Псалтирь 5

1 О наследствующем, Псалом Давиду. Глаголы моя внуши, Господи, разумей звание мое.

[For the Chief Musician, with the flutes. A Psalm by David.] Listen to my words, Jehovah. Consider my (meditation)

2 Вонми гласу моления моего, Царю мой и Боже мой: яко к Тебе помолюся, Господи.

Give attention to the voice of my cry, my King and my God; for to you do I pray.

3 Заутра услыши глас мой: заутра предстану Ти, и узриши мя:

Jehovah, in the morning you shall hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and watch.

4 яко Бог не хотяй беззакония Ты еси: не приселится к Тебе лукавнуяй,

For you are not a God who desires wickedness. Evil can't live with you.

5 ниже пребудут беззаконницы пред очима Твоима: возненавидел еси вся делающыя беззаконие,

The arrogant shall not stand in your sight. You hate all evildoers.

6 погубиши вся глаголющыя лжу: мужа кровей и льстива гнушается Господь.

You will destroy those who speak lies. Jehovah despises a person of bloodshed and deceit.

7 Аз же множеством милости Твоея вниду в дом Твой, поклонюся ко храму святому Твоему, в страсе Твоем.

But as for me, in the abundance of your loving kindness I will enter into your house. I will bow toward your holy temple in reverence of you.

8 Господи, настави мя правдою Твоею, враг моих ради исправи пред Тобою путь мой.

Lead me, Jehovah, in your righteousness because of my enemies. Make your way straight before me.

9 Яко несть во устех их истины, сердце их суетно, гроб отверст гортань их, языки своими льщаху.

For there is nothing reliable in their mouth. Their heart is destruction. Their throat is an open tomb; with their tongues they flatter.

10 Суди им, Боже, да отпадут от мыслей своих: по множеству нечестия их изрини я, яко преогорчиша Тя, Господи.

Hold them guilty, God. Let them fall by their own counsels. Cast them out because of the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against you.

11 И да возвеселятся вси уповающии на Тя, во век возрадуются, и вселишися в них: и похвалятся о Тебе любящии имя Твое.

But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice. Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. And let those who love your name be joyful in you.

12 Яко Ты благословиши праведника, Господи, яко оружием благоволения венчал еси нас.

For you bless the righteous, Jehovah. You surround him with favor like a shield.
