Псалтирь 115
1 Не нам, Господи, не нам, но имени Твоему даждь славу о милости Твоей и истине Твоей:
Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your mercy, and for your truth’s sake.
2 да не когда рекут языцы: где есть Бог их?
Why should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
3 Бог же наш на небеси и на земли, вся елика восхоте, сотвори.
But our God is in the heavens: he has done whatever he has pleased.
4 Идоли язык сребро и злато, дела рук человеческих:
Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
5 уста имут, и не возглаголют: очи имут, и не узрят:
They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6 ушы имут, и не услышат: ноздри имут, и не обоняют:
They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7 руце имут, и не осяжут: нозе имут, и не пойдут: не возгласят гортанем своим.
They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8 Подобни им да будут творящии я и вси надеющиися на ня.
They that make them are like to them; so is every one that trusts in them.
9 Дом Израилев упова на Господа: помощник и защититель им есть.
O Israel, trust you in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
10 Дом Ааронь упова на Господа: помощник и защититель им есть.
O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
11 Боящиися Господа уповаша на Господа: помощник и защититель им есть.
You that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
12 Господь помянув ны благословил есть нас: благословил есть дом Израилев, благословил есть дом Ааронь,
The LORD has been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
13 благословил есть боящыяся Господа, малыя с великими.
He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
14 Да приложит Господь на вы, на вы и на сыны вашя:
The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
15 благословени вы Господеви, сотворшему небо и землю.
You are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
16 Небо небесе Господеви, землю же даде сыновом человеческим.
The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s: but the earth has he given to the children of men.
17 Не мертвии восхвалят Тя, Господи, ниже вси низходящии во ад:
The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.
18 но мы живии благословим Господа отныне и до века.
But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for ever more. Praise the LORD.
