1 Torej Benjamin je zaplodil svojega prvorojenca Bela, drugega Ašbéla in tretjega Ahráha,
And Benjamin begot Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
2 četrtega Nohá in petega Rafá.
Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
3 Belovi sinovi so bili: Adár, Gerá, Abihúd,
And Bela had sons: Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,
4 Abišúa, Naamán, Ahóah,
and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
5 Gerá, Šefufán in Hurám.
and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 Ti so Ehúdovi sinovi. To so poglavarji očetov prebivalcev Gebe in odpeljali so jih v Manáhat:
— And these are the sons of Ehud (these were the chief fathers of the inhabitants of Geba; and they carried them away to Manahath;

11 S Hušímo je zaplodil Abitúba in Elpáala.
And of Hushim he begot Abitub, and Elpaal.
12 Elpáalovi sinovi: Eber, Mišám in Šamed, ki je zgradil Onó in Lod z njegovimi mesti;
And the sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misham, and Shemer, who built Ono, and Lod and its dependent villages;

18 tudi Jišmeráj, Jizlijá, Jobáb, Elpáalovi sinovi;
and Jishmerai, and Jizliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.
19 in Jakím, Zihrí, Zabdí,
And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,
20 Elienáj, Celetáj, Eliél,
and Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel,
21 Adajáj, Berajá in Šimrát, Šimíjevi sinovi;
and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.
22 in Jišpán, Eber, Eliél,
And Jishpah, and Eber, and Eliel,
23 Abdón, Zihrí, Hanán,
and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
24 Hananjá, Elám, Antotijá,
and Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
25 Jifdejá in Penuél, Šašákovi sinovi;
and Jiphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.
26 in Šamšeráj, Šeharjá, Ataljá,
And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
27 Jaarešjá, Elijá in Zihrí, Jerohámovi sinovi.
and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.
28 To so bili poglavarji izmed očetov, po svojih rodovih, vodilni možje. Ti so prebivali v Jeruzalemu.
These were the chief fathers, according to their generations, principal men; these dwelt in Jerusalem.
29 Pri Gibeónu je prebival oče Gibeóncev, čigar ženi je bilo ime Maáha.
And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; and his wife's name was Maachah.
30 Njegov prvorojenec Abdón, Cur, Kiš, Báal, Nadáb,
And his son, the firstborn, was Abdon; and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
31 Gedór, Ahjó in Zeher.
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.
32 Miklót je zaplodil Šimája. Tudi ti so s svojimi brati prebivali nasproti njih v Jeruzalemu.
And Mikloth begot Shimeah. And these also dwelt beside their brethren in Jerusalem, with their brethren.
33 Ner je zaplodil Kiša, Kiš je zaplodil Savla, Savel je zaplodil Jonatana, Malkišúa, Abinadába in Ešbáala.
And Ner begot Kish; and Kish begot Saul; and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal.
34 Jonatanov sin je bil Meríb Báal in Meríb Báal je zaplodil Miha.
And the son of Jonathan was Merib-Baal; and Merib-Baal begot Micah.
35 Mihovi sinovi so bili Pitón, Meleh, Taréa in Aház.
And the sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 Aház je zaplodil Jeoadája; in Jeoadá je zaplodil Alémeta, Azmáveta in Zimríja; Zimrí je zaplodil Mocá
And Ahaz begot Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza;
37 in Mocá je zaplodil Binája; njegov sin je bil Rafája, njegov sin Elasáj, njegov sin Acél.
and Moza begot Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
38 Acél je imel šest sinov, katerih imena so ta: Azrikám, Bohrú, Jišmaél, Šearjá, Obadjá in Hanán. Vsi ti so bili Acélovi sinovi.
And Azel had six sons, and these are their names: Azrikam, Bochru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan; all these were sons of Azel.
39 Sinovi njegovega brata Ešeka so bili njegov prvorojenec Ulám, drugi Jeúš in tretji Elifélet.
And the sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 Ulámovi sinovi so bili močni junaški možje, lokostrelci in imel je mnogo sinov in vnukov, sto petdeset. Vsi ti so Benjaminovi sinovi.
And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers; and they had many sons, and sons' sons, a hundred and fifty. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
