2 Samuel 11

1 Pripetilo se je, potem ko je minilo leto, ob času, ko gredo kralji na bitko, da je David poslal Joába in z njim svoje služabnike in ves Izrael in uničili so Amónove otroke in oblegali Rabo. Toda David se je še vedno zadrževal v Jeruzalemu.

2 Ob večernem času se je pripetilo, da se je David dvignil iz svoje postelje in hodil po strehi kraljeve hiše in s strehe je videl žensko, ki se je umivala in ženska je bila na pogled zelo krasna.

and to be to/for time [the] evening and to arise: rise David from upon bed his and to go: walk upon roof house: home [the] king and to see: see woman to wash: wash from upon [the] roof and [the] woman pleasant appearance much

3 David je poslal in poizvedel za žensko. Nekdo je rekel: » Mar ni to Batšéba, Eliámova hči, žena Hetejca Urijája?«

and to send: depart David and to seek to/for woman and to say not this Bathsheba Bathsheba daughter Eliam woman: wife Uriah [the] Hittite

4 David je poslal poslance in jo vzel. Vstopila je k njemu in ležal je z njo, kajti očiščena je bila od svoje nečistosti in vrnila se je v svojo hišo.

and to send: depart David messenger and to take: take her and to come (in): come to(wards) him and to lie down: lay down with her and he/she/it to consecrate: consecate from uncleanness her and to return: return to(wards) house: home her

5 Ženska je spočela in poslala in povedala Davidu ter rekla: »Jaz sem z otrokom.«

and to conceive [the] woman and to send: depart and to tell to/for David and to say pregnant I

6 David je poslal k Joábu, rekoč: »Pošlji mi Hetejca Urijája.« In Joáb je poslal Urijája k Davidu.

and to send: depart David to(wards) Joab to send: depart to(wards) me [obj] Uriah [the] Hittite and to send: depart Joab [obj] Uriah to(wards) David

7 Ko je Urijá prišel k njemu, je David od njega zahteval, kako je šlo Joábu in kako je šlo ljudstvu in kako je uspevala vojna.

and to come (in): come Uriah to(wards) him and to ask David to/for peace: greeting Joab and to/for peace: greeting [the] people and to/for peace: greeting [the] battle

8 David je Urijáju rekel: »Pojdi dol k svoji hiši in si umij stopala.« Urijá je odšel iz kraljeve hiše in sledilo mu je darilo kraljeve jedi.

and to say David to/for Uriah to go down to/for house: home your and to wash: wash foot your and to come out: come Uriah from house: home [the] king and to come out: come after him tribute [the] king

9 Toda Urijá je spal pri vratih kraljeve hiše z vsemi služabniki svojega gospoda in ni odšel dol k svoji hiši.

10 Ko so Davidu povedali, rekoč: »Urijá ni odšel dol k svoji hiši, « je David rekel Urijáju: »Ali ne prihajaš iz svojega potovanja? Zakaj potem nisi šel dol k svoji hiši?«

11 Urijá je Davidu rekel: »Skrinja, Izrael in Juda prebivajo v šotorih in moj gospod Joáb in služabniki mojega gospoda so utaborjeni na odprtih poljih; ali bom jaz potem šel v svojo hišo, da jem, da pijem in da ležim s svojo ženo? Kakor ti živiš in kakor živi tvoja duša, ne bom storil te stvari.«

and to say Uriah to(wards) David [the] ark and Israel and Judah to dwell in/on/with booth and lord my Joab and servant/slave lord my upon face: surface [the] land: country to camp and I to come (in): come to(wards) house: home my to/for to eat and to/for to drink and to/for to lie down: lay down with woman: wife my alive your and alive soul your if: surely no to make: do [obj] [the] word: thing [the] this

12 In David je rekel Urijáju: »Ostani tukaj tudi danes, jutri pa ti bom pustil oditi.« Tako je Urijá ostal v Jeruzalemu ta dan in naslednji dan.

13 Ko ga je David poklical, je pred njim jedel in pil in ga je opijanil in zvečer je odšel ven, da bi s služabniki svojega gospoda legel na svojo posteljo, toda ni šel dol k svoji hiši.

and to call: call to to/for him David and to eat to/for face: before his and to drink and be drunk him and to come out: come in/on/with evening to/for to lie down: lay down in/on/with bed his with servant/slave lord his and to(wards) house: home his not to go down

14 Zjutraj pa se je zgodilo, da je David napisal pismo Joábu in to poslal po Urijájevi roki.

and to be in/on/with morning and to write David scroll: document to(wards) Joab and to send: depart in/on/with hand: power Uriah

15 V pismu je napisal, rekoč: »Postavite Urijája na sprednji del najbolj vroče bitke in se umaknite od njega, da bo lahko udarjen in umre.«

and to write in/on/with scroll: document to/for to say to give [obj] Uriah to(wards) opposite face: before [the] battle [the] strong and to return: return from after him and to smite and to die

16 Pripetilo se je, ko je Joáb opazoval mesto, da je Urijája določil na kraj, kjer je vedel, da so bili hrabri možje.

and to be in/on/with to keep: look at Joab to(wards) [the] city and to give: put [obj] Uriah to(wards) [the] place which to know for human strength there

17 Možje iz mesta so odšli ven in se borili z Joábom in tam so padli nekateri izmed ljudstva, izmed Davidovih služabnikov in tudi Hetejec Urijá je umrl.

and to come out: come human [the] city and to fight with Joab and to fall: kill from [the] people from servant/slave David and to die also Uriah [the] Hittite

18 Potem je Joáb poslal in Davidu povedal vse stvari glede vojne

and to send: depart Joab and to tell to/for David [obj] all word: deed [the] battle

19 in naročil poslancu, rekoč: »Ko boš končal s sporočanjem stvari kralju glede vojne

and to command [obj] [the] messenger to/for to say like/as to end: finish you [obj] all word: deed [the] battle to/for to speak: speak to(wards) [the] king

20 in če bo tako, da se bo vzdignil kraljevi bes in ti reče: ›Zakaj ste se približali tako blizu mesta, ko ste se bojevali? Mar niste vedeli, da bodo streljali iz obzidja?

and to be if to ascend: rise rage [the] king and to say to/for you why? to approach: approach to(wards) [the] city to/for to fight not to know [obj] which to shoot from upon [the] wall

21 Kdo je udaril Jerubéšetovega sina Abiméleha? Ali ni ženska iz obzidja vrgla nanj kos mlinskega kamna, da je umrl v Tebécu? Zakaj ste se približali obzidju?‹ Potem reci: ›Tudi tvoj služabnik Hetejec Urijá je mrtev.‹«

22 Tako je poslanec odšel in prišel in pokazal Davidu vse, za kar ga je Joáb poslal.

23 Poslanec je Davidu rekel: »Ljudje so zagotovo prevladali zoper nas in prišli ven, k nam na polje in mi smo bili nad njimi celo do vhoda velikih vrat.

and to say [the] messenger to(wards) David for to prevail upon us [the] human and to come out: come to(wards) us [the] land: country and to be upon them till entrance [the] gate

24 In strelci so streljali iz obzidja na tvoje služabnike; in nekateri izmed kraljevih služabnikov so mrtvi in tudi tvoj služabnik Hetejec Urijá je mrtev.«

(and to shoot *Q(K)*) ([the] to shoot *Q(k)*) to(wards) servant/slave your from upon [the] wall and to die from servant/slave [the] king and also servant/slave your Uriah [the] Hittite to die

25 Potem je David rekel poslancu: »Tako boš rekel Joábu: ›Ne dopusti, da te ta stvar razžali, kajti meč požre enega kakor drugega. Svojo bitko zoper mesto naredi močnejšo in ga premagaj. Ohrabri ga.‹«

and to say David to(wards) [the] messenger thus to say to(wards) Joab not be evil in/on/with eye: appearance your [obj] [the] word: thing [the] this for like/as this and like/as this to eat [the] sword to strengthen: strengthen battle your to(wards) [the] city and to overthrow her and to strengthen: strengthen him

26 Ko je Urijájeva žena slišala, da je bil njen soprog Urijá mrtev, je žalovala za svojim soprogom.

and to hear: hear woman: wife Uriah for to die Uriah man: husband her and to mourn upon master: husband her

27 Ko je žalovanje minilo, je David poslal in jo privedel k svoji hiši in postala je njegova žena in mu rodila sina. Toda stvar, ki jo je David storil, je razžalila Gospoda.

and to pass [the] mourning and to send: depart David and to gather her to(wards) house: home his and to be to/for him to/for woman: wife and to beget to/for him son: child and be evil [the] word: thing which to make: do David in/on/with eye: appearance LORD
