1 Аще не Господь созиждет дом, всуе трудишася зиждущии: аще не Господь сохранит град, всуе бде стрегий.

2 Всуе вам есть утреневати: востанете по седении ядущии хлеб болезни, егда даст возлюбленным Своим сон.

Vanity [belongs] to you - [who] rise early to rise [who] delay to sit [who] eat [the] bread of labors thus he gives to beloved [one] his sleep.

3 Се, достояние Господне сынове, мзда плода чревняго.

Here! [the] inheritance of Yahweh [is] sons [is] a reward [the] fruit of the womb.

4 Яко стрелы в руце сильнаго, тако сынове оттрясенных.

Like arrows in [the] hand of a warrior so [are] [the] sons of youth.

5 Блажен, иже исполнит желание свое от них: не постыдятся, егда глаголют врагом своим во вратех.

How blessed! [is] the man who he has filled quiver his from them not they will be ashamed if they will speak with enemies in the gate.
