1 Korinčanom 11
1 Bodite moji posnemovalci, celó kakor sem tudi jaz Kristusov.
Become my imitators, just as I am Christ's.
2 Hvalim vas torej, bratje, da se me spominjate v vseh stvareh in se držite odredb, kakor sem vam jih izročil.
Now I praise you, brothers, that you remember me in all things and hold the traditions just as I delivered them to you.
3 Toda želel bi, da veste, da je glava vsakemu možu Kristus; in glava ženski je mož; in glava Kristusu je Bog.
But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, while a wife's head is the man and Christ's head is God.
4 Vsak mož, ki moli ali prerokuje in ima svojo glavo pokrito, onečašča svojo glavo.
Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head.
5 Toda vsaka ženska, ki moli ali prerokuje s svojo nepokrito glavo, onečašča svojo glavo; ker je to celó isto, kakor če bi bila ostrižena na kratko.
But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her own head—it is one and the same as if it had been shaved.
6 Kajti če se ženska ne pokriva, naj bo tudi ostrižena; toda če je za žensko sramotno, da bi bila ostrižena ali ostrižena na kratko, naj bo pokrita.
So if a woman does not cover herself, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.
7 Kajti mož zares ne bi smel pokrivati svoje glave, ker je podoba in slava Boga; toda ženska je slava moškega.
Indeed, a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.
8 Kajti moški ni iz ženske, temveč ženska iz moškega.
For man did not come from woman, but woman from man;
9 Niti ni bil moški ustvarjen zaradi ženske, temveč ženska zaradi moškega.
and neither was man created for the woman, but woman for the man
10 Zaradi tega razloga mora ženska na svoji glavi imeti oblast, zaradi angelov.
—for this reason the woman needs to have authority upon her head, because of the angels—
11 Pa vendar v Gospodu ni niti moškega brez ženske niti ženske brez moškega.
nevertheless, in the Lord neither is man independent of woman nor woman independent of man.
12 Kajti kakor je ženska iz moškega, točno tako je tudi moški po ženski; toda vse stvari od Boga.
Because as the woman came from the man, so also the man comes through the woman; but all things are from God.
13 Presodite v sebi; ali je primerno, da ženska nepokrita moli k Bogu?
Judge among yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God uncovered?
14 Ali vas ne uči celó sama narava, če ima moški dolge lase, da je to njemu sramota?
Does not nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
15 Toda če ima ženska dolge lase, je njej to slava, kajti lasje so ji dani za pokrivalo.
But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her, because that hair has been given for a covering.
16 Toda če je katerikoli človek videti prepirljiv, mi take navade nimamo niti Božje cerkve ne.
But if anyone decides to be contentious, neither we nor the congregations of God have any other practice.
17 Torej s tem, kar vam navajam, vas ne hvalim, ker se ne shajate na boljše, temveč na slabše.
Now in giving the following instruction I do not praise you, since you are not coming together for the better but for the worse.
18 Kajti predvsem, ko se shajate v cerkvi, slišim, da so med vami nesoglasja; in deloma temu verjamem.
Because, to begin, I hear that when you come together in an assembly there are divisions among you, and I partly believe it.
19 Kajti med vami morajo biti tudi krivoverci, da se med vami lahko razodenejo tisti, ki so preizkušeni.
For there would really need to be factions among you so that the ‘approved’ ones may be recognized among you.
20 Ko torej pridete skupaj na en kraj, to ni, da jeste Gospodovo večerjo.
So when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord's Supper.
21 Ker pri jedi vsakdo poprej vzame svojo lastno večerjo; in je eden lačen, drugi pa pijan.
Because in eating, each one tries to get his meal first, and one goes hungry while another gets drunk!
22 Kaj? Mar nimate hiš, da bi v njih jedli in pili? Ali prezirate Božjo cerkev in sramotite te, ki nimajo? Kaj naj vam rečem? Naj vas hvalim v tem? Ne hvalim vas.
Now really, do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise God's congregation, and humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? Indeed not!
23 Kajti od Gospoda sem prejel to, kar sem vam tudi izročil: »Da je Gospod Jezus isto noč, v kateri je bil izdan, vzel kruh
For I received from the Lord that which I also transmitted to you: The Lord Jesus, during the night in which He was betrayed, took bread;
24 in ko se je zahvalil, ga je razlomil in rekel: ›Vzemite, jejte. To je moje telo, ki je zlomljeno za vas. To delajte v moj spomin.‹
and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said: “Take, eat; this is my body that is being broken on your behalf; do this in remembrance of me.”
25 Na isti način je vzel tudi čašo, ko je srknil, rekoč: ›Ta čaša je nova zaveza v moji krvi. To delajte tako pogosto, kot to pijete, v moj spomin.‹«
In the same way, after they had dined, He took the cup, saying: “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
26 Kajti tako pogosto, kot jeste ta kruh in pijete to čašo, razodevate Gospodovo smrt, dokler ne pride.
For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death, until He comes.
27 Zato kdorkoli bo nevredno jedel ta kruh in pil to Gospodovo čašo, bo kriv Gospodovega telesa in krvi.
So then whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup unworthily will be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord.
28 Toda vsak človek naj izpraša samega sebe in naj tako jé od tega kruha in pije od te čaše.
But let a man examine himself, and then let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
29 Kajti kdor jé in pije nevredno, jé in pije obsodbo samemu sebi in ne razpoznava Gospodovega telesa.
Because he who eats and drinks unworthily eats and drinks judgment to himself, not distinguishing the Lord's body.
30 Zaradi tega razloga so mnogi med vami slabotni in bolehni in mnogi spijo.
Because of this many among you are weak and sick, and a good many have died.
31 Kajti če bi sodili sami sebe, bi ne bili sojeni.
If we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.
32 Toda ko smo sojeni, smo okarani od Gospoda, da ne bi bili obsojeni s svetom.
But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, so that we may not be condemned with the world.
33 Zatorej, moji bratje, kadar pridete skupaj, da jeste, počakajte drug na drugega.
So then, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.
34 In če je katerikoli človek lačen, naj jé doma, da se ne shajate v obsodbo. Ostalo pa bom uredil, ko pridem.
But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest you come together into judgment. And the rest I will set in order when I come.
