Псалтирь 54

1 В конец, в песнех разума Давиду, внегда приити Зифеем и рещи Саулови: не се ли, Давид скрыся в нас? Боже, во имя Твое спаси мя и в силе Твоей суди ми.

“To the chief musician on Neginoth, a Maskil of David, When the Ziphim came and said to Saul, Behold, David is hiding himself with us.” O God, by thy name save me, and by thy strength grant me justice.

2 Боже, услыши молитву мою, внуши глаголы уст моих:

O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3 яко чуждии восташа на мя, и крепцыи взыскаша душу мою, и не предложиша Бога пред собою.

For strangers [to goodness] are risen up against me, and powerful oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. (Selah)

4 Се бо, Бог помогает ми, и Господь заступник души моей:

Behold, God is a helper unto me: the Lord is among those that uphold my soul.

5 отвратит злая врагом моим: истиною Твоею потреби их.

He will cause the evil to return upon those that regard me with envy: in thy truth cut them off.

6 Волею пожру Тебе, исповемся имени Твоему, Господи, яко благо:

I will liberally sacrifice unto thee: I will give thanks unto thy name, O Lord; for it is good.

7 яко от всякия печали избавил мя еси, и на враги моя воззре око мое.

For out of all distress hath he delivered me: and my eye hath seen [its desire] on my enemies.
