Ezra 2
1 Torej to so otroci iz province, ki se je dvignila iz ujetništva, izmed tistih, ki so bili odvedeni proč, ki jih je babilonski kralj Nebukadnezar odvedel v Babilon in so ponovno prišli v Jeruzalem in Judejo, vsak v svoje mesto,
Now these are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and that returned unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;

The children of Pahath-moab, of the children of Jeshua [and] Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.

The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

The children of Zattu, nine hundred forty and five.

57 Šefatjájevi otroci, Hatílovi otroci, Pohêret Cebájimovi otroci, Amíjevi otroci.
the children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth-hazzebaim, the children of Ami.
58 Vseh Netinimcev in otrok Salomonovih služabnikov je bilo tristo dvaindevetdeset.
All the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred ninety and two.
59 In to so bili tisti, ki so odšli gor iz Tel Melaha, Tel Harše, Kerúba, Adana in Imêrja, toda niso mogli pokazati hiše svojega očeta in svojega semena, če so bili iz Izraela:
And these were they which went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, [and] Immer: but they could not shew their fathers’ houses, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:

the children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.
61 Izmed otrok duhovnikov: Habajájevi otroci, Kocovi otroci, otroci Barzilája; ki si je vzel ženo izmed hčera Gileádca Barzilája in je bil imenovan po njihovem imenu.
And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
62 Ti so iskali svoj seznam med tistimi, ki so bili prešteti po rodovniku, toda niso bili najdeni, zato so bili le-ti, kakor omadeževani, odstranjeni od duhovništva.
These sought their register [among] those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they deemed polluted and put from the priesthood.
63 In Tirsata jim je rekel, da naj ne jedo od najsvetejših stvari, dokler ne vstane duhovnik z Urímom in Tumímom.
And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
64 Celotne skupnosti je bilo skupaj dvainštirideset tisoč tristo šestdeset,
The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,
65 poleg njihovih služabnikov in njihovih služabnic, od katerih jih je bilo tam sedem tisoč tristo sedemintrideset. Tam je bilo med njimi dvesto pevcev in pevk.
beside their menservants and their maidservants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and they had two hundred singing men and singing women.
66 Njihovih konjev je bilo sedemsto šestintrideset, njihovih mul dvesto petinštirideset,
Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
67 njihovih kamel štiristo petintrideset in njihovih oslov šest tisoč sedemsto dvajset.
their camels, four hundred thirty and five; [their] asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
68 Nekateri izmed vodij očetov so, ko so prišli v Gospodovo hišo, ki je v Jeruzalemu, prostovoljno darovali za Božjo hišo, da se ta postavi na njenem mestu.
And some of the heads of fathers’ [houses], when they came to the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God to set it up in its place:
69 Po svoji zmožnosti so v delovni sklad darovali enainšestdeset tisoč darejkov zlata, pet tisoč funtov srebra in sto duhovniških oblačil.
they gave after their ability into the treasury of the work threescore and one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests’ garments.
70 Tako so duhovniki, Lévijevci, nekateri izmed ljudstva, pevci, vratarji in Netinimci prebivali v svojih mestih in ves Izrael v svojih mestih.
So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinim, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
