Псалтирь 85
1 В конец, сыном Кореовым, псалом. Благоволил еси, Господи, землю Твою, возвратил еси плен Иаковль.
“For the leader of the music. A psalm of the sons of Korah.” O LORD! thou hast been favorable to thy land; Thou hast brought back the captives of Jacob;
2 Оставил еси беззакония людий Твоих, покрыл еси вся грехи их.
Thou didst forgive the iniquity of thy people, And cover all their sins! (Pause)
3 Укротил еси весь гнев Твой, возвратился еси от гнева ярости Твоея.
Thou didst take away all thy displeasure, And abate the fierceness of thy wrath.
4 Возврати нас, Боже спасений наших, и отврати ярость Твою от нас.
Restore us, O God of our salvation! And let thine anger towards us cease!
5 Еда во веки прогневаешися на ны? Или простреши гнев Твой от рода в род?
Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt thou continue thy wrath from generation to generation?
6 Боже, Ты обращься оживиши ны, и людие Твои возвеселятся о Тебе.
Wilt thou not revive us again, That thy people may rejoice in thee?
7 Яви нам, Господи, милость Твою, и спасение Твое даждь нам.
Show us thy compassion, O LORD! And grant us thy salvation!
8 Услышу, что речет о мне Господь Бог: яко речет мир на люди Своя, и на преподобныя Своя, и на обращающыя сердца к нему.
I will hear what God the LORD will speak: Truly he will speak peace to his people, and to his servants; Only let them not turn again to folly!
9 Обаче близ боящихся Его спасение Его, вселити славу в землю нашу.
Yea, his salvation is near to those who fear him, That glory may dwell in our land.
10 Милость и истина сретостеся, правда и мир облобызастася:
Mercy and truth shall meet together, Righteousness and peace shall kiss each other;
11 истина от земли возсия, и правда с небесе приниче:
Truth shall spring out of the earth; Righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 ибо Господь даст благость, и земля наша даст плод свой.
Yea, Jehovah will give prosperity, And our land shall yield her increase.
13 Правда пред Ним предидет, и положит в путь стопы своя.
Righteousness shall go before him, And set us in the way of his steps.
