Ezekiel 6

1 K meni je prišla Gospodova beseda, rekoč:

And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

2 »Človeški sin, naravnaj svoj obraz proti Izraelovim goram in prerokuj zoper njih

Son of man, set thy face against the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them!

3 in reci: ›Ve Izraelove gore, poslušajte besedo Gospoda Boga: ›Tako govori Gospod Bog goram in hribom, rekam in dolinam: ›Glejte jaz, celó jaz, bom nad vas privedel meč in uničil bom vaše visoke kraje.

And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah! Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the plains and to the valleys: Behold, I, even I, will bring the sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places;

4 Vaši oltarji bodo zapuščeni in vaši kipi bodo razbiti, in jaz bom vrgel dol vaše umorjene ljudi pred vaše malike.

and your altars shall be desolate, and your sun-images shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain before your idols.

5 Mrtva trupla Izraelovih otrok bom položil pred njihove malike in vaše kosti bom raztrosil okoli vaših oltarjev.

And I will lay the carcasses of the sons of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.

6 V vseh vaših bivališčih bodo mesta opustošena in visoki kraji bodo zapuščeni, da bodo vaši oltarji lahko opustošeni in zapuščeni in bodo vaši maliki lahko razbiti in prenehali [obstajati] in bodo vaše podobe lahko posekane in bodo vaša dela lahko odpravljena.

In all places where ye dwell shall the cities be laid waste, and the high places be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken, and cease, and your sun-images may be cut down, and your works may be destroyed.

7 Umorjeni bodo padli v vaši sredi in spoznali boste, da jaz sem Gospod.

And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, that ye may know that I am Jehovah.

8 Vendar bom pustil ostanek, da boste lahko imeli nekatere, ki bodo pobegnili meču med narodi, ko boste razkropljeni po deželah.

Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall have escaped the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.

9 Tisti izmed vas, ki pobegnejo, se me bodo spomnili med narodi, kamor bodo odvedeni ujetniki, kajti zlomljen sem z njihovim vlačugarskim srcem, ki je odšlo od mene in z njihovimi očmi, ki se gredo vlačugat za njihovimi maliki in gnusili se bodo samim sebi zaradi zla, ki so ga zagrešili pri vseh svojih ogabnostih.

And they of you that escape shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, when I have broken their whorish heart which departed from me, and their eyes which went lusting after their idols; and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

10 In spoznali bodo, da jaz sem Gospod in da nisem zaman rekel, da jim bom storil to zlo.‹«

Then shall they know that I am Jehovah, and that I have not said in vain, that I would do all this evil to them.

11 Tako govori Gospod Bog: »Udari s svojo roko in zatopotaj s svojim stopalom ob tla ter reci: ›Ojoj za vse zle ogabnosti Izraelove hiše! Kajti padli bodo pod mečem, od lakote in kužne bolezni.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Smite upon thy hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence shall they fall.

12 Kdor je daleč, bo umrl od kužne bolezni, in kdor je blizu, bo padel pod mečem, in kdor preostaja in je oblegan, bo umrl od lakote. Tako bom nad njimi dovršil svojo razjarjenost.

He that is far off shall die by pestilence, and he that is near shall fall by the sword, and he that remaineth and is preserved shall die by famine. Thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.

13 Potem boste vedeli, da jaz sem Gospod, ko bodo njihovi pobiti ljudje [ležali] med njihovimi maliki, naokoli njihovih oltarjev, na vsakem visokem hribu, po vseh vrhovih gora in pod vsakim zelenim drevesom in pod vsakim debelim hrastom, [na] kraju, kjer so vsem svojim malikom darovali prijetno dišavo.

Then shall ye know that I am Jehovah, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, upon all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, in every place where they offered sweet savor to all their idols.

14 Tako bom svojo roko iztegnil nadnje in njihovo deželo naredil zapuščeno, da, bolj zapuščeno kakor divjino proti Dibli, v vseh njihovih prebivališčih, in spoznali bodo, da jaz sem Gospod.‹«

So will I stretch out my hand against them, and make the land desolate; yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
