Псалтирь 112

1 Блажен муж бояйся Господа, в заповедех Его восхощет зело.

Praise Yahweh! (Happy are/He is pleased with) those who revere him, those who happily obey his commands.

2 Сильно на земли будет семя его, род правых благословится:

Their children will prosper in their land; and their descendants will be blessed [by God].

3 слава и богатство в дому его, и правда его пребывает в век века.

Their families [MTY] will be very wealthy [DOU], and [the results of] their righteous deeds will endure forever.

4 Возсия во тме свет правым: милостив и щедр и праведен.

Godly/Righteous people are [like] lights [SIM] that shine in the darkness on those who are kind, merciful and righteous.

5 Благ муж щедря и дая: устроит словеса своя на суде, яко в век не подвижится.

Things [will] go well for those who generously lend money to others and who conduct their businesses honestly.

6 В память вечную будет праведник.

Righteous people will not be overwhelmed/worried/distressed [because of their troubles], and they will never be forgotten [by other people].

7 От слуха зла не убоится:

They are not afraid of [receiving] bad news; they confidently/completely trust in Yahweh.

8 готово сердце его уповати на Господа: утвердися сердце его, не убоится, дондеже воззрит на враги своя.

They are confident and not afraid, because they know that they will see [God defeat] their enemies.

9 Расточи, даде убогим: правда его пребывает во век века: рог его вознесется в славе.

They give things generously to poor/needy [people]; [the results of] their kind deeds will endure forever, and they [will] be exalted and honored.

10 Грешник узрит и прогневается зубы своими поскрежещет и растает: желание грешника погибнет.

Wicked people see those things and are angry; they gnash their teeth [angrily], but they [will] disappear [and die]. The [wicked] things that they want to do [will] never happen.
