prvorojenega Ezavovega sina: vojvoda Temán, vojvoda Omár, vojvoda Cefó, vojvoda Kenáz,
These [were] [the] chiefs of [the] sons of Esau [the] sons of Eliphaz [the] firstborn of Esau chief Teman chief Omar chief Zepho chief Kenaz.
16 vojvoda Korah, vojvoda Gatám in vojvoda Amálek. To so vojvode, ki so izšli iz Elifáza v deželi Edóm. To so bili Adini sinovi.
Chief Korah chief Gatam chief Amalek these [were] [the] chiefs of Eliphaz in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Adah.
17 To so sinovi Ezavovega sina Reguéla: vojvoda Nahat, vojvoda Zerah, vojvoda Šamá in vojvoda Mizá. To so vojvode, ki so izšli iz Reguéla v Edómovi deželi. To so sinovi Ezavove žene Basemáte.
And these [were] [the] sons of Reuel [the] son of Esau chief Nahath chief Zerah chief Shammah chief Mizzah these [were] [the] chiefs of Reuel in [the] land of Edom these [were] [the] sons of Basemath [the] wife of Esau.
18 To pa so sinovi Ezavove žene Oholibáme: vojvoda Jeúš, vojvoda Jalám, vojvoda Korah. To so bili vojvode, ki so izšli iz Ezavove žene Oholibáme, Anájeve hčere.
And these [were] [the] sons of Oholibamah [the] wife of Esau chief Jeush chief Jalam chief Korah these [were] [the] chiefs of Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah [the] wife of Esau.
19 To so Ezavovi sinovi, ki je Edóm in to so njihove vojvode.
These [were] [the] sons of Esau and these [were] chiefs their that [is] Edom.
20 To so sinovi Horéjca Seírja, ki je naselil deželo: Lotán, Šobál, Cibón, Anáj,
These [were] [the] sons of Seir the Horite [the] inhabitants of the land Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah.
21 Dišón, Ecer in Dišán. To so vojvode Horéjcev, Seírjevi otroci v deželi Edóm.
And Dishon and Ezer and Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] [the] sons of Seir in [the] land of Edom.
22 Lotánova sinova sta bila Horí in Hemám; Lotánova sestra pa je bila Timna.
And they were [the] sons of Lotan Hori and Hemam and [the] sister of Lotan [was] Timna.
23 Šobálovi otroci so bili tile: Alván, Manáhat, Ebál, Šefo in Onám.
And these [were] [the] sons of Shobal Alvan and Manahath and Ebal Shepho and Onam.
24 To sta Cibónova otroka: oba, Ajá in Aná. To je bil ta Anáj, ki je našel mule v divjini, ko je pasel osle svojega očeta Cibóna.
And these [were] [the] sons of Zibeon and Aiah and Anah he [was] Anah who he found the hot springs in the wilderness when was pasturing he the donkeys of Zibeon father his.

And these [were] [the] children of Anah Dishon and Oholibamah [the] daughter of Anah.
26 To so Dišónovi otroci: Hemdán, Ešbán, Jitrán in Kerán.
And these [were] [the] sons of Dishan Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Keran.
27 Ecerjevi otroci so tile: Bilhán, Zaaván in Akán.
These [were] [the] sons of Ezer Bilhan and Zaavan and Akan.
28 Dišánova otroka sta tale [dva]: Uc in Arán.
These [were] [the] sons of Dishan Uz and Aran.
29 To so vojvode, ki so izšli iz Horéjcev: vojvoda Lotán, vojvoda Šobál, vojvoda Cibón, vojvoda Anáj,
These [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] chief Lotan chief Shobal chief Zibeon chief Anah.
30 vojvoda Dišón, vojvoda Ecer in vojvoda Dišán. To so vojvode, ki so izšli iz Horéjcev, med njihovimi vojvodami v deželi Seír.
Chief Dishon chief Ezer chief Dishan these [were] [the] chiefs of the Horite[s] to chiefs their in [the] land of Seir.
31 To so kralji, ki so kraljevali v edómski deželi, preden je katerikoli kralj kraljeval nad Izraelovimi otroki.
And these [were] the kings who they reigned in [the] land of Edom before reigned a king of [the] people of Israel.

And he died Jobab and he reigned in place of him Husham from [the] land of the Temanite[s].
35 Hušám je umrl in namesto njega je zakraljeval Bedádov sin Hadád, ki je udaril Midján na moábskem polju in ime tega mesta je bilo Avít.
And he died Husham and he reigned in place of him Hadad [the] son of Bedad who defeated Midian in [the] region of Moab and [the] name of city his [was] Avith.
36 Hadád je umrl in namesto njega je zakraljeval Samlá iz Masréke.
And he died Hadad and he reigned in place of him Samlah from Masrekah.
37 Samlá je umrl in namesto njega je zakraljeval Šaúl iz Rehobóta ob reki.
And he died Samlah and he reigned in place of him Shaul from Rehoboth the River.
38 Šaúl je umrl in namesto njega je zakraljeval Ahbórjev sin Báal Hanán.
And he died Shaul and he reigned in place of him Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor.
39 Ahbórjev sin Báal Hanán je umrl in namesto njega je zakraljeval Hadár. Ime njegovega mesta je bilo Pagú in ime njegove žene je bilo Mehetabéla, hči Me-Zahábove hčere Matréde.
And he died Baal-Hanan [the] son of Achbor and he reigned in place of him Hadar and [the] name of city his [was] Pau and [the] name of wife his [was] Mehetabel [the] daughter of Matred [the] daughter of Me-Zahab.
40 To so imena vojvod, ki so izšli iz Ezava, glede na njihove družine, po njihovih krajih, po njihovih imenih: vojvoda Timná, vojvoda Alvá, vojvoda Jetét,
And these [were] [the] names of [the] chiefs of Esau to clans their to places their by names their chief Timna chief Alvah chief Jetheth.
41 vojvoda Oholibáma, vojvoda Elá, vojvoda Pinón,
Chief Oholibamah chief Elah chief Pinon.
42 vojvoda Kenáz, vojvoda Temán, vojvoda Mibcár,
Chief Kenaz chief Teman chief Mibzar.
43 vojvoda Magdiél, vojvoda Irám. To so edómski vojvode, glede na njihova prebivališča v deželi njihove posesti. On je Ezav, oče Edómcev.
Chief Magdiel chief Iram these - [were] [the] chiefs of Edom to dwelling places their in [the] land of possession their that [was] Esau [the] ancestor of Edom.
