Псалтирь 87

1 Сыном Кореовым, псалом песни.

“By the sons of Korach; a psalm or song.” It is founded by him on holy mountains.

2 Основания его на горах святых: любит Господь врата Сионя паче всех селений Иаковлих.

The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3 Преславная глаголашася о тебе, граде Божий.

Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. (Selah)

4 Помяну Раав и Вавилона ведущым мя: и се, иноплеменницы и Тир и людие Ефиопстии, сии быша тамо.

I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as those that know me; behold, here is Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: “This man was born there.”

5 Мати Сион речет: человек и человек родися в нем, и Той основа и Вышний.

But of Zion will it be said, “This and that man were born in her:” and the Most High himself doth establish her.

6 Господь повесть в писании людий и князей, сих бывших в нем.

The Lord will number when he writeth down nations. “This man was born there.” (Selah)

7 Яко веселящихся всех жилище в тебе.

And the singers as well as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs [of joy] are in thee.
